[Q] Blank HP iPAQ 6515e - Beetles

I have an HP iPAQ hw6515e with a new battery. It was working fine until I changed the outer case to black.... While it’s on charge the red light is on but once its unplugged, the red light go out. I press the ON/OFF button and nothing comes on. I re-opened the case and checked all connections and they seemed to be fine. Can someone help me?

ur Back cover is switcher
the original back cover of iPaq 6515 has pin to push a microswitch inside the unit. may be ur brand new outer case doesn't have "extra pin". try to use ur original outer case.

Black screen?

Hello!
I have opened my BA case, cause the down button on the front panel stopt working as it should (I had to press it REALLY hard to make it work). The rubber part was a bit used.
After reassembling the unit, the screen is dead - it remains black (backlight is on, touchscreen works, but the image is black). What could go wrong?:/
did u figure it out??
check that nothing is torn or broken, espcially those thin soft connectors...
Yep, its functional again. Simply the maiunboard connector did get 'used off' - had to correct the pins (just... move them a little) with a thin needle

[Q] Stylus Problem - PLEASE HELP...

Hi,
When I pull my stylus - nothing happens... doesn't turn on or unlock device.
or during a call opens "notes".
Everything is Checked - it should do it, but it won't...
Any Ideas ???
Thanks
Take out the stylus, then remove the rear panel from your diamond. Look to see if the tiny magnet strip has become dislodged. This happened to mine after I'd had it just two days... it made it difficult to insert the stylus, and it just felt all wrong, because the strip had stuck itself in an awkward position. It also wouldn't recognize when the stylus was withdrawn.
I very nearly returned my diamond under warranty, until I looked closely at the stylus aperture and noticed this issue. I fixed it with a tiny spot of super glue on the magnetic strip and deft use of some plastic tweezers... saved days of re-programming a replacement.
Mr. Orange owes me a beer I reckon ;-)
Thanks for the reply...
The magnetic strip is there... I feel the magnet working...
but the diamond doesn't recognize when its in or out...
Anyone ?? Help - is it hardware or software ????
also a problem with the magnet strip
I own my diamond now for three weeks and something went wrong with the magnetstrip..it looks like it is still inplace but the magnetic force is stronger on the outside of the phone then on the inside (where its supposed to be) I'm trying to move te strip in the right position. but is not working.(seems like te strip is in the correct position)
It just happened. Really annoying..The phone goes on when I remove the stylus. (and the stylus is holding , but I don't get "the magnetic snap anymore"

Easy problem! The 1 or 2 cables from the lower PCB are disconnected.
You need to remove the lower plastic cover (5 screws). One flat cable connector is right under the SIM, the other is under the batt. connector. You need a fine tweezer and press them back together.
After that put the batt in and try, no need to screw all together yet.

LCD won't turn on - help

Hello, guys!
Recently I bought an HTC One with cracked digitizer, but functional. It had a lot of scratches etc, but this is not important right now. I wanted to do a complete make-over so I bought replacement parts from the internet, I bought the front housing with the LCD screen and the back cover. I dissasembled the phone from the old housing (the one with the broken digitizer), and I assembled it back on the new housing. After all of that, I powered on the phone and it worked like a charm (the LCD and the touch-screen worked perfectly), but then I saw that the glass was a little out, I mean it was upper than the speakers cover, so I decided to take out the whole screen and to change the adhesive, because it was too loose and the screen wasn't staying properly. I succesfully did that, i put the screen back and everything was good, but when I wanted to start the phone, the screen remains black. And this is the problem I have. I mention that I worked very carefully with the screen, so I don't think the problem is at the screen. I disconnected and reconnected all the cables and still doesn't work. When I press the power button it vibrates and then it's making that sound like the phone is booting, but no image on the LCD. If I keep the power button pressed, the back and home buttons are blinking and then the same story as before, vibrates and then the sound. I really don't know what could be the problem.
I really need some help with this and I'm open to all of your suggestions. If you want more informations feel free to ask.
Thanks in anticipation!
To me it looks like you damaged one the flat flex cable.
When you took the screen out did it come like suddenly and maybe some tension was applied to the flat flex?
If I were you I would take it apart and verify the connection in the socket, maybe the socket was damaged or something and it doesn't make a good connection
I hope it works out for you
Thank you for your answer!
When I took out the screen, I took it out very carefully and there wasn't any tension applied to the flex cable, so I don't think this is the problem. I think it's more likely a problem with the socket on the motherboard, like you said, and it's not making a good contact. But what can I do about that?
