Whats the best update?

Hello all!
New to the site and new to my xda 11s.
Just a couple of quick questions, what is the best update on here for my xda? Read a couple of people who have posted on here about thier updates and dont really know if i should update it at all?
Also, is there software availible from this site?
Be glad for all your views

ok, just took a look, and ill be quite honest with you, all kinda confusing lol
All im reaaly interested in is if its worth ugrading the software to wm5. I have read good and bad poins about it, like, runs slow, not everythin works, etc
Dont wantg to ruin the handset so other peoples opinions are helpful to me

You can try upgrading to WM5, and if you do not like it you can always downgrade to the latest WM2003SE rom there are few good versions of WM5 in the ftp try them and decide which OS you like more

TuMa 1.3, IMOA.
Seems the most stable WM5 ROM, though it does have one of two annoying bugs they are no worse then what WM2003SE has. It's not the fastest on a new install but it doesn't slow down much once you start using it.

There is also a new version of this ROM being developed (1.5 as 1.4 was too buggy) but this isnt in Alpha mode yet, so you might want to upgrade to 1.3 now and wait till 1.5 has been tested and becomes stable.

What is the latest UK ROM for the T Mobile Vario?

Hi all,
Sory if this sounds too easy for some- but I've been searching the net and this forum for the latest UK TMobile ROM. Off the net some of the links don't work- same as here one of the links pointing to the latest ROM does not work -

My ROM is 2.21.2.6 WWE, ROM Date 3/9/06.
Is this the latest? If not where can I get the latest? I think its 2.26.10.2 WWE?
My vario has started crashing these days especially after sending or receiving texts.

I did look at many of those posts earlier. I'm not trying to install another operators ROM or any cooked ones- just the 'official' T Mobile UK one, that is if they have an update to the one I already have.
I also asked T Mobile staff, but they gave me a blank look!

Try Offical AKU3.3 WWE.It's best ROM!Better than any WM5 or Wm6 ROM.(also it's WM5 ROM).

hi every one i wanted to know how to go back to 6.1 because i dont like 6.5 can anyone send me to the link to get 6.1 i had the R3A something or other also when i do it will it become compatable with the device update centre for future updates?

Just flash your phone with stock ROM, find the correct ROM in the sticky from PavelX1.

awalton ........ just look at the sticky. the answers are all there. look at the biovolt sticky with video tutorial - can't get any clearer than that.

Dutch 6.5 ROM released

At http://www.htcforum.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=1864 I found a Dutch HTC Blackstone WinMo 6.5 ROM and now testing it, runs fine for now and lots of credits to: Mr. Mikenificent, Great job and a plus for the Dutch users.
Rom is called: [ROM][WM6.5][NLD] Mikenificent 1.0 [30.07.09][Build 23016]

Still running good and no bugs found till now, glad that there is a Dutch 6.5 now

Im uploading 2.0 right now which has a lot of updates and improvements

Also, would this Asian ROM also be WWE? I don't know how HTC does it - only one language or a couple, etc.

If someone has flashed the ROM, can you please post specs of whats inside. What version of HTC Sense, messaging, what installed apps in ROM, etc..

So Slow..
i am downloading the new sea ROM at the moment and will flash it soon when it ends, but the server there is SOOOO slow, it downloads on 19k speed....
so i will also upload it to rapidshare for anyone to use, and DL faster.

i have an issue with this official 1.86.707.4 ROM. everytime i restart my phone, i have to touch the screen to get TouchFlo Home screen to shows up. Beside, there's nothing special about official ROMs except so many useless things in there. i'm flashing back to a Custom_RUU from our chefs here.

Dumping the rom now... it's just a official rom from HTC.. probably should be included in the official sticky thread instead of having it's own thread.. were does pdaviet tie in?
Edit: Rom is official build 21854 from HTC.. it is WWE.

Personally i am not impressed by it. manilla is 2.1 and except the fact it has all screens in landscape as well i prefer (and soon flashing back to) the costum ROM's been published here..
