I have Wing220 and I want to remove the password on it,but when I'm trying to do Hard Reset the phone powers ip normally. when I'm trying to get into bootloader it goes without problem,but can't make Hard reset procedure in no way.
Some advice???

hey guys,
need some help from the xpert here, my tilt cannot boot up its stuck on the AT&T screen, i have tried soft reset, hard reset and still cannot fix the problem. the worst problem is cannot sync into my pc...

you sure you attempted to hard reset and still nothing?
take out your memory card and see if that does anything.
If it still won't boot up, then get into bootloader mode and re-flash your rom.
We need a bit more info to help:
1. Did you have HardSPL installed? Check by looking at the tri-colour bootloader screen (press and hold power/camera buttons and reset with stylus at the same time).
2. What ROM/radio do you have?
3. Did you try to flash another rom or radio before this problem hapenned?
4. When you hard reset, did you get the grey screen with instructions telling you to send to continue? Sometimes the hard reset routine doesn't always work properly.
5. Are you running XP or Vista on your PC?
Try going into the bootloader and connecting the USB cable. The screen text at the bottom should change from 'Serial' to 'USB'. If you have Hard-SPL you should be able to re-flash any rom (some here) - but check for compatible radios. If you don't have hard-spl try flashing the manufacturers original rom.

Please help me, my X1 giving me only tri color boot screen, i tried soft reset many times, i tried hardreset and it didnt work, i removed the battery for a long time and when started also giving me the same !! i did Hard SPL before, i tried also upgarding the Radio ROM through SD card and it gives me Update Complete and Success and tried to reset it but also gives me the same boot loader image!!!
What should i do? i need to access the device for the data, i have a lot of info i need to retrive fom there...is there any one can help?? Please how can i get out of the Bootloader screen

If you have made a hard reset, data on your phone are lost (except data on your SDcard)
Try to flash a new rom trough SDcard
Thanks, here is the point i dont want to flash the ROM because i dont want to lose the data, i just tried the manual Hardreset to test if the device will get into the H/R menue , but it didnt!
Can you help in why this happend? and why nothing except the bootloader appear? i turning crazy about the data

Tried flashing using the SD card, after finishing i did a soft reset using the stylus and again it boots into the boot loader only

I tried to flash a rom for my diamond after doing the hard spl, after the rom finished flashing and installation of the cab files finished I soft reset the device because it did not do it by its own, when resetting the words touch diamond and the three red lines appeared and that was it the screen froze and my diamond didn't do anything else. I tried leaving it for a while but nothing changes.
I urgently need help to fix this problem, with the complete steps to do so.

Same thing happened to me.
What I did:
1. Hard reset the diamond.
2. After installation of cab files finished i did not soft reset it.
3. Conected it to the ActiveSync
4. Flashed in another ROM.
i hard reset my device, many times but nothing happens. when my diamond boots up again after the hard reset it the same problem occurs again

Put it in bootloader and flash the rom again. Then after the flash completes hard reset. Then let it boot and then install your cabs.
Hi all,
I had a password lock (that appears when the phone is started and you can't go past this lock without out password) activated on my htc viva, that I forgot. Now I want to hard reset my viva. Since I am unable to go any further, I can't use "clear storage" option. And the procedure to Hard Reset is NOT working, although I am doing the Hard Reset procedure correctly. Any help to would be more than appreciated!!! Thanks
Try to reset your phone use stylus then push red button remove battery cover then hold answer and end call then you will see how to hard reset the phone. Hope that will work.

it seems u need to flash a rom of ur choice from SD card. u need to rename the .nbh file to OPALIMG.nbh. try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=541289.

First off your not making any sense. You haven't told what you flashed and how you did a hard reset. I'm guessing you having problem with the pattern password key.
1. What ROM are you using (stock or custom)
2. Have you got a custom recovery like twrp?
3. How did you do a "hard reset"?

I flashed it using mfastboot using this firmware RETAILDSDSALL_XT1068_5.0.2_LXB22.99-16_cid7_CFC
i did hard reset by enetring recovery then wipe data, using volup+voldown +short press power
I tryed install cwm and CWM PhilZ Touch via fastboot but i'm getting mismatched partition size error,it's still on stock recovery
any help frineds ?
