This will work with *ANY* theme that has the Stericson's lockscreen on it. All you have to do is flash it using the easy new (and AWESOME) method of flashing theme files made by Stericson, Kastro and Riku called MetaMorph:
To flash simply put Prash-SystemForce3-Stericson-Lockscreen.zip into the "AndroidThemes" directory then go into terminal type the following:
Code:
su
mm.sh -i
Then follow the prompt. Select #2, then select my lockscreen theme file, then once its done press 1 to select the frameworks-apk and hit enter to flash.
REBOOT is necessary after this.
Find out more info at the MetaMorph thread.
Anywho: here is a screenshot of what you should have when everything is done:

I'm working on doing the Melange Theme this way... your help will be greatly appreciated Sir Prash...
It's actually super easy, just grab that theme example from Metamorph thread and just replace the images and add folders you want to include. Its all done with images only. Same folder structures but nothing else needed.
Just pm me if you need help with anything, more themers need to start using metamorph, its amazing. You don't need to make any more rom dependant themes..you can basically use metamorph to flash any themes on any roms.

Here are some icons that I ripped out of an Eclair ROM I found here on XDA. You can use them with your favorite icon editing app. Enjoy.
EDIT: Updated some icons based on some themes floating around here. I will most likely not be updating this anymore. I used these icons before I found a full theme and figured I'd post them for anyone who wanted to change some of their icons without having to flash a full theme. So, here they are.

It's a very lengthy and tedious process, but here goes:
1) Open up your ROM (with something like WinRAR) and pull all the apps from /system to somewhere like your desktop.
2) Then open the apk in winrar and find the find the icon, they're normally in the res/drawables folder.
3) Then find the icon you want to replace it with, give it the same name as the icon it's replacing, and drag it in to winrar. It should ask if you want to replace, say yes and you're done
4) Repeat for as many apps as you want.
Thanks alot man!

The easiest way to use these icons without having to change individual APKs is to use AnyCut or BetterCut. You still have to do them individually but the good thing is that My Backup Pro will save the state of those changes if you ever have to restore your home screen.
But like I said in the OP edit, I now use a theme so I no longer use these.
Thanks for your help. it's very useful.
But you are using Cyanogen 4.2.3.1, Can i use Cyanogen on my hero.

it would tell you invalid signature or some other error. these are icons, there are no .apk files in this, there is no META-INF folder, so in essence, nothing would happen.
Hey,
I made this simple little theme for private use - but I just decided to share it
It only changes the appearance of the bottom bar of the Rosie homescreen...
And I also made a clock theme that matches it.
I use it with the [email protected] ROM but it should work with all ROMs based on the Hero 2.1 build.
You need MetaMorph installed to apply the theme.
Have fun

Hey,
the buttons look very nice.
I know, that it is not so simple to make buttons like this.
Good work. Keep up and share your themes. I like it!
I updated this theme a bit - it now has a black transparent bottom bar
can I be nosy and ask what the thing at the bottom left of your homescreen is? Just part of the background or an app?
The glossy bottom bar is very sexy! Please keep at it !
Great Work

It's pretty easy please do a Nandroid backup before...
- just install Metamorph and AndExplorer from the Market
- then copy one of the zip files attached to this thread to your SD card
- start the MetaMorph application on your device
- select the zip file (choose AndExplorer if it asks you which app it should use)
- apply the theme
You can also find more information about MetaMorph here : http://code.google.com/p/android-metamorph/wiki/MetaMorph
can you please make it usable on 1.5 ROMs please?
First of all thank you for reading this.
I've flashed Darky's ROM v6.0, it was working great. Then flashed this theme, it was still great, moreover even better.
Then I had the idea, what if I make the transparent background of the dialer a little bit darker so I extracted the DialerTabActivity.apk from Darky's ROM, changed the corresponding PNG, saved the new apk with TotalCommander and replaced the original DialerTabActivity.apk in the phone with RootExplorer. It was all right, it was working fine after reboot as well.
Then I had a greater idea, at least it seemed to be a great idea at that time What if I replace the gradient status bar background with a plain black background... I've done everything the same way with the framework-res.apk, yet after restart basically everything force closed. Tried to reflash the theme but it didn't help.
I was wondering what have I done wrong.
1) Why did it work with the dialer the first time and what went wrong with the framework-res.apk?
2) What is the correct way to do these modifications?
Thank you for all your help.
The method was fine. Both modified apks work after ROM reinstall.
Mods attached below.
Dark Transparent theme mod: Full black status bar
Based on XXJPX Dark Transparent 1.7 +AOSP +9patched images +No menu-button unlock +Extended menu +Circle battery mod
Download
Install:
Make sure that no custom wallpaper is set from the Gallery, use a stock wallpaper instead for now. At least this caused me problems first.
Flash it with CWM recovery
Works great on Darky's JPX ROM v6.0

The instructions seem simple enough, but I, for the life of me, can't get it to show up? I haven't messed around with bootanimations but I tested using a different one (Apex's) and it worked fine.
did you test the apex animation on the illuminance rom?
if people got this to work, please post here and give us your detailed instructions for mounting this on the illuminance rom. thanks!

Ok. Can you attach the apexboot file if possible? I would like to check it out and figure out where the problem resides in this custom bootanimation.
Thanks In Advance!

Hi everybody,
now that we have unlock bootloader and TWRP is on her way, from the Oneplus One knowlegde, I present you another way to customize your TWRP, with new splash screens and new themes. You may see for yourself.
This thread is based in several threads in XDA. Basically, the resolution 1080x1920 is the same of Oneplus One and is good to our phone.
So, you only need to follow those instructions:
Disclaimer: I'm not responsible for any brick on your phones. If you do everything well, this disclaimer is unnecessary
1.Download and unpack Android Image Kitchen
2.Unpack the zip.
3.Download the zip containing the custom curtains (splash images)
4.Get the recovery image you want to modify from the asus TWRP thread download place
5.Copy the recovery image to the Android Image Kitchen folder.
6.In windows explorer, drag & drop the recovery image on the "unpackimg.bat" file. Unpacking will create two new folders (ramdisk and split_image).
7.Rename the splash of your choice to "curtain.jpg" and drop it into /ramdisk/twres/images. Accept replace the file.
8.Hit "repackimg.bat".
9.This will create a "image-new.img", which you can then flash with "fastboot flash recovery "newrecovery.img"" command, in fastboot mode.
10. You may rename to another name, such AsusZF2-2.8.7.0-"curtain name).img (no spaces between cases)
Note: The cleanup batch script resets the folder to its initial state, removing the split_img+ramdisk directories and any new packed ramdisk or image files.
Available themes:
Dark Theme
Light Theme
Play Theme
Apply the theme:
1. Choose your theme from the links, and download
2. On Internal storage open TWRP folder and create folder "theme" (use lower case)
3. Rename your choosed theme to ui.zip and copy ui.zip in theme folder (use lower case to rename theme.zip to ui.zip)
4. Restart phone in TWRP and enjoy!
Credits to all people in XDA that works in those material:good::good:
1st Cool Thank You.
The Dark theme looks really good, It changed the whole layout.
