VGA/USB cable

Hi,
On the left side of the Athena, there is a mini-USB for power and a VGA. I read in the documentation that it is possible to connect a USB cable to the VGA port. Can someone point me to the kind of VGA to USB cable that works?
Thanks, John
it is a usb host port, what do you actualy want to do ?
Hi Ice,
I would like to connect my Athena to a USB switch for sharing peripherals. I thought about having the mini-USB connected to power, and this VGA/USB Host port connected to an USB switch. Is this possible?
Thanks! John

You want the HTC 4 in 1 Cable available at Expansys:

If you are not in the USA just access their other locations with the Change link in the upper right-hand corner of the webpage.

Brad,
This cable has a VGA out connection on the outside and this is not what I want. I will ask the question differently: is it possible to connect the Athena to a USB switch in order that it shares peripherals?
Thanks! John
But in addition to the VGA output it has a USB socket on the side, if you want to connect anything to the Athena via USB you need the cable - Mike
Now I got it!
The 4 in 1 cable that Brad pointed here: http://www.mobileplanet.com/zoompic.aspx?type=item&i=145166
is not the one shipped in standard with the HTC that doesn't have a USB port on the side. This is why I got confused.
Problem solved. Thanks, John

jabra bt8010 cable replacement - HELP ME

could you help me
so thanks

because I tried to find out cable but failed, no one sells that.
please help me to answer this question.
thanks so much
hi, just like you i also need usb cable for my 8010. ive googled high & low but to no avaiL? especially as im in the Philippines . . maybe by this time you have new info? pls help & thanks
Its just a usb-to-micro-usb cable.
thanks, but the micro usb's available on ebay are for motorola & looking at the pics -> - > they look different . .
Micro usb is micro usb. Its a standard.
usb may be a standard, but ...
... apparently the cable ends are not. I've have three different Jabra headsets in the past several years, all of which used a usb charging cable and none of the usb cable ends on the headset side were compatible with each other. I made the mistake of ordering off ebay and the cables I received did not fit my 8010. My advice: Don't buy a usb cable unless the seller can confirm that the cable works with your particular headset.
@kihoalu
thanks very much. if you get wind of a supplier, pls post. im sure there are others who also need this cable
I wish I knew why yours are all different, my 8010 came with a standard micro-USB port. The charger and the computer sync cable are quite normal.

But it's tricky, and the the device isn't even booting doesn't make it better. Good luck to you.

bt sir
I can't find anything about the pins which are causing the device not to run t all
isn't there anything about that
or do my device have another problem other than the usb connector?!

[Q] Raider PH39150 Charge Port Flex Cable

Hi,
I Have had issues with the micro usb charge port on my HTC Raider.
I have resoldered the jack to the pcb and in the process I managed to break the flex cable that attaches to the motherboard.
I was wondering if anyone has information on the pinout of the flex cable?
I only need the vss and gnd just to get the unit charging again.
I have searched all over the net and no luck.
I plan on ordering a new connector but in the meantime I need a working phone.
tia.
I think... @repairsuniverse might be able to help

Wifi cable

Hi,
I replaced my broken backglass and somehow managed to cut the wifi cable.
Does any of you guys know where to order the right cable?
Surely Huawei are your first port of call? It should at least be OEM.
