I'm looking for a (free) twitter app for my HTC Hero that does the following: when there are for example 3 tweets with each a link in it, I'd like to open them all in different windows. The apps I've currently used (Peep and Twidroid) don't do this... when I tap on a link, a browser windows opens... then, when I go back into the twitter app and tap another link, the current window of my browser (which is loading the first link) will now begin loading the second link I've tapped... So I "lose" the first website... So I'm looking for a twitter app that opens those different links in different windows, so I can view them at the same time...
Or is there maybe a (hidden) setting somewhere ? Didn't find it yet though...

Hi all, anyone know how to reinstall the Windows multi-function home page for Internet Explorer that comes as standard with WM6, instead of the HTC one which is just a link to their home page? Much though I like HTC, the Windows one was much more useful, allowing you to quickly go to recent history of sites visited, and it remembered your most used favourites.
You could try setting your homepage to file://\windows\default_0409.htm
No sadly that's the file HTC have overwritten with their own version. What I'd need is someone to post the Windows version back to the forum

I deleted an RSS download app off my Kaiser, and accidently said yes to deleting all channels so now when I install a new RSS reader it has no channels. Is there anywhere I can download them from as it would take hours to go to each site and copy in the links.
i used to use pRSSreader and it gave me a lot of problems then was recommended RSS Hub and its been working really well for me. It also has a built in search that allows u to just add feeds from the search without having to go online and copying and poasting links.

There's a today screen add-on here (just a few registry edits) that allows it to be added to your Today screen. Search RSS Hub today.

hello, i have a small problem, after trying various registry changes etc for changing the default browser to Opera 9.5 (i have the first firmware release of x1 at moment, will change it to r3 when i have some time) i succeded to change the default browser when i click links around using XperiaTweak2...
I use my x1 a LOT with the gmail java application, is way more confortable that any other way for using my gmail account and i use it as only email, well, the problem is that even if the default browser is set to opera and works if i click links around it does not work when i click a link in the Java app for Gmail... i have tryed to use gmail from opera but with this java app is way faster and more confortable...
any idea on how i can manage to force this damn thing to open the links i click in the Gmail Java app with Opera and not with IE?

I am glad that someone thought to post this. I have been fighting this issue with my java gmail app on windows mobile for nearly a year. I had to go back to version 1.5.0.1193 instead of using the updated 2.0.6 version because in the newer version when I click on a link it locks up my entire phone and I have to do a soft reset to get the phone back to normal. In version 1.5.0.1193 I get this message immediately after I click on a link "http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u=http%3A%2F%www.ebay.com" with a question asking me if I want to open this URL with a yes or no option. In this case I was just clicking on a link to take me to ebay's main website page. If I click "Yes" then IE Mobile opens (BLAH!) and it inserts "http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u=http%3A%2F%www.ebay.com" in the address bar in IE Mobile and all I get is the general "The page cannot be found" error message. There are no options under "Settings" to change the default browser or how it inserts the links in the address bar. So, I have been puzzled about this for a really long time and I thought I was the only one that was bothered by this. If there are any good programmers out there that understand Java please help us with this.
just install R3A, i found out that it makes Opera the default browser for everything
EDIT: You may also find the new beta Opera Browser 9.7 useful as it has a "Set Opera as default browser" option

I am making an android book app with java using one web view and my pages in html files.
I created an assets folder , under src- main and store my pages in there
Now all I'm missing is a navigation method.
As I am new to this, I am trying to find how to slide from one html page to another instead of clicking buttons. please if you know how , set an example because like I said I am new to this.

So far no one gave me any reliable answer that refers to a rookie like me in coding nor I find a video tutorial that saws how to do that with html pages that are stored in your assets folder.
