Does anyone know of a software that has the capability to run programs with voice prompt?
Example;
If you run the voice prompt software, you can explore your phone without pressing any buttons on your phone, totally hands free.

Microsoft® Voice Command 1.6 is the best one I ever used it doesn't require any set up works with any voice as long as you’re not in a noisy environment or you cannot speak clearly. Just set a button and say a command like play music artist Peter Gabriel and it works! Also say call steve mobile or if you do no specify a mobile or home it will ask you.
I original bought my Voice command software at Handango.com

voice answering on trinity

Hi I m looking for a voice answering software, wich will enable to answer or reject phone call just by saying "yes" or "no" for exemple.
I had that function on my very old sony eicsson t68i.
It 'll be more than usefull in car with bt headset.
I ve looked the forum without finding anything, please tell me that application exist and I m too dumb to find it
thanks in advance, bob.
up
please
you and try search for "answering machine" think it's global for all htc devices that their hardware makes such an option imposible
I dont think bobcnsta is looking for an answerphone app, he is after a voice control of incoming calls, so when the phone rings, he can answer it by saying yes or no to accept or ditch the call.
Unfortunatly, I dont know of any programs myself...
yes that s exactly that dash8brj, I tried unsuccessfully voice2go, but it wasn t what I expected.
thanks anyway
bob

I'm not sure, but I think I remember reading once that the latest Voice Command (1.6) didn't support phone answering, only voice dialing. I guess because you need to press a button to activate listening mode, they just thought you might as well just press the answer call button.
I also remember reading about some incompatibility with the Trinity.
Voice command 1.6 works well with my trinity using AXL's WM6 rom, but doesnt have the ability to use your voice to answer a call, it does require a button press to enable listening mode.
Voice answering macine is impossible in Windows Mobile, because Microsoft designed it this way.
If HTC wish they could slove it.
I have i-teq X-BOND with windows mobile 5 OS, I have builting answering mashine on it which working very good. So I do not think there is limitation with Microsoft or Windows mobile!!
I dumped my original rom but I am not very expert to finding this answering mashine among other files in rom. if someone expert help me, may be it is possible to install this answering mashine into other devices.
P.S.: i-teq x-bond is similar to Gigabyte g-smart (64 MB ROM)

Voice commander - Silencing it!

The HTC voice commander, is there any way to stop it repeating what you said after you've spoken someones name or the application to load?
cheers guys
Could be wrong here, but I think it is prompting you to confirm that it has interpreted your command properly.
When I am making a call, it won't proceed until I have said "yes" after it repeats the contact name.

Start --> Settings --> Voice Command
(and FYI, it's Microsoft Voice Command, not made by HTC)
ok then cheers.
iv had a look under all the command settings and it doesnt say anywhere about turning the repeat off. With my command it beeps, then i say the name, then it calls. It doesnt wait for confirmation etc at all.
Doesn't cyberon have a program named voice commander?
I am fairly certain the original question was referring to Cyberon voice dialer. I don't think you would want to silence it since it is not always that accurate. It will repeat back to you what it "thinks" you said. This gives you the opportunity to cancel if it gets it wrong.
On the flip side, I discovered that if your phone is set to vibrate only, the speaker is turned off and the voice dialer is silenced... So there is at least one way to accomplish what you want.
My mistake, that does sound like Voice Commander. Not a big fan of that program...
Apologies guys, just checked the 'about' of it and it is Cyberon Voice Speed Dial.
Id still be interested in silencing it if anyone has any advice. I know its usefull hearing it back to you, but usually i say the name then lift my head to go about something else, only checking the screen top see if its a name iv had problems (voice) calling before.
That being said, are there any alternatives that are more popular? Iv had a bit of a look around but havnt found any other free programs that beat the standard voice dial.
Nothing free, but MS Voice Command is a good alternative. Cost's $40 or something like that but I am about to pull the trigger on it cuz Cyberon suks and has some kind of conflict with my bluetooth headset...
My vote goes to MS Voice Command also. I'm also rather fond of it repeating back to me what it's about to do, since it sometimes hears me wrong.
For people in the US on AT&T, the latest leaked WM 6.1 build has MS Voice Command integrated in to the ROM. Dutty used it as part of his Apr 09/16 release, so MSVC is already loaded and ready to go.
Is there a way to have the repeated command sent to the earpiece speaker rather than the speakerphone? I like to hold my phone up to my ear and forget sometimes as the speaker blasts away at my eardrum...
Been using it for a few days now and im starting to get used to the voice so guess ill just live with it.
Thanks for the help anyway guys

Sorry if I offended you by posting another poll, I see your Poll has 17 votes, while this one has over 50.
I was not necessarily looking for posts, but rather votes on which Voice Command ap should be used in cooked Roms.
Just one problem with MS Voice Command - announcing caller when it is unknown or a private number.
i havent used MS voice command yet...but i have been using cyberon and ive mapped it to PTT button and its very simple. Theres no way that somebody cant use cyberon its very simple voice software...u press the button and speak the command or persons name. Very simple software but i want an opinion from someone whos used both and chose to go with MS...whats the differences and i guess whats the perks of using MS voice comand because obviously it cost money an cybern doesnt...so why is it worth money?..somebody gimme an answer
Voice Command

MSVC is arguably free now that it has been in an OEM AND it doesn't use tags. I have way more than 100 contacts and I'd go bonkers if I had to voice tag them all. OK, it sometimes requires you are creative with your pronounciation (sp?) but I can live with that . .. .

??
How is this a problem? Do you desire that it say nothing, or that it guess or make something up? I don't get what you are driving at.
Isn't it rather an impossibility, that has nothing to do with the software's efficacy?
The beta of cyberon works better for me than ms, no tags needed but you can record them to make it work better.
Cyberon Voice Command
simple and easy to use, use your own voice recording instead of mechanic sounding TTS of MSVC...
MS Voice Command, for reasons previously noted.

create appointment?

sometimes I'm driving and remember something I need to do at home
I'd like to get my Kaiser and use some voice command like "create reminder in 2 hours: check bank account" or something like that
is there any software that can do it?
my voice command software is very limited

I remember seeing something like that on the Enterprise, Captain Picard would seemingly talk into thin air , and a disembodied female voice would do whatever he said, I can't remember what rom he was using though
For now you can link your voice recorder to button 6, though you will have to manually check it to remind yourself later.
LOL
Just to confirm, Picard was using voice recorder on his Kaiser. He used it to record all his Captain's logs as well.....
It's the best he could do..... and therefore perhaps the best you will Lemonhead.....
Good luck.
lol
I already expected to have to push some button before starting talking
but my voice command is seems very limited... I can only ask next appointment and things like that, but I can't create a new one

[Q] Is It Possible to Crreate Text Messages with Voice-to-Text?

I feel incredibly dumb asking this -
Is it possible to create text message text with voice input?
My Android phone always had a mic button on the keyboard to initiate this feature; which I can't find on the WP7 keyboard.
If I'm right and it's not possible on Nodo, is there a chance it will show up on Mango?
Before posting I checked this forum; all of XDA, my user manual and then Bing'd and Googled it as well and came up nil.
Any feedback is hugely appreciated - thanks!!
(EDIT) I just found out this WILL be a key feature within Mango..
There is a mic button for speech to text in 7720.68 works flawlessly!
Sent from my HD7 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App

Use a wired or a bluetooth headset and all goes to auto...
Read this.
Also just to clarify in Mango under settings, speech make sure enable speech recognition over the network is on. the very bottom option let's you choose when to use it via bluetooth is the default, but you can choose headset or all the time. basically it works the same way as voice to calling does. Hold down the windows key when the voice promt comes up say text then the contact, the robo chick will prompt you to say your message.
