screen brightness after video call

Hi all,
I notice that after pressing the video call button, the screen brightness will turn on to 100%, but not going back to my original setting (30%) after ending the call or just press the end call button.
So each time i have to go back to hte setting to tune down the brightness, is there somehow a registry tweak or what to fix this

Were you able to make a video call? in the US?

Here in the US too. My co-workers and I have the Tilt. We havent figured out a way to make Video calls yet. Let us know what software and network you are using.

Touch screen while in a call

Is there a way to disable the touch screen while in a phone call? The Treo 750 has that option and it is very helpful. When I am talking on my phone my cheeks presses different buttons and sometimes hangs up on me while in a call.
Can this be done? if so how?

Doesn't the kaiser have fast sleep anyway? I know S2U2 has screen off during a call.

I have been using S2U2 mostly for full screen caller photo ID, but I am now trying it to lock the screen while on a call too.
Question: is there a way to "wake up" the screen once it is off. How will I call up the keypad for entering PIN's or turn on the speakerphone?

vibrate turns off w/out reason?

the only change i've made to my tilt as of recent was that i added kaiser tweak. however, i've looked thru the xml & cant find anything that'd warrant my profile changing from vibrate to ring w/out myself doing so. I've been watching it for about 2 weeks now trying to discern the action i am taking to cause the change but can't put my finger on it.
so i apologize i'd liked to have known the origin for the change to give you more info. but this is basically all i know.
i typically keep my ringer on vibrate. for some reason it changes to the ring profile automatically and periodically throughout the day. the only change i've made prior to this issue is adding kaiser tweak and a trial for contra, however that has since been removed. oh, sorry, i did add phm regedit to the phone also, the only registry i changed was the PTT registry fix to add button 6, i changed them to voice dial and voice recorder for long & short push respectively.

I never had this problem before I upgraded to AT&T's 6.1 ROM. They added the PTT button to be remapped, but single push only. I did the registry change to remap a push and hold to Vibra Switch.
The problem I have is my phone keeps going to silent. I have to tap the volume control on the top of the screen to change it back. I can't confirm this, but it seems to happen when use SPB Shell's Now Screen phone profile to change to vibrate, but does not happen if I push and hold the PTT button and use Vibra Switch.

then it's prolly by my having done the reg edit to add the ptt button for long & short press...makes sense...but i wonder why? i cant say that it has to do w/ when i push it either, bcuz by doing it it doesnt force it to change to ring from vibrate. but i dont use spb tho either.
edit: oh yeah...i do use a BT headset, but its sporadically used & not correlated to the automatic volume changes.

I am having problems as well with my sound options after i upgraded to 6.1. I have not made any modifications to the phone except for the 6.1 upgrade. It is also having the problem with the backlight turning on for a second every now and again.....

I have the same problem after using my bt headset. It goes to silent.

Any update on this issue? I just upgraded my Tilt to 6.1 and I notice that it will automatically turn the ringer off and I have to manually select the automatic ring profile again

SMS doesn't vibrate when in stand-by with New ROM

I've installed the last ROM for my HTC Diamond. When I receive a new sms and the vibration is on, the PPC doesn't vibrate if my device is in standby, just if it's turned on. Is there a way to fix this problem?
I don't want to activate the vibration when on Ringing Mode, just when the vibration mode is active, like in the old ROMs

have the same problem, only thing to solve it is to activate the ringing + vibrate mode (a no-go) or to activate the wake-up on new sms (via diamond tweak) but this is no solution for me, too, because the device turns on then on every new sms... its the only negative thing on the new rom('s) but very annoying!

That's a good idea. I tried this solution and it works. Better then to be forced to activate the vibration + ringing mode. Thanks a lot

yes, but on the other side it forces you to use any screen-lock application or your diamond will going to have its own life in your pocket recieveing a sms... and when you do so, you will have problems using your diamond as an alarmclock and so on.. one thing leads to an other... i hope that anyone comes along with a clue to this really only 2.03-rom issue one day.

touch screen during talking

guys i have small problem. when am talking with my kaiser on phone the touch screen touch my ears and press the hold or end call. is their any small utill or any option that make the screen closed during phone call?

you can activate fast sleep through Schaps Advanced Config or Kaiser Tweak, if you want! that should put the phone to sleep after you answer a call.
