Status bar & rotation problem - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hi everybody!
I have been having such a kind of problem for quite a while with different ROMs and I was just wondering if there is any solution to overcome it. The problem appears when I launch some any full-screen application and after that open or close keyboard. The status bar with the start button appears on top of this application and it just disturbs me and dosn't allow me to use the controls on the top of the screen. Thanks a lot for reading and replying to this thread.

Moved as not ROM Development..

Sorry for putting the thread into the inappropriate section..

How do you get Today Apps starting from the bottom?

Hey guys.
I love this forum and have had a great experience with everyone I have talked to so far. Thanks a lot.
I have not yet found a cab to remove the bottom title bar which usually has touch functions for the two soft keys, calendar and contacts. I am trying to remove this bar, does anyone know of any cabs that can accomlish that? I have only found a cab so far that removes the top but not the bottom.
Also I wanted to know if a program that can place items on my today screen starting from the bottom like an iPhone or LG Prada. I see many people on the Today screen post have that feature but I have yet to find the post where the program or method exist to perform that task. Thanks for your help guys.

For your first request, you can accomplish this with either of the following:
1. Vijay ToggleToday at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=243211&highlight=vjtoggletoday This allows you to toggle the bottom bar, top bar, or both. The latest version does appear to work on WM5 and WM6.
2. Wisbar Advance 3 - this is a commercial app that has a primary focus on task management and skinning your top bar; however a side benefit is the ability to remove the bottom bar.
I have no idea on your 2nd request. Good luck.
thanks for your help with the one issue I am having. appreciate it.
I tried installing Vijay ToggleToday but it could only clear the top menu bar and not the bottom. Have you got this to work on yours? I am currently using WM 6.1 and I think that might be an issue.
Is Wisebar a free program?

commercial app = not free
@Brianlau
Not your fault as a new member, but the matter you raise is not what we consider an upgrading (for which read "development" ) issue. We are currently considering re-naming "Upgrading etc" to something with the word development in it so it's not so confusing.
I will move your thread to the regular Kaiser Forum and leave an expiring re-direct here in case someone is in the middle of giving you an answer.
Cheers
Mike
I just got the app but am unsure which menu or settng you need to adjust in order to remove the bottom section of the soft keys. anyone know?

Additional icon in pragram launch screen

as title, how to increase the total number of icon in program launch screen.
the screen after press the start(windows) button.
Currently is 24 icon.
Anyone try this before?
This has been asked and disscussed about.
Something I had recently discovered apart from the search button at the top of the page is that, you can search within a forum that you are in.
Say I am in the Topaz ROM section..... Above the firs Thread/Post on the right hand side there are some tabs. One is says "Search this Forum" or "Search This Thread". I have found that useful. Just freindly advice.
Other than that I will answer your question with a yes you can add an infinite (to my knowlege) amount of tabs through a registry hack that I and other have discovered. Well the only problem is that it will not allow you to add a program/App to any of those new tabs. So in other words.... I'm afraid no you can't. For now.

[Q] Hide or remove navigation bar on JB 4.1.2

Hi der,
I have flashed a minitab rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1968561 on my note . Everything is working very smoothly as it should be. It is really a greate rom, thanks to the developer. Since my note already have a back button and a menu button, I really dont want to waste my screen space on some so called navigation buttons. Its really anoying. I have tried to apply couple of solutions like editing the build.prop as it is suggested in the thread. But it seems not working. I really don care to loose the accessibility of the mini mode buttons from the navigation bar.
So somebody please help me with a real solution to either disable or to hide the navigation bar for this particular rom. Thanks in advance
PS: I post this query here because I am a new member to this community and they don't allow me to post on the main thread.

If I understood your problem, you installed a ROM that works in tablet mode, showing you the menu, home and back keys on the bottom of the screen. To solve this you need to change the LCD density in build.prop: ro.sf.lcd_density. The default density of the Note is 320 dpi (ro.sf.lcd_density=320), what puts you in "phone mode", i.e. the bottom bar doesn't appear. Try changing that on your build.prop. Search the forum if you don't know how to do that, because a mistake could leave your device in a bootloop. Other options you have is to flash a different ROM.

Xperia T - can you hide the bottom keys (Home / MultiTask / back)

I wonder if there is any way to hide the bottom fixed keys. For example when browsing would be good if it was possible to auto hide the bottom Home / Back / MultiTask keys? It would give back quite a bit of screen space by removing the black bottom bar
Is it possible?
Heh, it's about 5 threads below this one.
Here.
Closed. As said above it's already been worked on and in future can you please post any questions in the Q&A forum.
Thanks
AvRS

Menu button issue

Hello yours,
some apps displaying the menu key into the navigation bar. Some tweaking tools also offers an option to show these menu key generally. So far, so good. But when I touch on these button, the recent panel will be opened - every time. A restart changes nothing... I'm currently on V07.
Has anyone a solution for this?
On a german forum (android-hilfe.de) I found the same issue posted from another user, but these thread is still without any answers.
Many thanks in advance
Dan
It must be a bug in the official rom.
I use a tool called "menu button" in google play, it works well, if correctly configured (I do not show any menu, but I use the menu button in the notification bar of this app).
Waiting for a correction too.
