All links pulled due to XDA Request after an XDA member complained I was only out for profits to a moderator on a few products I have. Due to the fact I link to a product or two and a few other things in many videos, I was asked to pull any content relating to this.
I will still be offering all this great material at my website. Just go to google and search for MobileTechVideos.

If anyone has issues, verify with www.megaproxy.com to determine whether your ISP is the issue. I've seen this happen off and on.

You're not going to be able to just install them, because they're system apps. Gotta use a file explorer like Root Explorer and move it to /system/apps, then do a reboot.
Sent from my Captivate.
So any feedback on this stuff?
Due to popular request, the /system/lib directory package can also be found at the link above.
I SEARCHED and tried a couple of mods and tweaks, but I kept getting boot loops. Its for the newest version of CM7 Final. If someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction,it would be greatly appreciated.

Here, this should work. I don't use CM7, so I wasn't able to test it. If you have any problems, just let me know.

I'm well aware of the uot kitchen, but I prefer to use apk manager. I've had mixed results with uot, and find apk manager to be easy to use. Also, I don't have to "wait for my turn."
Exactly! I didn't know how much the OP knew about apk manager so I didn't post instructions on how to theme the framework-res.apk to have a circle battery. But hey now the OP has two options

Since you had quoted me in your post, I assumed you were directing your reply to me. Perhaps if you had quoted the OP, your intent would have been more clear.

That is true 808bill. Well since his question is answered now I'll be leaving this thread, no need to spam it with off-topic post, I don't want to get into trouble. But nice talking with you though 808billl.

Hey, I had a similar question as the OP. I was wondering where I could find the circle battery mod for the latest aosp 2.3.3 GB ROM (4/29). Do you mind maybe posting a step by step tutorial on how to use APK manager to do this?

Thanks! Unfortunately, it looks like I can't use it because I'm on a mac.

The very first rule of XDA is to always search before asking anything.
Or you could just open your eyes, as the post directly below yours had the word RADIO in the title :banghead:

It's no possible by now to instal LG FM RADIO crying on custom rom..it's do not works because missing framework files dependecies and probably also lib files..
You can test, you must copy apk in system app ,set permission 644 and reboot..But the app do not launch anything,it's no work..
So i think that it's simple to use the great spiritfm that works very very well, also with rds and other features..

As is constantly said, installing any of the vendor apps is almost impossible on a custom ROM as it requires the vendor framework which is protected by copyright laws.
Thanks everyone for the answers. At least now I won't spend any time trying to make it work:0)
Q&A for [XAP] [Source] LockScreen App
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [XAP] [Source] LockScreen App. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Hello. Check out my live lockscren insipred by typophone style.

Btw which one? ARM, x86 or AnyCPU
I'm running it on emulator so I'm using x86
If you want do app for all devices, you have to select "any CPU" option.

Yeah I know but emulator is running only at x86 platform as I can't test this on phone, Lumia 1020 actually.
I'll upload ARM and x86 versions in a few minutes.
Give a file, we check him (I have Lumia 1520)
Here are files:
x86 version is for emulators.
There's probably a lot of bugs.
Special thanks to user -W_O_L_F- for providing his LockScreen App and source code
THX and one moment pls, I will check that

I don't understand you, could you explain me what you mean?
Sorry for my bad English btw.
My app uses:
ID_CAP_SHELL_DEVICE_LOCK_UI_API
so I think that is reason why you can't install it on device., emulator is working fine.
Will there actually be some good news?
I would at least like to run those 3rd party apps on my device (Lumia 920).
Is there a way for that CAP to be enabled via registry hack or something?
How to enable that CAP in Visual Studio?
Since this is very interesting topic, I would like to hear how's the progress.
Those caps are enabled via registry hack, yes (go read up on interop-unlock and capability-unlock/EnableAllSideloading). However, we don't currently have a way to do those registry changes on stock Lumia 920 phones (or most other Lumias) unless you're willing to disassemble your phone and use some moderately expensive equipment to access the Flash storage directly.

I can only be sad right now. Do you maybe know if Microsoft is going to put that CAP in the near future in the SDK? Shouldn't it be there with Update 1 SDK?

I tried it on Lumia 1020, doesn't work unfortunately :/
I believe they will release it very soon. I'm just wondering how other live lockscree apps work on phones if CAP is still locked. For example last Microsoft's Garage app Tetra Lockscreen is working perfectly, same is with original Rudy's app.
If I had to guess, I would say that those apps get privileges with updates that we recieved as "Critical updates" or some other updates.
I made another lockscreen with some some android style:
