HTC Weather as standalone app? - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible to have just the HTC Weather Application running without Manila? I only want this nice looking weather program without the rest of the interface.

Is there really no such thing? Or some other app that just uses that nice HTC Weather Animations?

Wow, thanks..looks perfect in the video..i will try that.

Have you considered SPB Weather? It's available as shareware and I've seen it as a panel on the Sony-Ericsson website, though that one may be only for the X2...

No SPB Weather is just ugly..not even close to the looks of HTC Weather.

Mixing Technology! HELP?!?

Ok i just have a real quick stupid question about apps. I have a copy of SPB Pocket Plus http://spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/?en that I LOVE but i cant really stand there SPB Weather app. So i bought the app Fizz weather http://www.fizzsoftware.com/products/weather/weather.html
(which is awesome) but i dont really like it taking up my so much of my today screen, so i was thinking that the obvious solution, SPB Pocket Plus allows you to customise your tabs, would be to make a tab for Fizz Weather. Thats how it shows up with SPB Weather. Well I cant figure out how to do it and i thought that maybe sombody out there might be able to help me. Im relativily new to PDAs and i dont know much.
BTW i do not like Fizz Moniter so i dont think thats an option pluse it doesnt offer the tabs like SPB PP does
Thanks for any comment that might be made

HTC Plus for Hima

Does anyone know if this is working for Hima?
I've installed it but couldn't get it to work, but that could be because of other progs installed.
Please always use programs from the Himalaya section of this forum. In case you like experiments plus the calculated risks involved please remember where you found your downloads and include that link in your questions.
IMHO, one program that is run very well in hima, big possibility can run properly in other HTC device but not on the contrary. We need modification
You are right Maggy....

I see the HTC Plus! tab and the folder, but nothing to show on my Today screen. So I switched back to the HTC Home.
Just curious, can anyone tell me what kind of soft is this ? and how it look like
@ selangkahlagi: look at rvdrijt's link, there are screen shots. Nice analog clock with counters for missed calls and such and a row of launchers.
Can be easily simulated with any analog clock freeware plus PhoneAlarm skinning. PhoneAlarm would actually add a lot of options that are not available in HTC plus. Did I mention that I'm a PhoneAlarm fan? It is soooo powerful, small footprint and skinable to anything you like. And there's a PhoneAlarm skin competition. My current PhoneAlarm skin looks like HTC Home, my previous skin looked like a mixture of LG and Iphone.

HTC Home Weather + Vista Sync

Hi All
Just starting out with my Kaiser and have a complaint which is not directly related to the Kaiser. Why can I not synchronise my Kaiser with the new applications "Windows Calendar", "Windows Contacts" in Windows Vista using the Windows Mobile Device Center? Very annoying. Have had a quick look around and it really seems as though it's not possible. Apparently, I need to be buy Outlook. Very, very annoying. Has anybody heard whether Microsoft are going to fix this or if someone's working on a 3rd party app to do this?
2nd major gripe is the Weather section of HTC Home. Used to use SPB Weather on my old Wizard but really like the HTC Home Weather; big weather icons etc. Bit annoyed that it can only hold weather for one city at a time but my biggest issue is that is only seems capable of using the American site Accuweather. I'm in the UK and the ability to use, say the BBC's weather would be much better. AccuWeather doesn't seem to be very accurate for UK weather. Does anyone know of a way around this?
Thanks and regards,
J

I with "J" on this one I would like to be able to display UK weather
Outlook (v2003 I believe) should be on the CD that came with your phone.

Looking for today plugin app launcher.

I am looking for an app launcher today plugin. It must be a today plugin because I want to install it inside ultimate launch. I am wanting something other than just the plain icons on a grid that ultimate launch allows you to do. I love the functionality of the programs such as itask but I don't like the iphone look.
Any suggestions?
battery status
SBSH ilauncher
I have tried SPB PocketPlus too, but that didn't play nice on my old HTC Universal so never bothered going past the trial period and haven't tried it on the Kaiser since ilauncher works so well.

This place has a very very very customizable today plugin that do pretty much anything you want and then some. go through their forums. It's easy to start, but I got soooo addicted to tinkering with it. try it, and if you like it, let me know what you end up with.
how about claunch? http://pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=808
Ok I am trying out SBSH iLauncher. Does anyone know how to put PocketBreeze inside one of the tabs?
why don't you just use the built-in one ????
