I was searching answer for my problem but i didn't find one...
The problem with the G1 is that when turned off and connected to the charger the LED glows red (charging), but never turns green (fully charged). I could charge the device all day but there is no change...
Strange thing is that when the device is turned on - charging is ok... indication is ok, the phone finish with "charged", battery status shows 100/100
I tested the battery in another G1 and charging (when device was off) finished with green light and of course i switched the chargers and everything was ok...
Im not sure if it is SW or HW problem... or if is there any solution than returning...
Thanks for any help...
Wipe battery stats from recovery and see if it helps.
Good luck

Hi all,
I am running CM7 and I noticed that my Nook was charged to 100% but the LED on the charging cable was still showing orange. Have you guys seen that? If I charge it overnight, the orange LED will go away eventually and I'll see the green LED in the morning. Is that a bug in the code?
Thanks.
You can try to wype battery stat cache trough recovery.
Do it when it'svfully charged (green led)
Just Reboot
That usually works for me.
yeah I think there is a small area where the battery says 100 but it's really not full. I've noticed this too and watched it as it charged...five or so minutes after I noticed, it turned green.
Hi,
After using my phone all day yesterday it went down to 15% battery so I turned it off and put it on charge using a mains charger. When I switched the plug on the LED went red and I assumed it was charging the phone.
Got up this morning and the led is still red and the phone won't switch on so I am assuming it didn't charge properly, have plugged in the usb charger and am now waiting to see if the light goes green once charged...
Any ideas why the light was red if it wasn't charging, and why it is still red this morning, does it do this when the battery is low and the phone is off?
When the phone is turned off and charging, it will be red. When the battery is enough (not full), it will boot up to a charging state.
All you will see is a battery with a green bar across it.The led will now emit, yellow/red.
Not sure what the problem was but I'm guessing this phone cannot be charged correctly with a mains charger so I will stick to using USB chargers connected to the mains, once I switched to that charger the phone started charging correctly and the led went from red to orange to say it was actually charging
It is not good to leave your phone charging overnight.

take a look at this article. I have been following these steps and even till today my iphone 4 battery operates like the day I first got the phone.
Hi, first of all sorry for my bad english.
I just bought Motorola Moto G 2 and i tried to start it - white LED lights and the device isn't starting, i thought that its normal that the battery isnt charged because its new phone. I plugged charger and it showed me that battery is about 50% charged, and when the charger is plugged phone starts and works normally, when i unplug the charger phone still works (havent checked for longer time but didnt immediatly turn off, just worked), but when i turn phone off and try to turn it on again LED lights like its discharged.
I tried charging to 100% and unplugging, doing reset but still the same. Only works when starting with charger plugged. What should I do? Is there any solution?

If the led is lighting up for just a moment, you didn't hold the power button long enough. If device is not starting up even after pressing power 5-10 sec.... customer service
So one morning I woke up and saw phone keeps rebooting(bootloop).I had breakfast then came back to pick it up,and i connected it to charger and phone was totaly dead.I tryed other cables but still same result.Only way to power it on is when I use original cable and connect it to charger/pc.Then red led turns on and display showing low battery, and led keeps blinking.Sometimes it can boot into system and works for few minutes and shuts off cuz 0%.I changed battery but everything is same,I also can go into TWRP.
**I TRIED EDL MODE/two pins or whatever and my PC is not showing Qualcom driver or anything else in relation with phone
i had same issue before, i simply just buy new cable and it working again!!
PS. Before i buy new cable i already had 3 type-c cable bot non of them working
I had the same issue an hour ago. My MI5 had ~25% charge left when I saw it shutting off, maybe I unknowingly did it. Then I decided to leave the phone in TWRP at night but in the morning it appeared to be dead. The red LED blinked only when I pressed the buttons, no turning on, fastboot or booting into TWRP was possible. When I plugged it into the charger an empty battery icon appeared with the red LED blinking continuously. After some time a new animated battery icon appeared, in the still turned off state, but this time showing the exact charge percentage (2%). It went to 3% and I turned it on with the power button.
Should be a faulty battery which needs to be replaced!

I'm trying to revive my old HTC One M7. I had issues with charging it so I bought a new battery
from Aliexpress and installed it. I powered it ON and the battery had about 30 precent in.
Then I proceed with unlocking it and installing LineageOS 16 so I can run Android Pie on it - everything
went smoothly, but the phone still seems to have charging issues. When I try to charge it the Red
LED light is blinking repeatedly, on the screen there's a battery logo in the center but it doesn't show
any indication battery is being charge (it should have some Green color in it to show charging but it doesn't display that).
After few minutes the blinking Red charging LED turns off and nothing shows up on the screen.
What could be the issue here? Should I try to replace the charging connector? Or could it be a problem with the logic board?
I tried to do the power button + volume up + down to reset the charging logic but it seems like the device is not responding to this.

Led light error is very common in m7. If it charges then don't worry.
