Is it possible to have a short-cut and set to certain button for:
setting - today - connection - USB to PC
I ask this is because I have to switch the device between
work with "Activesync" and work as "Hard drive" very frequently.
if there is a one-button movement to get "USB to PC" setting screen
immediately, that will be wonderful!

You using WM6.5 ? It can prompt you to choose which mode you want each time you plug in a USB cable.
what i am searching for is usbtopcpopup.cab from htc ??

I don't know if this has been posted before, but I found this tip on another forum.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Phone
- Create new dword value
- Change the value name to "Flags2" (no quotes).
- Select the 'hexidecimal' button.
- Type 10
- Click ok.
- You should now see in the 'name/data' section:
- Flags2 16 (0x00010)
Now when you are connected to GPRS and click on the bubble on the task bar, it will show a disconnect button to disconnect and show duration. Or, you can press and hold the red hang up button for a few seconds and it will disconnect as well.

The only way that I have found to connecting is through a program that automatically connects (ex. weatherpanel) or GPRS Monitor from SPB. It allows you to connect with a single tap.
I'm using GPRS Monitor to do that, but that's such a small icon to hit with my finger. It works great for the Wizard too.
Yeah, I hear ya. I prefer having the option to connect from the connection bubble on the taskbar like in WM2003. Hopefully it can be brought out by a registry setting like this.

I'd like to know how what to do to active the 3G button in Com manager?
Indeed, I've made this button appears in my HTC HD, thank to Advance config tools (based for Diamond at the beginning) :
Advanced cong tools -> menue -> more parameters -> com manager and then choose 3G instead of Flight mode.
But in Com manager, I can't disable the 3G button, because when I click on it, it changes of colour (because I clicked) but nothing else...
Is something to do in the registry? I've got reg edit task manager to do something into it.
Can someone help?

I broke my screen, replacement is on the way, but in the meantime my phone is stuck on vibrate.
Would someone please either post screen shots of the start menu, settings menu and the wireless manager?
OR
Just a walk through of getting to the wireless manager from the start menu
and then the position of the "speaker" sound on button when selecting using
just the direction pad.
Like:
Start Key
Up Twice to select settings
Up key to go to tabs
Right twice to whatever settings tab
Down twice, right once to select wireless manager
Down three times to select speaker....
I realize that this is a long shot, just thought someone would be a good mood that has the AT&T stock ROM.

Note: this method records on screen activity but it drops frames especially in games

I found this way to capture it but requires connecting phone to pc
Install DroidExplorer on your PC from here http://de.codeplex.com/releases/view/96251
Enable USB debugging From Settings -> Developer options in your phone
Connect your phone to PC
Start DroidExplorer and doubleclick your device named as serial number
in the program window press Screencast icon (android icon) (it requires java)
press run in security warning
now you get the phone screen on your PC press record button and you'll get your movie

As said before by kiwi45(since you didn't answer his question) see if you have "Owner info" enabled. This can be found in "Settings -> Security -> Owner info".
Taking screenshots of the lock screen is real simple, use the Android SDK, enable USB debugging on your device and use the "capture screen" option in monitor.bat/sh. (included in the Android SDK)

Press and hold the power button + volume down button for about 3 seconds. Then post the screenshot here.

arghhh i am mad. i went factory reset earlier on. haha. and yes indeed the owner info was enabled even i factory reset. i guess i press that while i am driving. haha thanks b1nny and kiwi45
