Hey guys,
I just got this phone for my bro to have fun with and I'm having trouble with SDA_ApplicationUnlock for doing the HardSpl.
When I open the application, and click "REMOVE LOCK", it says phone is unlockable, but then it says successful after.
However, in the end, it doesn't work. I tried to flash with a different splash screen and it wouldn't allow it and stayed at 0%.
Any help would be appreciated, but I know this is an old phone.
Thanks!
p.s. sspl-0.91-wings.exe doesn't work either when I click "continue" on my phone. Not sure if it depends on the app unlock
I forgot to mention I got this from HONG KONG.
I know there are fake HTC phones, but I'm not sure how to tell if this one is fake.
After the "Windows" green splash screen, it has a splash screen saying "Mobile Operator" with a logo. It then goes to the home.
anyone please?
maybe a "incentive" will be given?
anyone help appreciated...
I have the same prob, mine freezes after i try to run sspl on the phone.
Doesn't look like anyone knows how to fix this.
Mine was bought in Europe.

Since we have no idea what this "unlocker software from some other site" does, you better ask the guys at "some other site"..
Hello.
I also have this problem.. Did some one have a answer to this problem?
I made a search and find more people with this problem, but still with the problem..

I try to unlock diamond gsm with Diamond Unlocker.exe that is to use with CDMA version
I hit Next, Next, Next until it got to progress bar it stayed on 0% then jumped to 100% and said that my device wasn't compatible or something like that, at that point the image on the diamond faded to black screen. I already try to boot in 3 colour menu but nothing happens(volume down+power+reset)..
When I plug it to pc nothing happens
does any one have any idea?
Best regards.
I live in Australia, and have a Telstra branded Diamond, although it is unlocked ( i use Optus Sim card) anyways i was hoping to install unbranded cooked rom found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=422417
I didn't know I needed to install HardSPL, i tried but it failed so i continued on (i know I'm retarded) so i tried using the Diamond Unlocker.
I hit Next, Next, Next until it got to progress bar it stayed on 0% then jumped to 100% and said that my device wasn't compatible or something like that, at that point the image on the diamond faded to black screen. I This happened when i tried Hardspl but i just hit reset and it turned back on alright.....this time it didn't, it doesn't react to the power button at all, iv tried hitting the reset button, booting into boot loader even though I'm pretty sure it doesn't have one, and tried MTTY which I'm pretty sure it pointless because my diamond doesn't turn on.
Please share any knowledge or ideas you have on how i can fix my Diamond, or where i can send it to be repaired (I have no warranty with Telstra by the way)
Is my diamond bricked for life?
EDIT: In the hope that my Diamond will return to life by holding the power button, i have noticed i can still feel the vibration it usually makes when turning it on although NO DISPLAY

Thats the only problem, i have already thought of this, although i don't have proof of purchase anymore, can i still get it repaired without proof of purchase?
ANY Replies or ideas are appreciated, please HELP
I would contact them without a receipt you may have to pay for the repair
but I don't see why they should not make money of you repairing your broken device
Thanks for the reply, my question is, i bought this phone off a friend and knowing him he got it from someone else who probably has stolen it, so if i take it in for repairs and it is stolen I'm screwed....right?.....are they able to I.D a stolen device?
Thats what you get when you buy a stolen device. You'll pay it back one way another.
I guess but for $250 who wouldnt take it. I guess i should have read ALOT more instead of rushing a flash. So last question, does anyone know if its physically possible to fix the phone, if it be replacing a bit or get a technician to hardwire or something......is it possible? or am i stuck with a nice new paperweight?

I think its a case of what goes around, comes around.
Hey
I have a similar problem. But mine is bought and original and I have a receipt. Anyways, there's no way around the sending, is there? Because, I think, it'll take a lot of time and regarding the fact, that the mistake is on my side, the warranty is void, isn't it?
Hi guys, I was installing a radio update I believe, and my g1 stopped booting up. It is stuck at the "T-mobile G1" screen and I have tried holding down camera+power and home+power with no avail. Please help me out because I really need to use my phone soon.. Thanks.

softbricked. You either installed a wrong radio, or the dangerspl.
Pray you have warranty. If you don't, go buy a new phone.
while it IS possible to fix this problem, i have a feeling it maybe way over your head (typically is if you even have to ask) but it involves a method called JTAG, and booting the phone into its Blue light (AKA security) mode, by holding down the trackball....
your better off trying to get it replaced under warranty (while the ethics of this is questionable), or just buying a new phone....
if your feeling ballsy or just want a hell of a project, a thorough search on google of "JTAG bricked G1" will give you the info you want, id give you the links myself but its not for the faint of heart, and if your not willing to go after the info then theres NO WAY you'll succeed.
if buying a new phone is more in your line (and i guess wallet) then go ahead a post your phone for sale on the forums (disclosing its bricked status of course) and someone may be willing to buy it off you as a project (or for parts)
UPDATE: ive also read a few posts that XDA member EZTERRY has been known to JTAG phones (for compensation of course) send him a PM (no more than one, remember we all have lives outside of the interwebs right??????) but hes in Canada, and it will involve shipping your phione

Still hangs at "Tmobile g1" screen as I said.
Hi guys. It's been a while
I have a Stellar that is displaying a white screen with blue buttons, like a phone dialler, and is prompting for a password to unlock. I have seen this once before on another Stellar but it's been so long I've forgotten what to do. Does anyone have any ideas how to get round this or get rid of it without doing a hard reset?
I don't really want to lose the data as it's not my device. If I have to rebuild I will but wondered if there was a quick fix for this?
Basically I can reset or switch off and it goes through the O2 splash and then the WM splash too....then this dreaded bloody screen pops up! I initially thought it was an issue with the SIM so I rang O2 and had them check it, all is OK that end.
I've stuck another SIM in and it still does it, so I'm sort of thinking it's hardware? I've also tried various combos of numbers to try and bypass this screen. All I can do is ring 999 which is not clever or funny.
So, I'm all ears. Cheers guys!
Oh, and if you need to know, it's the standard O2 ROM over which we apply our company build using spbclone. Don't know the version but it's not running Home Brew as such - our clone is basically tweaked user settings and GPRS settings
I think the first thing you need to do is to unlock your phone. Search here or they are many sites that will offer you a good deal to do that.
Have you try a hard reset? just to double check. If you see the unlocking # prompt your screen again you will need to unlock the phone.
Unfortunately unlocking is not an option. As no-one else has posted suggestions, and you guys were my best bet, it would appear I'm going to have to re-image it. Poo.

Good Luck then
Hello everyone, I am from India and My HTC One is rooted, unlocked and international version.
I am in an urgent need of help as I am not able to figure out what has happened to my HTC One M7 and due to that don't know what to do next.
So all this happened last night, that is, 20th of February.
I have Insertcoin-7.1.3-REPACK-M7_UL_L50_SENSE70_MR_HTC_Europe_7.19.401.2 ROM with Elementalx kernel, installed on my device.
I was uninstalling few apps from my device, during the procedure it started to hang so I had to restart it then again I continued uninstalling another app or the same app if it didn't uninstalled due to hang. This hanging thing happened for about 5 or 6 times as I was removing so many apps! So I restarted it for about 5-6 times and after uninstalling all the apps that I didn't needed, I opened avast antivirus cleanup app to free up the space covered by junk files. and during its procedure, again my htc got hang and I again tried to restart it and since then I am not able to switch it on, the only response that I can get it after pressing the power button, it boots upto the HTC logo then nothing happens! and when I tried to go into recovery and install a fresh rom, I easily get into bootloader menu and the volume key works fine as navigation but as soon as I tried to go into recovery by pressing power button, it hangs, I also tried to do a factory reset from the bootloader but same thing, its hanging. And when I plug it in charger, the led keeps blinking. I don't know what's wrong and what to do next. I have learned a lot from XDA, I hope you guys can help me out! thank you in advance.

is your phone detected by your computer when its booted in bootloader / fastboot usb mode (check in your Windows device manager).
If you can , post a screenshot of your device manager with the phone connected and booted in bootloader / fastboot menu)

Yes I know what it means, unfortunately. That basically mean you can throw it in a garbage can
QHSUSB_DLOAD can happen for known 2 reasons
You flashed an incompatible firmware and right after that it went it this mode - recoverable
It randomly went in this mode = hardware failure - unrecoverable/must replace the motherboard.
Since you were experiencing hangs when playing with files, I guess this is confirming an hardware issue, maybe with the EMMC.

Damn! That's sad to hear, I think that the reason is the second one only because it's been few months since I have been using that ROM and KERNEL, and It was working smoothly, not even a single error occurred ever. any idea about how much does that motherboard cost? I bought my HTC for 43,000 INR in August 2014, that too the single sim version and currently dual sim version is coming for 24,000 INR so I am not in favor of investing a huge amount into it.
Don't Change the motherboard

Hey there,
Even I had the exact same issue(out of country device-stuck at boot screen-unable to enter boot loader mode-no solutions give above works)[/B] from the last one and half week. I gave the mobile to the HTC service center and today I got a call telling that the mobile's motherboard has to be replaced and since it is a out of country device, the change will cost INR.16,500
And so I told them to return my mobile.
So don't go for changing the motherboard and best is to try some alternatives like selling or repairing by ourselves.
Some one if you feel that there is way for this issue PLEASE post it. It will help us a lot........
Please guys IT IS URGENT......IT IS HELL WITHOUT A MOBILE U LOVE

Hey! Thanks a lot for sharing your issue with me. I am thinking to first get it checked by the service center and let's see what they say and how much amount they ask for, I am in a favor of only investing 2-3k, not more than that. If they asked for more than 5k. I'll order motherboard directly or manage it from somewhere and will get it fixed from some local shop.
I love my phone but don't wanna invest much as I already have purple tint issue and I was thinking to get it repaired and now I've an another issue which should be fixed first.

Ive seen some MB replaced for around USD 150-200$ so I wouldn't expect to get it repaired under 5000 INR
You can find a motherboard for the international variant around 95$ (6500 INR). Cheaper MB (around USD 60$) like the Sprint and Verizon variant won't fit in your phone. If ordering a motherboard online also make sure it was not salvaged from a blacklisted phone as the IMEI# is tied to the motherboard so if you change your MB you'll get a new IMEI and you don't want it to be blacklisted. If you never repaired a phone before then expect some more fees cause you will most likely broke something when disassembling it, like a lot of ppl did.
