Known issues:
01. There no internal integration beetween Comm Manager and Wifi, cos Different Driver beetween Wizard & BA.
02. Sometimes System complain about missing Pimg app (I've strip them out, cos its useless , fix is below PIMG)
03. When BT On, IR On, WIFI On, ActiveSync On, the tray might flick.
04. Some help file and Some Silly Picture/images has been strip out from the ROM to create space for more usefull app.
Tips:
01. Disable Sound (Sound & Notification >> Events) might help system speed.
02. Disable Sound in phone (Phone Settings >> Keypad >> Off) might help phone speed.
03. Backup ur PIM with active sync first (Contact, email, etc) before u upgrade to AKU3.0 if u upgrade it from old rom (anything below AKU3.0 ROM)
been use it for 4 days now... seems stable...btw its still beta, and might be not suitable for daily use, input is welcome...

For anyone download before please re-upgrade ur ROM with the newest one, since the previous AKU.3.0 has a critical bug. (missing files)
Please read the readme file, I dont hv time to update Wiki page, I think the information in Readme file is enough to flash ur rom and since no 'real' extended rom so no further preparation is needed, but u might consider to make ur old Extended_ROM size to 128kb to make more storage space for ur device.
Btw The EXTROM folder is included Indonesian GPRS/MMS Setting, if u not Indonesian just delete it and change with ur county/region setting CAB, just follow the ilustrated method on the Cfg.txt/Autoconfig.txt file to make changes that suite ur need.
With the Global Contacts Access plugin from Microsoft U can use the central/global exchangeserver address book. (Thanks to xdaradar for the info)

I've just installed the new rom and so far so good. Installation went smootly, active sync is working (and much faster then on aku2.3).
The first thing I notived was the option to SKIP the moving of the appointment during the start-up. This has been something that has annoyed me a lot. Finally the option to skip it .
The other thing I have noticed are the soft-buttons: They are not assinged (and default to "active sync").
Other then that, it looks good and I will start to install some software now.

hmm... try this 2 cab... install OpenCert.CAB first if it still cant, try the FinalCert.CAB then. If it still cant.. I'm confuse then.. or send ur cab to my mail at [email protected] let me try it.

Helmi you rock. This ROM is quick, and works flawlessly for my needs. AS is super fast and the new look of the icons is pretty neat.

Okay found a problem. Pocket Hack Master 3.33 won't install. Says "Critical Component Missing"
Never had this before. Tried reinstalling it several times, no go. What version of the .NET framework does this ROM run?

Not a lot to say really....
...except, absolutely stunning!
Everything works first time that I have tried, Pocket MSN, all the Apps, even WiFi in Comm Manager (Clicked on 'Settings' within Comm Manager, turned on WiFi... worked off the bat, and switches on/off no probs!)
Off to take a look at the A2DP... don't expect too much, no matter what I did with AKU2.3 it wouldn't start the service... but I'll give it a shot )
Off to rebuild the server under the stairs as an Exchange Box to make the most of the Push functionality !
Edit: EtenPack Call Filter doesn't play... 'Cannot open 'PfUi'...' not an issue, I can use an alternative!

Superb job helmi - really, just an excellent ROM.
I have two (minor) issues with the push email though;
Each time a new email arrives I get an alert (with sound) along with a preview of the message - in the AKU 2.3 ROM you did I would get a silent notification just saying 'xx messages unread'. I much preferred the older type of notification.
Spam is now appearing in the inbox - even though Outlook has filtered it into it's junk mail folder - again the AKU 2.3 ROM didn't do this.
Is this AKU3 standard functionality now or are these settings we have some sort of control over?

spkr4thdd, I would be interested in knowing how you got ur exchange server setup, something I have been thinking of doing myself. Any chance of a tutorial or walkthrough/tips? Probably best by PM. Thanks.

Cooking Windows Mobile 6.5 - Problems and Questions

I decided to start this Thread because every "new cook" here is trying to cook a good wm6.5 rom. But there are still Bugs and Mistakes.
I solved some Problems and i still got ones.
maybe we can all share Solutions we found so we can cook a Rom with as less bugs as possible
My Question here:
In the new 21501 build there is the runcc package. I didnt want it so i deleted all the related files and initflashfiles-entries and coked in the checkautorun, autorun and sdautorun (for UC).
In the initflashfile i created the shortcut of checkautorun for the startup folder. But after flash i got : "Theres no Application associated with checkautorun" (or sth. like that) i recognized that my autorun file was deleted due to it was cooked in windows directory.
So my Question: How can i get the normal Autorun thing work?
/edit. because none reacted i tried myself in imitating god. i took a ridge from adam and created eva out of it. i.e. i took some files from the older build and put them in the newer one.... exactly all the OEMdriver files and some OperatorPKG files... will see it it helps

Runcc is needed by quite a lot of HTCs apps, as a background process.
it's also how they are starting to do the initial customizations..

It's also one of the reasons why roms are getting quicker..

Runcc is also in the X1 roms...
as I said some software needs it to be able to run, it appears to be a file parser.

What a pitty. Looks like no one is interested in sharing Solutions and asking for them.
Seems like all the newbie cooks stopped cooking (haha expected that).

I'm still cooking my little roms I deleted the cc thingy too and had the same error at startup. I just ignored it. Would also like to know how to start the autoinstall at startup, still learning.
Did you manage to assign the right softkey when you're on the clock to htc comm.manager? I got the standard winmo comm.manager right now.
I looked up the regkeys and there's only the left softkey assigned...

I dont work with Runcc anymore ^^ Changed back to 21500 because of that.
As I dont include the HTC Comm Manager in my ROMs that wasnt a bug for me. But i managed to get the Bubble with the Comm Manager Link working like i want --> it refers to winmo comm manager (wrlsmgr.exe)
This Button isnt assigned in registry because its changeable (with new titanium tab there comes a new link)
I think we have to look for the solution in titanium itself.
I've searched through the titanium 800x480.cpr but there was nothin about this

I just checked out the new, updated Chome editor and it seems that you can change the softkeys with the app now.

You should also check out the new fave people panel. Pretty awesome stuff.
Personally I use wm 6.5 as my main os now and it just rocks. Just love the new and lite home/titanium. Great job from microsofts side.
There's also the known weather panel and an opera panel.
Also looking forward to see new panels coming.

BETTER (and easy) SOLUTION FOR COMM MANAGER NOT BEING LAUNCHED FROM THE TASKBAR ICONS:
Drop this tweaked commmanagerlink.exe file into the OEM/OEMDrivers folder

I noticed all REGs and DLLs were pointing to "commmanagerlink.exe" instead of "wrlsmgr.exe"
I rebuilded the wrlsmgr.exe file and renamed it to commmanagerlink.exe

1- Copy SEMC*.gif (from R2A) into OEM/OperatorPkg or OEM/OEMDrivers
Write a provxml file to associate it with the starupanimation engine
2- Add the StatupAnimatonEngine PACKAGE to your OEM folder
Piece of cake
PS: If you dunno how to mke a xmp or provxml, get "fileoperations.xml" from R2A base ROM, edit it with NotePad, delete all the other shizzz (but preserving the xml structure !!) and drop it into OEM/OperatorPkg, then invoke your custom "fileoperations.xml" from config.txt (XML: /Windows/"fileoperations.xml")

I had tried this before, but I didn't do the steps in the right order and ended up not being able to run Manila. I had to hard reset. But now, I made a backup of the original files (just in case) and I followed the steps in the order I described. It worked perfectly.
I'll attach the ORIGINAL dll files (these are from Dutty's Leo Holy Grail R0 Manila2.5 ROM) in case someone needs them.

I tested several WM 6.5 + Sense Roms and now stay with MaryOne x0.04.
One big con of all roms i tested the past 2 month (different versions of Dutty, MaryOne, PDAVIET,...):
I couldn't get AVRCP working in any of them for another player then Windows Mediaplayer (and i rather like to use S2P or Manilla build in player).
I already searched and found some cabs wich should solve the problem but none worked for me. (I tried the attached files, but one even broke my BT function and i had to hardreset - probably this one was for another win version)
The problem seems to be the BT driver of the new win 6.5 roms - but others also mentioned about wm6.5+m2.1 works so im not clear about where the failure is.
As this is one of the most important features of my HD i realy need a solution to this.
Anyone knows how to solve this? Or at least another rom wich will work?
As this seems to be a general problem with many roms i didnt post into a rom thread.

I have the same problem. As I tested before, win 6.5 with manilla 2.1 didn't work for me either. So, I've decided back to win 6.1 because this feature is very important for me too.
Could anyone find a solution please? Which 6.5 roms are able to support this feature?

sometimes music player of HTC is stoping to play!
In parralel of this Bluetooth commanding or not the Manila music player, I have another issue:
some times the music player is stoping to play (it's very often and as result, I can not even finish playing one single music!)
Do you have this issue and if yes, any solution?
I have this issue mainly on manila 2.5 roms: LIA 2.5, Leo V3, Miri, ...

Y- also had this problem - thought is cause by some other program...
but also could be a rom prob - in my case it stopped after 4:50 when I watched it once.
Well will try LostSeries now - as its reported to work with avrcp will also check for this prob and report.

You only need to follow the instruction in the link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=568142&page=9).
Remember to change the registry settings, I had the same problem as yours because I didn't change the registry setting <Sence> to 'TouchFlo 3D'. It works after registry changes and just copying the two manilla files to the windows directory, and don't forget to disable manilla before the process.
What ROM are you on? I can try it out for you.

Hello folks, thanks for this fix, I'd love to try it.
unfortunately, I'm stuck.
I disabled htc sense through the today settings screen, tried to replace the dll files, but the manilatoday.dll refuses to be replaced, deleted, renamed, whatever.
even after softresetting, using totalcommander, resco explorer, or trying through the usb connection, NO GO.
could somebody shine some light on this problem?
I'm using the December 10th Energyrom with Sense.

HELP! Missing Icons after different times of use!!!

now that I tried different ROM´s and still having the same problem I want you to ask for help.
I´m using the German Touch Pro 2 unbranded Hard SPL´d and with the ENERGY ROM (It´s the third ROM I tried). I did the Task29 when I flashed the last time, so this is not the solution for my problem:
After several hours of using the phone some icons in TF3D are missing. Even the weather on the home screen doesnt work and all I can see is a white box (see the attached screenshots). All i can do against this is a softreset.
Does andybody know how to fix this problem? Before using the ENERGY ROM i tried another from xda-dev which had the same problem. Even when I use the original WinMob Rom from the HTC Homepage the Icons disappear.
I hope somebody can help me, because I begin to dislike my phone for this

What programs did you install? Try hard resetting and don't install any programs. See if it helps.

I´m only using the programs which are integrated in the ENERGY Rom. I just installed the Marketplace and one or two marketplace apps.
Tonight I will install the new Cookie Hometab Energy Rom and will this use for one or two weeks without changing anything.
Anyone else with an idea???

Use B&B Tweaks (tools folder) and set the glyph to maximum. Maybe that will help.

[APP]HTC SENSE on our X2

Hi everyone
This is port of HTC SENSE 2016 from HD2 leo for samsung devices with some fixes from me to work on our devices. Thanks to bigboss and all another authors of cabs I'm using in this pack. I'ts just a first step of porting htc soft to X2. I will continue with working on porting htc software to our devices and I hope with your help It is my first attempt therefore be patient
NOT WORKING:
still not working mylocation service, but will be fixed soon
footprints not working
twitter not working, but will be fixed soon
INSTALLATION
MAKE BACKUP of your PIM
HARD RESET your X2, after reboot SOFT RESET your X2 and chose "NO"
download pack from here http://depositfiles.com/files/fzakgzhm4
unzip archive and you will see 5 folders called as installation steps copy them to your storage card.
1. STEP(OEM SE Cabs)
install multifix_x2 cab. Replace another cabs in this folder by your language cabs
and install them. soft reset
2. STEP (additional cabs)
Here is some needed cabs working with X2 install them if you need and soft reset
3. STEP (NEEDED cabs to install)
step by step install all cabs and soft reset, than go to start menu, open msm7kcpuspeed, move scroll to maximum and enable settings on startup(without it sense will work very slow, just try it with and without and you will see deference)
4. STEP (SENSE main cab)
put your phone to AC charger, disable sleep from power management on ac and install cab. It will take about 1 hour, be patient. After installing soft reset.
5. STEP (Fixes and CHT)
unload sense from "today settings". Step by step install all cabs. soft reset. enable sense
HAVE A NICE TESTING
P.S please post here every bugs you find, i will try fix them

Hi, did your X2 camera button working, because after using HTC sense my camera button no longer launch the camera application and slideview not working as well..

you tryed another version of ported sense different from sense I'm trying to optimise. My version work perfectly with non english lang, for example I use russian and have no bugs with languge

now testing CHT1.8.5 works perfect without any bugs. CHT editor 1.8.5.1 works too. In sense not workin my location service, I'm trying to get it working.
Cabs and tutorial will be released in fryday evening. Just wait
if somebody have phone canvas wvga please share ) I have trobles with it

Cookie still isnt working for me
I installed 1.8.5 and it says "There is a version mismatch with Cookie's home tab"
Can you post instructions? I tried patching it with the .reg.
EDIT: NVM, got it working.
