I got it - I got it!! In a few minutes, I´ll flash it, and then I give it the hole program of my usual tests. It´s good to have a second Hima for such a case.
I thought of leaning to cook myself but athers and swampys cooking lessons stuck, so this is the right thing to fill my long summernights.
I try to give some infos how things are going asap.

\Speicherkarte is still \Storage Card so some changes have to be made to install some progis like: sclcp++ and ftouch. Adding contacts is working in This ROM!!
After soft-reset you have to change to german keyboard again everytime.
Screen Rotate-fix and serialusbfn.dll-fix is missing and has to be added by yourself via cab files.
Sorry i found no working Hima-version of large titelbar/start menu as it is working in my old German ROM by teijalk. If someone has got one Please send me a link I miss it.
I installed jbed and Opera Mini german and made it Default Browser and it works like hell -- super fast and stable.
Don´t know why but I can´t install a running version of Sprite backup, maybe my fault.
Still don´t know what "Verwaltete Programme" are.
The comm Manager/Verbindungsmanager in teijalk´s ROM is in German and looks nicer.
After Screen Rotade Fix you can´t align the touchscreen without deinstalling the fix, but no prob.
No way to get SDK working. Well I don´t it - so it´s nod bad.

Too bad that ather is stuck in his cooking lesson. This ROM is worth to be improved and recooked.
Sorry swampy395, after ten years of en-lesson in school my skills in your nice language is still to bad to understand your readme files 100%. But to cook a working ROM, I think, you have to know it for sure what your are doing.
I keep trying to go your way to recook, till I know what´s your way to use your language.

HTCHome.v2_1_1005722_s0-alldevice_ger.cab is working fine, and
emunutz HTC Home customizer v1.o (HHCv10Final.CAB) does a great job.

I noticed the HTC network wizard does not work automatically, you have to start it by yourself and choose your network.
Complaint:
Please don't change the "natural" entries in the program menu. This causes all sorts of problems, e.g. with the Contact and Calendar buttons.

Well - that´s what it´s for!
Enter your network operator (you should be aware which you use) and the wizard does the setting for GPRS a.s.o.

Nope. It's supposed to recognize your SIM card and choose the correct network provider automatically, see other roms.

Rom Update not successfull ...
Hi ... I'm new in installing ROMs on the XDA (especially on my T-Mobile MDA-II), so please excuse my noobidity.
I've tried to install this new German-Rom and use the included HimaUpgradeUt_noID.exe to update the ROM of my MDA - but with no success. (Message after a while: "There has been a problem while updating your Pocket PC")
When I try to install the latest released T-Mobile MDA ROM, everything works fine.
I also tried to install the new nk.nbf with the HimaUpgradeUt.exe which is included in the working T-Mobile Package, but as expected I get a Country-Version Conflict Message.
Any Idea how I can install the new ROM on my MDA or what I have done wrong?

you were getting this error on WM6 because since WM2003 you cannot directly update the ROM, you have to Enter Bootloader...but its good that you helped your self

I uncompress the first one but .nbh disappeared few seconds after.

hum... i just this rom. it is not fast as current cooked roms or official roms listed here. maybe because it is still beta. the interface is very good, i like it. but the application launch is a bit slow, generally take 1 or 1.5 seconds. screen would freeze up sometimes. current wm 6.1 roms can launch apps instantly.

I am just flashing now my device: I'm really curious to check the new user interface also in CHS.
I am also wondering the reason because it's still a beta1 when this new 6.5 should be really coming...

I installed it yesterday spb mobile shell works fine in english
but camera and video do not work on this rom error to open camera exe
I will flash back to my cooked rom

Rhodium Dialer

Hi guys,
i am sorry if this is not the right place to post my question, but could someone explain if it is possible to extract the Rhodium dialer from the relevant ROM and covert it to a cab for installation on a stock ROM?
I appreciate any answers as i am new to this but would be interested in starting to play with ROMs.

just copy the needed files from the oem folder and use wince cab manager to build your cab,
if you know how to cook that is.

Well, I made a CAB out of my OEM package, please download it and install it, then try adding the rhodium dialer or other manila apps, and please report
If it works, it would be a great achievement for non-ROM flashing users of our community

I'm using stock NAM R2A. Looks like gtrab has kindly uploaded another version, so I'm going to give it a shot.

Pack 1 doesn't allow to install Rhodium conm. But pack 2 does. Its work perfectly. Even I can install TF3D like WC Rhodium packet, and easily switch back to Today (like in wm6.1). Gtrab, much appreciate.

Still not working on mine (X1a NAM R2A). Maybe it has something to do with previous install of Yota contacts? Anyway, thanks gtrab for your contribution.

gtrab: I WAS able to install HTC voice recorder, so this seems to be specific to the rhodium dialer, at least on my phone.

Here is the latest Rhodium dialer not sure if it is what you are looking for (see screenies attached here) as I havent read the entire thread...
I have extracted from my rom release to avoid you to download 100MB :

I had tried this before, but I didn't do the steps in the right order and ended up not being able to run Manila. I had to hard reset. But now, I made a backup of the original files (just in case) and I followed the steps in the order I described. It worked perfectly.
I'll attach the ORIGINAL dll files (these are from Dutty's Leo Holy Grail R0 Manila2.5 ROM) in case someone needs them.

I tested several WM 6.5 + Sense Roms and now stay with MaryOne x0.04.
One big con of all roms i tested the past 2 month (different versions of Dutty, MaryOne, PDAVIET,...):
I couldn't get AVRCP working in any of them for another player then Windows Mediaplayer (and i rather like to use S2P or Manilla build in player).
I already searched and found some cabs wich should solve the problem but none worked for me. (I tried the attached files, but one even broke my BT function and i had to hardreset - probably this one was for another win version)
The problem seems to be the BT driver of the new win 6.5 roms - but others also mentioned about wm6.5+m2.1 works so im not clear about where the failure is.
As this is one of the most important features of my HD i realy need a solution to this.
Anyone knows how to solve this? Or at least another rom wich will work?
As this seems to be a general problem with many roms i didnt post into a rom thread.

I have the same problem. As I tested before, win 6.5 with manilla 2.1 didn't work for me either. So, I've decided back to win 6.1 because this feature is very important for me too.
Could anyone find a solution please? Which 6.5 roms are able to support this feature?

sometimes music player of HTC is stoping to play!
In parralel of this Bluetooth commanding or not the Manila music player, I have another issue:
some times the music player is stoping to play (it's very often and as result, I can not even finish playing one single music!)
Do you have this issue and if yes, any solution?
I have this issue mainly on manila 2.5 roms: LIA 2.5, Leo V3, Miri, ...

Y- also had this problem - thought is cause by some other program...
but also could be a rom prob - in my case it stopped after 4:50 when I watched it once.
Well will try LostSeries now - as its reported to work with avrcp will also check for this prob and report.

You only need to follow the instruction in the link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=568142&page=9).
Remember to change the registry settings, I had the same problem as yours because I didn't change the registry setting <Sence> to 'TouchFlo 3D'. It works after registry changes and just copying the two manilla files to the windows directory, and don't forget to disable manilla before the process.
What ROM are you on? I can try it out for you.

Hello folks, thanks for this fix, I'd love to try it.
unfortunately, I'm stuck.
I disabled htc sense through the today settings screen, tried to replace the dll files, but the manilatoday.dll refuses to be replaced, deleted, renamed, whatever.
even after softresetting, using totalcommander, resco explorer, or trying through the usb connection, NO GO.
could somebody shine some light on this problem?
I'm using the December 10th Energyrom with Sense.

The best news recently!
I have "tasted" the 6.5.2 update of X2 in some phase, I really liked it. I'm sure the 6.5.3 update combined with manila will make X2 to become the most comfortable gadget for my personal needs.

for any other file than english you need to rename all 409 files to your country code
this will display english mesages !!!
if you want native language you have to translate yourself

I don't know if my problem has anything to do with FW revision (R1AD006).
First of all somehow registry import didn't work for me, only some registries were imported out of all I can see in the reg files. Then I made cabs of them and installed and all of them seemed to appear.
After this I was very happy when sence appeared on my X2! But then the problem came: in every 1-2 seconds the empty today screen blinked in.
I did a soft reset, then a hard reset and installed it right after again. But didn't solve the problem. And noticed that after maybe one minute the blinking turned into pulsating, empty today appeared more frequently but for lot shorter times.
I don't know what can cause this, any idea?
As much I was able to test it it seems to be quite fast!

First of all somehow registry import didn't work for me, only some registries were imported out of all I can see in the reg files. Then I made cabs of them and installed and all of them seemed to appear.

1.import patch.reg
2.reboot phone
if is not working try
1.backup HKLM\Init
2.delete lines with xkey,panelmanager,SlideView
i am using it on 006 for 2 days without any glitch

How meny of you have installed this on your X2.
Im trying and trying, but it looks like im mising something.
I have copied ewerything under the windows folder
and i can find only one reg entery calld manila.
What to do?
I realy wana make this work.
Help!!!

Try to install these.

The bkinking still occurs after pushing slide view key once or twice.
I have other issues also but before sharing them maybe I should try patch.reg but it doesn't work.
Error message comes "line 302 - unsupported DirID 1" (HKCR) and line 234 in HKLM.
Besides it's very good feeling to have manila on X2. Now I won't feel to change back to X1 every now and then.

Hello, is possible to make/upload a cab for installing manila?
I am not sure with registry skills and copy and paste files to Windows folder is impossible with no free space message. Thanks

First I had to uninstall some apps when i tried it before hard reset. I don't know if you use SE User Guide (it's 4-5MB) or pixel city panels.
I am not an expert at all either, only trying to discover registry things, just managed to make the attached 2 cabs of jerpelea's all.reg and manila.reg and manila works after installing them.

I encountered some problems in the People tab.
When I click the All People button Manila restarts, the same thing happened when I click Updates & Events in a contact...
Is there any way to solve this?

Same here. i have problems with people tab, media tab, music tab.
Manila resets every time i try to change something + i cant import pictures or music files.
how to fix this unstable state of otherwise great MANILA!!!

you need to copy all packages and install regs
not just 2
