But after a day my device got hang/crash..and if im soft reseting, it'll going to hard reset automatically. day after, im trying to flashing another ROM, but same problem appears.please i need solution for this..

Flash stock rom, hard reset, then custom radio if you want and then custom rom, hard reset. Try if it works.
If not, you have to use mtty method, search it!

Quick Question... hard reset & hardSPL

iv just hard reset my phone to clear off all the programs & rubbish id accumulated over the last month of having my phone. When i hard reset it, will i have cleared hardSPL etc, or am i alright just flashing duttys rom again straight away?
cheers guys
anyone? thanks
Everytime I´ve made a hard reset with a custom rom it has stayed there and the HardSPL as well. If I´m not mistaken you will not go back to stock rom because you´ve overwrtitten it with the custom rom and thefore the custom rom will boot up again BUT with all settings, installed programs and other changes you´ve made cleared. So if you had Duttys rom and made a hard reset you will still have Duttys rom.
I reset the device by going into settings, system and then clear data and afaik it has reset it to the HTF default, cant see any mention of duttys ROM. Also noticed the phone to be much much slower.
is it likely to be the HTC ROM or duttys ROM that im currently left with?
hardspl stays... thats why its called hardspl. it resists hard resets.
thanks for the response, just what i wanted to hear!

no problem may i recommend kaiser wiki? so u can learn more about ur device.

Diamond system repeatedly falling.

I have problem since I try to find new good ROM. I don't know exactly the root cause, but every time when I flash the ROM it's stable maybe for one or two soft reset. Everything is normaly installed on device. After soft reset it seems like new loading of new ROM. And going around around. I try instaled many types of ROM and also radios. But any combination is not stable.
I aslo try hard reset many times, but it's not helpfull.
It seems like some old file, which is not deleted during flashing ROM and doing mess in the new ROM. This start after instalation ROM Gen.Y-Manila_v2.1_VGA.
But as I written it doing after instalation of any ROM.
Could you please help me?
I think its fixed. If you have similar problem you can go here.

Flash stock or mtty?

Hi guys
Sorry I did a bit of a search but not getting the answers I want to know.
When flashing between cooked roms when I had my hermes i used to hard reset > flash stock > hard reset > flash cooked >hard reset > hard reset
With my diamond i just hard reset > mtty format > flash new rom > hard reset.
I am new to Blackstone and am now trying to figure out do I need to flash to a stock rom or can I run mtty before flashing a new rom? is this not needed with the Blackstone/Touch HD?
Thanks for any info

If you flash any roms, you should always do a hardreset after flashing.
Thats it,
and to Boost your Touch HD use HD Tweak or Advance Configurator

sometimes i hard reset, sometimes i dont, i never experienced any problems, never could find an answer why we should hard reset after flash, since when flashing a rom , a new one dont leave any of the old stuff left. Dont know so much about it but i suspect its some superstition involved
anyhow, it wont hurt to do one just in case
I normally just flash and then hard reset (just to be safe and because the chefs often say to do so) I have on the odd occasion just flashed and not hard reset and that also worked fine for me.
I see however that a few frequent flashers have been experiencing problems and the suggested fix for this is as you used to do on your hermes, ie first flash to stock and then to cooked rom again. I have never had to do this (so far at least ).
To be safe I would just hard reset after flashing and only if getting funny errors that others aren't experiencing then I would consider going to stock first before again flashing to cooked.
+1, would agree with ClydeB1, after each flash I would generally perform a hard reset before automatic configuration takes place (generally by removing battery, re-inserting, and then hard reset). I have heard people say to perform 2 hard resets, but I have never experienced any improvement doing this after testing on many roms. I have however at times noticed a slight responsive improvement after one, but not on all roms.
I have never had to reflash stock before flashing cooked roms, but I do know people who have done, though this is only if problems occur.
Only reason why I have ever had to reflash stock was when I had a upgrade rom code error, BLAC100 stays in bootloader caused by flashing process stalling half way through, and this has only happened once and I've flashed 100's of roms
Thanks for the information guys!!

ROM Problem

Hi all,
i have a Problem, i have insalled a few roms, and with every ROM i got the same errors.
i Cant install CABs - always installations faild
when i disable some Tabs @TF then touchflow hang up, i have to reboot - then it freezed to, then i have to clear intern memory and cutomize it again ...
When i try it again, the same ****. I have treid 3 ROMs, always the same ****.
Has anyone a Hint for me?
Mmmm...
Isn't that the definition of insanity... repeating the same things, expecting a different result?
There are two things you can do here. The first one works for me every time I get crazy, random behaviour from a ROM. The second, I have never needed, but apparently it works wonders. I am, of course, assuming that you hard reset your device after flashing ROM's??!!
1. Flash a stock ROM from HTC, hard reset, then flash a custom ROM of your choice, then hard reset again. This will solve a million issues and then some.
2. Search XDA for MTTY. Don't ask me what it does, or how it does it, but it also cures a load of issues like yours.

Phone keeps freezing

Hi. I flashed several different roms and still the same problem. Everything works perfectly until after a few hours when I try to open a program (irrespective where its installed i.e storage card/internal) it says "The file cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found", then as soon as I soft reset, phone freezes at boot screen. Have to perform hard reset and the same thing happpens all over again. I have removed micro SD and still having same problem. Please somebody help!

Yes please read
maybe try to do
1. hard SPL again
2. flash stock ROM
3. flash radio
4. flash custom ROM
these procedure seems to fix a lot of weird problems for people on the forum
I personally tried Valkyrie 5.7 build 24001, very very stable.
Now I am on 5.8 build 23534, got SOD sometimes
hope this can help you
thanks will try. if that fails i'll just brick the phone and send it in for repairs while its still under warranty.
