Call Waiting in Android (Donut/Eclair) -- VOGUE - Touch CDMA Android Development

Hi All,
I was wondering if there is any head way in regards to call waiting functioning properly. I haven't seen any posts on it lately, and therefore I am wondering if it is I who is out of the loop

I was unaware this did not work. What happens?
This would be a RIL issue.

Hi,
It could just be me....but on my vogue, when I accept the other call there is no way to return to the original call (to my understanding)....

Same. Or maybe I just don't know how to do it

works for me, I just press menu then "Hold" and switches between calls

Works for me. I just use the hardware send key

If your on sprint they **** you over with call waiting and 3way and such. call waiting works but not all the time, and it's not done by the handset, it's done with sprints servers, as far as the handset is concerned it's only one call. I have no idea how to do 3way, or if you even can.

how are you trying to add a call?

Tried a few different ways. In CDMA you usually just dial and hit send. That does nothing, then I tried the option to add and that disconnects all. If you have the right way to do it, please share.

Autolock

I was wondering if there was an Autolock feature that can be added onto our phones. What I mean is if I answer a phone call on my BT headset and I end the call my phone is in my pocket going through things. I would like for it to just lock back up right after a call has ended. Is there any cab out there to allow this or something?
Maybe you should try PocketShield.

[Q] [Help] Making it shakes when calls are established

I hope you guys get what I mean. I used to have a Samsung Android and it shakes when calls are established. It didn't shake when I was waiting for the other side to pick up the call but it shook once at the exact moment when the other side was picking up the phone. Such a feature delays the contact between my head and the phone. Some people told me that the radiation is strong when the phone is on the 'calling' status. I don't know if this is true so I'd rather believe it.
Is there a setting in our LG Optimus Black for enabling such a feature?
Are you on a stock ROM? If yes, em sure that its not available via stock ROM but maybe there is some app out there that can work for you.
If you are on CynogenMod 7, Yes you have that function built-into the ROM. Look into settings, call settings, vibrate on answer

Thank you for your reply. I have the option you mentioned checked, by default. It does not variate when a call is answered. Does it work for you?
Yes mine works. I am not sure if it has something to do with haptic feedback or not but you should try to enable it too, maybe that helps.
Maybe you can use an app called CallVibrate
Works exactly the way you want on my OB.
Hope that helps.

I use it myself as a daily driver, with no problems what so ever.

Sorry for keep you on wainting.
Unfortunatly, kk124 needs a root phone as you will have to change your phone kernel to kowalsky kernel. =/

TaskerPro Call Divert/Revert?

Hi Guys,
Have seen the posts on call forwarding using the call #21* etc but Ive been too scared to pull the trigger in case i call forward but then cant cancel later.
What im trying to do is - when my "A" phone is near a particular bluetooth signal have any incomming calls forward/divert to my "B" phone. When it is no longer near (or that particular bluetooth is switched off) is have the calls come back to my "A" phone.
I see call Divert and Revert. Should i use this? I also get very confused with the exit task, ow to create and is it a seperate profile.............. or task?
If anyone can give me a step by step I'd be really grateful.
Thanks guys

I can explain this. It's a quite simple tasker operation I just did with a friend. I guess you didn't receive answers either because it's quite basic but mostly because tasker Qs are normally asked within the google groups forum/reddit.
Let me know...

Not receiving calls (SM-N950F) on T-Mobile

I bought this Note 8 (SM-N950F) in Amazon.
Sometimes when people call me I dont receive the calls nor notifications...they go directly to voicemail.
I'm in US using the same T-Mobile SIM that I've used with my two previous phones (they worked perfectly).
I'm aware that this is not a US model but I'm able to make calls and receive many calls, I can use 4G too with no conectivity issue.
But sometimes I dont receive calls and that worries me because that'd be a big deal in case of an emergency :/
I've searched on the web but have found no solutions. I will really appreciate your help guys

You can just search "tmobile apn setting for [your phone]" on google and it should appear. I found mine and I did it but still cant make or receive any calls. I think they messed up my SIM, Im trying to figure out how can i contact them cause i cant even call them.
I will keep you updated with any solution or idea

I still have the same problem. Have you found something?
I'm able to make calls any time, and receives calls sometimes...but I recently noticed that when I'm not receiving calls, I just make a call and instantly I'm able to receive calls...so, I'm pretty sure it has to do with the phone app going to sleep.

I went to TMobile and I got a new SIM too....still the same issue. But let me know if it works for you anyways.
Like I said, I'm sure that what's causing the issue, is the "phone" app simply hibernating, but I don't know specifically what's the name.
If anyone here could let me know what's the name of the app that controls the cellular activity, would be great
