Wow when life couldnt get any crazier

Well I normally dont bring my problems to the site but this one is big. I was on my way to my dads when I got a text from the girl I have been with that says she thinks she might be pregnant! Now the first thought I had was that she was screwing with me because she likes to do tht when im not all in my head if you know what I mean. I have already been woried because I am going in for an MRI early tomorrow because I seperated my left shoulder for the 8th time. I have already had surgery on this shoulder and they already know there is a chunk of bone the size of a quarter broke off and floating around in my shoulder. She knows all this so im thinking she is just screwing with my head trying to get my mind off my MRI but then I discovered she was serious so i proceeded to call my best friend since kindergaten and started talking about it to him she hasnt taken any tests yet but she has been reallly moody and stuff lately so idk but its only been about a week since we have done anything so I dont know just needed a place to vent and some advice. Oh and yes I did protect no matter how gone I was I know I did things safely.

yea I know but we are both in the tenth grade so its kinda hard to do that.

You just go to the chemist and buy one, any doctor in most countries are obliged to treat you in confidence so I wouldn't worry to much about it.

well i just heard about it on the way to my dads i might be able to do something to help find out something in the afternoon

I'll try to share some of my experience
-There is a small chance that you get pregnant when using a condom.
-My ex thought she was pregnant at more than one occation without being so.
- Sometimes the menstruation can be a little off with women, making them worry if they are pregnant or not. This is often caused by using Birth control pills that can set off the menstruation cycle by more than a few weeks.
-You can't know until you take a pregnancy test, you can get from the apothek, chemists, drugstore or whatever you call it. Try and discuss with her before she takes the test what you will do if this or that happens. There is always more security for both of you when you know what the other will do.
At your age, parents can be like a nightmare, but at the end of the day, they normally only wants what is best for their offspring. So they might fly up in scared anger at first, but then they will be supportive after a few breathers...
Remember, all grownups have also been horny teenagers at one time, even though they would never admit it.

what country do you live in? In the US you can get them at any drug store over the counter.

thanks for all the replies and we will talk about getting a test its only been about a week since we have done anything and I did protect so it should be ok.

My mom wants to go there for a trip. Possibly New Years or June for sister's birthday. I've read somethings from google on other forums, but the newest is from Sept, and next is Feb of this year. I'm wondering if a tourist can go anywhere besides the French Quarter to sight see. And if so, do we really have to take a cab everywhere? Not safe to walk. That's what I read.
Honestly, I don't want to go. I don't want to babysit 3 drunks while I'm missing my girl. But I'll tell her your answer whether good or bad.

why ever leave the french quarters its amazing! every time i go i either walk or take a cab and ive never had a problem. once i park my car i never see it again till i leave to head back north. i know this is not much help sry

There is a lot to do. But I can only tell you what NOT to do. LOL
If you go to Pat O'Brien's don't drink the hurricanes like they are coolaid. They taste like it. But they are not!!! You will regret it.
Don't go to the bar The Dungeon. You might see things you can't unsee. Like midgets dressed in leather crawling into a hole in the wall to another room.
Did I mention NOT to drink the Hurricane's at Pat O's like they were coolaid?
You can always do the swamp things. Also there are a lot of historical places in NO. I hear. All I found was Bourbon Street when I was there. I was always within crawling distance of the hotel. Stayed at a nice historical place called Hotel St. Marie just a half block off of Bourbon St.

EDIT: I never took my car out of the Hotel garage. It is safe in the quarter to walk. Make sure you know the boundaries though. It turns to crap REAL quick if you venture outside the boundaries. That is in the immediate area of the quarter and other parts of NO are nice and safe.

Huh, well thanks guys. I'll let her. If I go, I want to see some good bands, and things I like 85gallon was talking about. Idk about them. She found a place a block away the French Quarter on airbnb.com owned by a couple gay dudes renting their apartment out for 160 a night. 3/2 with upstairs balcony. Seems pretty cool.

I'm in British Columbia, (West Coast) Canada. Stuck with a Motorola Milestone, that I'm about to flash CM6 to. Yes I said CM6, because CM7 barely runs on it.

Stuck with a crappy iPhone 1, which doesn't receive texts, and doesn't receive calls half the time. I need a phone... badly :/

I live in the UK... woke up at 5am Tuesday morning. Had auto refresher on while playing a game. Saw it go live at 8:12am or near it and tried to buy it for about 50minutes.
I'm stuck with the HTC wildfire cause I returned my SGS3 1-2months ago.

OK... But what I'm interested in, is people who actively tried to buy one from the Play Store in a supported country, and could not. You are correct that many people exist in the world who had no choice.

I was on the site exactly as it changed from "coming soon" to "add to cart", but didn't manage to secure an order within the 20 minutes of it being on sale.
Extremely frustrated that now I'm not going to get the phone till next week at the very earliest.

Had in my cart the second was available, but fkn errors would prohibit the purchase, either items disappeared from the cart, google wallet would hang and then give out an error, tried 5 times, then it went out of stock... WTF GOOGLE THIS IS A MAJOR ****UP...
PS: Didnt sleep until 3 am and woke up at 8 to make sure I get the phone only to fail because of google server issues **** THIS ****!!!

Had it in my cart so many times and every time I pressed by I got an technical issue error message, so frustrating...

Some of us (BeNeLux) will not get the phone at all! Don't complain that you could not get the first batch, there will always be second/ third and so on...

I woke up at 8 to see if they were for sale. I tried around 5 times to buy. On the 5th time, i got one, due to be shipped on the 15th. Only took me maybe 10-15 mins?

Has anyone ever thought about how deeply society is effected by cell phones?

Too many of my friends now days will freak out, almost have a complete meltdown if their phone is lost or broken. I sit in public places such as a restaurant or a bar and its unusually quite. I look around to see why, and nearly everyone is busy messing with their phones. It may be the way of the future, but a miserable one if this is the trend. Kids no longer play with one and another, but chat on social media, even finding a date that way. When a kid gets mad now days he just deletes you from his or her "friends". If you told anyone twenty years ago that you would one day have a device that tracks your every move, records what you say and what ever else it hears, can recognize faces, knows who all your friends are, knows your feelings and opinions, knows your deepest darkest secrets, and could be easily accessed by almost anyone and here's the kicker.... not only will you pay for it, but you would buy the device willingly, even as a gift for others. You would have told some one they were crazy. So maybe we a crazy for owning such a device and making it the center of our lives, even so far as not being satisfied with it in its present state, but further modifying it....... Just a thought.

Cell phones and instant messages / texts
well, how about this then? Have you ever thought what it would be like if we could at any second of the day tell anyone else what we thought of them? If we were mad at them we could just let them have it right there and then. um, ya.. Twenty years ago if there was a girl you liked you would have to go and talk to her. Ya, you could call her on the phone but then you would either have to use the phone in the kitchen or grab the cordless, but only might last for 20 mins or so. Now with texting and instant messages of all kinds you can send any comment off any time you like. A couple girls I know told me (each at different times) that on any given Friday afternoon they could get upwards of 50 text messages, all from guys, all generally sexual in nature. 50 guys! All asking if they can have a piece that weekend? Sad but true, and I live in a small town. Thats not all, say you've already got the girl, say you have an argument. Used to be you would have all night to cool off, maybe think things through... Now you can continually fire off messages, texts , email you name it. Bury the poor girl in literature... Dig yourself a hole so deep your never going to recover... Wasn't like that before. Poor girls can't get a break from us now. Now we are all reduced to basically somewhat the same, just another animal looking for sex. it doesn't matter how smooth you thought you were being - she didn't even read it! you were number 21 of 50... and you know? When I asked her if she would like to come over and what she wanted for breakfast I thought I was being cute. Ten other guys asked her the same question...

Just another thought. If, lets say, you don't believe me... All I ask is that you ask one girl today. Ask her how many texts she gets from guys that are either borderline unacceptable or downright wrong. Especially right before the weekend or even late at night. Do you do it? I know I have. I didn't realize the impact it could have.... Just ask.
