Hi i have been looking for a DUAL Sim for some time for various phones. And i just traded in my Kaiser in for a S730.
I am looking for a dual Sim that is capable of rendering both 2g and 3g.
As i am from the UK and have an ORANGE UK sim card and a HUTCHINSON 3G UK sim card.
I can seem to find one that will support 3g (UMTS) to its full potential.
Any help
I've got this http://www.dual-sim.nl/ and it works fine
Hi, how can i see if my phone is a CDMA version?
Is o2 german version
could you help me?
thanks
Hi found this:
"If you open the battery cover and you don´t see a place for a sim card then it´s a CMDA phone,CMDA phones dont have a sim card slot"
Is it right?
Please help me
Yes, that is correct. CDMA is the network that your phone connects to. If there is no space for a sim card, then it will not work on a GSM network and therefore is a CDMA phone.
From wikipedia:
CDMA:
Code Division Multiple Access (Multiple Access code division, also known by the acronym CDMA) is the channel access protocol more common shared in communication wireless networks, cellular technologies third generation (3G), which operate according the UMTS standard, and transmission of messages from GPS satellites.
I bought a HTC ONE Dual Sim ( CDMA - GSM ). Sim 1 slot is made for using both CDMA and GSM SIM cards.
But as I insert any SIM in SIM1 slot it detect SIM but dont show network. While SIM2 is working great!
What to do please help.
It was aid with a carrier but I dont know which one.
I attached a photo of Symbol of the carrier.
I have an older dual sim adapter I had used on some previous phones. I installed it primarily out of curiousity on the #2 sim slot and populated it with two freedompop (AT&T LTE, data only) sims. Sim toolkit (the app used to switch sims) shows a notification ("AT&T sim-1), but doesn't allow me to change it. It may also be reading sim #1 in the phone since it is populated with a tracfone AT&T sim, as oposed to one of the freedompop sims in the adapter on the phones #2 sim slot.
It is picking up one of the freedompop sims with LTE and seems to be working fine, I just can't access sim toolkit to change freedompop sims.
Anyway I was wondering if anybody with experience with dual sim adapters might have some insight on the adapter use with a dual sim phone. Thanks.
when I put the sim in tray 1 I cannot connect to LTE but on tray 2 {the one with microsd) I get only H+. why is this?
just checked my dual sim and it's the same, only 2g/3g available in sd/sim tray but lte/3g/2g in tray one.
mine is exynos unlocked/unbranded
