backup of the start of the PDA

hi,
I heard that you can create a backup of the start of the PDA (HTC, diamond)
when this is to install an unofficial rom and the installation fails,
there is another chance to reinstall through the backup of the boot.
is possible? with that program?
cumps
Are you talking about backing up SPL? That's really not necessary unless you worry about warranty issues. Olinex' Unsigned Hard SPL is by far the best and even if a ROM flashing fails, you can proceed flashing another one or the stock ones.
Regards,
Carty..
good,
but if you install the new rom fails?
how do I install a new one?
to make the remaining bootloader?
cumps
if a flash fails, the phone wont boot. You can usually get to Bootloader mode (holding down 'Vol Down' and doing a soft reset), from here you can flash again.

Having problems after trying to go back to stock

I was planning on sending the phone back to HTC for repair so first i installed orange UK's latest rom for touch hd..which is the stock rom.. it worked and booted and everything but then i loaded the stock spl and it flashed and rebooted, but now it just ocmes in bootloader and doesnt allow me to go any further when i try to flash the stock rom on again it just says "loading" but dont change..
Can anyone help?
My SPL Says 1.54.00 Which is stock, But no stock rom just frozen :|
Anyhelp would be appreciated

Problem flashing stockspl

I flashed my x1 with stockspl by SD method and now it has only stockspl and no ROM. I cant flash any ROM now. Did I brick my phone or can it be saved?
Edit: nevermind, I managed to fix it by getting the stockROM and flashing it.

Cant boot on custom rom

Helo , im using Xperia Z C6603 with locked bootloader.
Now im using .292 UK official rom with root and XZ-lockeddualrecovery 2.8.3
After flashing any rom like Criskelo or Existen, my Xperia never boot up. I see only Sony logo and then black screen, and recovery doesnt work even when i flash it again after rom. Can any one help me ? What i do wrong.
I allways make full wipe before install rom.

Actually, you can't boot on custom rom with locked bootloader, therefore you might brick your device if you'll keep trying to flash custom roms on your phone.
Firstly, you've to unlock your Bootloader if you want to use any custom rom (unlocking bootloader will lead you to DRM keys and its functions remove, with TA Partition backup you'll be able to recover it).
i solwed my problem, i just cant wipe system partition ... so i install custom rom, then make factory reset and its works!

1.You actually did!
2.Flash stock ftf and start over
Btw I dont think you have successfully unlocked your bootloader. Check it. Use flashtools it is million times easier.
i think you'r right
i flashed a stock signed rom (using TWRP) and it is back on
i will try flashtool unlocking
THANKS
