HD2 does not support TV out. There are threads about this here on the forum - but it will not work as far as I know.

if you open the back battery cover you can see a large plug below the battery the addon uses that, but you cannot mob the pda yourself.

Ive never used or needed to use the wifi on my tilt but thought that since people use their tilt as an internet connection for their laptops, could i also use my kaiser as an internet connection for my psp? i just want to play games online with my psp at work and was wondering if the tilt was capable of this? With a price tag of 500 bucks you'd think it would be capable of anything, even a happy ending haha.

Damn, im using dutty's march 08 rom and i dont see wifi router in connections or anywhere on my tilt. Under settings, connections theres a wifi option but it looks like this option is only used to search for routers and connect to existing routers, not enable my phone to be a router. Anyone have a cab for wifi router or am i missing something? Thanks guys!
it really really worked?

I am trying to do exactly this. I am running a psp slim with cfw 3.71 and a kaiser with duttys 6.1 rtm with wmwifirouter 0.91 I tried several methods with no success. I allllmost wanna call bs on it actually working. Can you make a vid of it and upload to youtube or something. If you have it working then you are the only one of about 300 people who have documented their failure trying to accomplish the very same thing. Sharing your configuration would help many people out here. Lemme know!!!
Thanks,
J
Why would you need to do that? The PSP has WiFi built in.
True, but it's a pain when your not in a wifi area like my local pub having a couple of pints and you want to do a bit of online gaming

Any update on getting PSP for work with WMWifiRouter ?
Hell, I've connected to the Playstation Network on my PS3 through WMWifiRouter when the cable went out.
Look for it in .zip form, it doesn't need to install, it's just an exe

How is that gaming experience ? Too slow to enjoy ?
absolutely. The ping was over 200 for everything, I pretty much did it just to say I could.
Could you share your exact setup and settings? Never been able to get my PS3 to work with WMWifiRouter (PSP neither, btw, though didn't try the quoted firmware)

I'll do it again and post it all up. It's been a while since I did it.

usb on the go !

i was going through the source code of the kernel for our device and found out dat it had usb on the go drivers. so its evident dat there has to b usb on the go for dis device . did anyone try dis feature ?
For all I know it could have been already implemented in the phone. Problem lies with the cable being unusual, USB Mini to Female port, Then male port to HDD. That's quite the combination.
Hmmm true that! But that's good news! Now to go cable hunting!
OT: Did you happen to come across any TV-OUT drivers as well? The cable for that would be a Video RCA to 1/8" TRRS I suppose? Because if it's mini-HDMI then there's no chance. Or maybe it could be wireless...
Ron managed to find a code that Skin or possibly dev's could work on to enable TV Output, LCD-HDTV and vice versa,

Suh-WEET!
Oh yeah... forgot about mini-USB to HDMI! The ever versatile USB ports eh? That would be killer!
Is it really that easy ! Wonder why they don't do it in the first pace eh? Probably to upmark the price for the next phone with that capability.

take a luk at dis http://www.omappedia.org/wiki/Kernel_TV-Out
everything in the kernel is written in c language . everything has a value to it .. currently the tv out is in "0" mode. and we need to enable it !
Apparently dev punkgeek managed to turn on USB host on Galaxy Tab and when I asked him about our beloved i9000 he said that they are based on the same processor and it's actually pretty doable! Now we need someone who could somehow port it over http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1233072&page=3

Mods please delete or move to Q and A. Thanks.

Does anyone know which ROMs support HDMI video out though the external video cable? Is it only the sense ones? Only the stock ones? Any recommendations on the best and newest ROM that has HDMI support or any one know if there is a list somewhere?
Thanks.
Is a hardware thing and the Incredible don't have it/support HDMI

Firstly, not to be a jerk but this definitely belongs in the Q&A section. Secondly, if a ROM supports HDMI out, it should say it in the features. Most of the stock ROMs should have support for TV out.

The Incredible does NOT support HDMI out (Which is used for High Definition Video Out). It does have composite video out with the cable and basically only the Sense 1.0 roms support it.
Sorry for posting this question to the development thread. I realized after I did it that it should have gone in Q&A. I couldn't find a way to delete a post. If any moderator wants to delete this thread I won't mind.

I stand corrected. HDMI no. TV Out yes. My mistake.
I won't lie, I don't use tv out... but my impression was you could use TV Out from USB mini to HDMI... is that not the case?
