Help!!! My D2 cannot boot correctly - Touch Diamond2, Pure Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i hv used cooked rom for long time
but yesterday when i press the start button, some texts below the icon were transformed (one of the case is the texts is bigger than normal and overlay the icon, so strange)
then i flash the cooked rom i used again, but when i loaded the boot screen (orange windows mobile boot screen of htc boot screen), it stoped loading and reboot
therefore i flash couple time
some lucky cases are successful to load the htc setting screen and today (although most cases are freezed in this 2 screen), but after reboot just the same problem happened
i hv tried different rom, all of them cause the same
is it the hardware problem or battery?

Its likely a bad flash.
If hard sets don't work, reinstall your stock ROM, then try another cooked ROM.
Should fix the issue.

Problem: Unresponsive, error on windows customisation, frequent reflashing required

I've been lurking on these forums since I got my diamond, about 5 months ago, and i would like to say, I would have sold my diamond about 2 weeks after buying it if it wasn't for all the knowledge and tools available here. Thank you.
Now, I've been flashing my phone every so often, with ROMs such as Swtos, Panosha, Duttys, AZTOR, Wildberry, Dia Diut, and most recently (wherein the problem lies), NATALY 2.1, Cloudy 1.0 and udK Syrius R3.
Now with these latest three roms (2.03?), i started to encounter a similar problem over and over again, without exception. If I try to launch a program while another is using the CPU, the phone will begin to crash. First it will become unresponsive, then programs will no longer open, and eventually, the only thing that can be done is a soft reset.
For example, the alarm will activate (klaxon), i'll flip the phone, and hit off. Now I know the problem has begun because though the phone has returned to the home screen, the title bar may still show the image from the alarm. Now the phone will work like its cpu is being heavily engaged and I can never reach task manager to see what it is. The hard volume keys frequently cause the phone to begin behaving in this manner. Soft reset only solution again. TF3D still animates, but programs will never appear on the screen if you try to launch them.
Same sort of effect on Cloudy's and udK's, except after the soft reset, the phone would begin to reinstall the rom again, as if some sort critical error occurred.
I have a DIAM130, and i've heard that to install 2.03 base ROMS (such as NATALY2.1 and Cloudy, is that correct?) you should first install a 2.03 SPL and a 2.03 stock ROM, then upgrade the SPL, then the ROM.
The latest SPL i've seen here is 1.93, and installing this increased the stability of these ROMs from 30 minutes to about 1-2 days, but the same problem occurs.
(also, haven't been able to find a stock 2.03 ROM on here... am I blind/illiterate?)
Latest addition to this problem (first occurred a few minutes ago after the phone began reflashing itself again after the aforementioned problem): Windows began the usual first-time boot customization procedure, and is now giving me an error: Run FILEOP \Windows\Menu_FILEOP_Operator.txt failed.
Is there some sort of corruption or hardware failure going on?
Well, thanks in advance
EDIT: Problem solved by reflashing stock SPL and 2.03 ROM, then flashing what I wanted. The impression i get from the pros here is that I flashed a ROM which wrote to some memory location that shouldn't have been written to.

ROM Install disapears

Hi,
I am having issues with my HTC Diamond after reseting my handset this morning i was presented with the bootloader screen with no apparant operating system.
I have managed to install a rom and went through the setup screens but upon completion the phone reboots and i am back to the boot loader.
My phone has SPL 1.34.Hard and was running the last dutty rom for about 2-3 months.
Anyone have any ideas on what i can do short of ring up my insurance and telling them i lost it haha
After some reading of a hundred million threads i came across the solution which i will share here incase anyone has my problem.
Hold down volume up + center button and reset (with your third hand lol). The screen then goes gray and preform a restore.
I really hope this helps someone else in that finds there way into my situation
Seems to bve getting beyond a joke now lol. the Phone boots up and then loads into WinMo. After reseting the device it goes straight into the boot loader again and stays there.
I have tried both options on the restore screen including the formatting of the NAND memory.
[edit] Ran the process again and it worked the second time reboots into the OS now [/edit]

Sorry, my English is also not perfect, but I can't understand you completly.
Please try the following points:
1. take the battery out for a few seconds and replace it again
2. try a hardreset
3. go to bootloader and flash the stock-rom from your provider (phone-brand: o2, orange, t-mobile ...)
Good luke (if you not already done it before)

Touch Diamond messed up...

My phone has started doing something kinda weird yesterday after watching a video that was recorded on it. It shows no signal, yet I can still go online through the web browser. I can send and receive texts. But when I press the home button, nothing happens. When I restart the phone, there is nothing on my home screen and when I press the phone button, nothing happens, so I can't make or receive calls. I have tried a hard reset and reloading the rom. Still the same thing. Any help would be great!
Did you install new kernel, or something like that, cause I did that before and it remapped my keeys. So buttons like home and menu were messed up. Idk.
Ok, so I got it fixed. It was less then ideal though. I used the "Clear storage" feature and cleared storage and interal storage. This also seemed to fix my Red X problem in WMDC. So I guess in the end it was alright.
I have a new problem now, so instead of making a new thread I figured I would just add to this one. Yesterday I ran outa main memory and my phone froze. I got it to restart using the power button, but when restarting it froze on the "Touch diamond" screen. I tried to reinstall the rom, but it didn't help. So then I did the "Task 29" on it, reinstalled the rom. Now it gets to the the "Touch Diamond" screen and stays there for about a minute and then restarts. It just keeps doing that. What can I do from here? I am stuck and lost.
Again, any help would be great!
Thanks.
did u reinstall the os or the complete rom.
task29 will typically wipe everything except the SPL

you must Hard reset the device then reFlash with official rom for your device
you must reflash A rom after task29, it doesnt need to be stock as long as you flash radio and OS

[Q] Can only boot into recovery (battery dead?)

Hi everyone,
while using my Note earlier today, it suddenly shut off (with about 75% battery) so I assumed it was just a crash. However after rebooting I could only reach the homescreen and after a few seconds it shut off again. This happened 2 more times.
After that I couldn't boot intro Android at all anymore. After displaying the Samsung splash for about 1 second, the phone shuts off. I tried things like removing the battery for some time etc..
I can boot into CWM where I tried to make a backup. After confirming the start of the backup, the screen image distorts for half a second and the phone shuts off. Then after connecting the charger, creating a backup was successful. Trying to boot into Android still didn't work though.
I did a full wipe and tried another ROM without success. The phone shuts off either after the Samsung splash screen or 1 second after displaying the boot animation of the ROM.
Is it a battery issue or could it be something else?

Why don't you verify the first part of your question yourself? After that the second one would make sense.
So: new battery first.

I've ordered it, it'll take a few days to arrive.
Just in case anyone else runs into this issue. I found that my Galaxy Note was doing exactly the same thing and it was a dodgy or dying battery.
I could run CWM or Android Recovery or Philz Recovery and I could also flash the stock roms with ODIN but after the flashing, the phone would boot to various stages (N7000 splash screen, SAMSUNG splash screen, "Updating Android" screen and then turn off. After flashing a dozen times I worked out it was the battery. Replaced it and all sorted.
I ran into a same kind of problem once. Factory resetting the phone fixed the problem for me.
