Use your goldcard and boot into the fastboot menu by pushing the back button while booting your phone and then run the RUU file.

I am talking about fota update
Okay i used androot to root my phone and it worked and all but i found a thread that will root it with unrevoked with recovery etc and i rather have that i unrooted it with androot...but i went through the codes for unrevoked and it wont install superuser onto my phone can someone help me unroot completely or reboot to a fresh htc hero
If you want to unroot your hero, all you need to do is run the official RUU which can be found off of sprint's web site -> HERE
A co-worker recently got a new capitvate from AT&T, and he asked me to root the phone for him. I kept having issues with the phone saying that the phone didn't have the correct signature on the file. I was able to get root on the phone with the superoneclick root but certain programs that needed root would not work properly. So, the work around was to flash using ODIN to a known good unlocked stock ROM. After, flashing to a good stock ROM where the bootloader was not locked I was then able to root and put custom ROM on the phone.
Hello everyone, I need some help if possible.
Basically I had a HTC One on stock 4.1.2. I unlocked the bootloader, installed ClockWorkMod and rooted the phone successfully. I've had a notification for a OTA update to 4.2.2 recently so I read that I would have to go back to stock recovery and relock the bootloader and remove root access. Somewhere along the line Ive must have totally messed up. I can start the phone and it loads up but Iv'e not got no WIFI ( hangs on turning on), SD card isnt recognised by the phone and after checking the firmware I'm still on 4.2.1. I ran the Hboot menu and it said ***Relocked*** and ***Tampered***. I tried running recovery and it had a red triangle. So I retraced my steps and unlocked the bootloader and installed CWM again.
Am I right in thinking the best thing to do would be to flash the firmware using CWM which requires root access?
Few things that may help:
Ive checked the Hboot menu and it says the phone is ***Tampered*** and ***Unlocked***
S-ON after running getvar in CMD prompt. (Does this mean phone isnt rooted any more?)
I can still get into CMW recovery but I'm not sure how I could install SuperUser if the SD is corrupt?
Ideally I'd like to get on 4.2.2 with root access but I dont know the best way to go about it. Im not too bothered about losing data, I would just like the phone back in working order. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi guys i decided i wanted to try the google play edition. So i got root, installed custom recovery and took a nandroid backup.
I then installed the latest play 4.3 rom. Didnt like it so went back into my cmw and restored the nandroid. Cool phone running fine again.
But i keep getting updates and when rebooting to install it would fire it into cmw and said couldnt mount. So i thought id reset the phone, and it rebooted to cmw again.
Read online it might be because the bootloader was unlocked. So i used the command fastboot oem lock in command prompt and relocked it. Now every time i try to reset the phone or update it im dropped to the bootloader
i thought an rru would fix it but i couldnt find one for my phone.
Its the htc one m7, was on o2 but i had it unlocked. It has hboot 1.54 so i couldnt get s-ff, baseband 41.17.3250.14. With the bootloader in tampered but relocked mode.
Any help would be appreciated. Just want my phone working again.
Ps i tried the guides to go back to stock. I dont have a 401 so i tried the rru, which i couldnt find for my phone and i cant seem to find the stock recovery for my device to reflash that see if its the problem, i tried a guide to extract from the nandroid, but altho i had root i couldnt see the folders. Tried the rom manager method as well and it says there is no backups altho there is one showing in cmw which i now cannot get into since relocking the bootloader
