Hi
Couple of quick questions:
1: Does market enabler work with froyo? Any1 tried this?
2: Any1 from Norway tried market enabler and got it to work successfully? On what network?
Those are my questions so far, thx for any answers

thank you for that oh-so-kind reply.
can someone please make a mirror
MarketEnabler_v3.0.8 is not a valid file????
Marketenabler worked fine to me.. Meaning it fakes your my sim and i can see paid apps. I haven't bought anything yet tho'
both works fine.
enabler in froyo and enabler in norway
Use Market Access!
Market enabler doesn't work for me (Nexus One running stock Froyo (FRF91) in Brasil)
Instead I'm using "Universal Androot"
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=747598
and Market Access
amip.tools-for.net/android/MarketAccess
Now it works like a dream and I've already purchased a couple of apps.
Can also confirm that market access works like a charm. Running CM6 RC2, but with locked bootloader.
Market Access
I am using Market Access on a Samsung Galaxy S with Froyo JP3. Works fine it seems. Was able to buy apps.

Android 1.6 broke CoPilot. You'll have to wait for an update from CoPilot

Me too
CoPilot is working perfect for me on 4.1.999 (Which is 1.6). I did however try the cracked version and produced the same error. Sooo, if you bought it legitimately I would email the developer. If you are using the cracked version, spend $35 and get the legit version. Its a whole lot cheaper than any decent alternative.
my 8.0.0.4444 works fine on it!

Hmm, odd. Have you tried deleting the APK and reinstalling from the market? Mine is working without any problems on 421. I installed it fresh on 419999, not sure if the 9 made the difference, LOL.
did you guys already solve this issue?
Please tell me how..
Kind regards!
I'm using Co-pilot 8 (legit) on my cyanogen 4.2.7.1 quite happily. I did have some problem originally, until I setup a swap etc, on my class 6 micro sd...

The easiest way I find is to uninstall then reinstall Market Enabler, remember to save ur settings next time so that u can always go back to them.
Photoshop apk file
Currently Photoshop is only available for the US market. However you could download the apk file fo here;

i even tried to rename it to .apk and email it to my gmail and use an apk installer.

which sucks.
i might just forget about bluetooth on the hero rom i am currently using and go with another hero rom that has a working market but no bluetooth..
such a bummer
TaskPanel X is now available in Market.Go get it!

Yeah now thats been removed ... SO... does anyone have TaskPanel X? maybe upload it somewhere? Cheers.
I was able to find a version of 6.5.3. I guess the latest was 6.6.2.
Anyway: http://www.mediafire.com/?b1qhvml738fx4sc
This is freeware!
Deleted from that location, anyone else have a mirror?
I have updated to the latest version that HTC/Sprint provided for the Hero in terms of software which is radio version 2.42.01.04.27 and firmware 2.1-update1. I'm having a really hard time rooting as I have tried unrevoked but no matter what i did it would not show hboot usb on the bootloader screen, I tried Super One click and it wouldnt mount and that wouldn't work.
Can anyone point me to anything else i can try or use so that I can please root my phone and install my rom of choosing?
Thanks
This worked just fine for me

Where do you download the android sdk? Does it have to be any specific version? And one last question, does it work on 2.42.01.04.27?

That's a radio version if I'm not mistaken, but if you read the thread, you will see it works with up to the newest version.
just z4root it works everytime.
1. Dont listen to him z4root doesnt always work, didnt work on Samsung Vibrant
2. Depends on phone model, i had to use SuperOneClick root, and on my Motorola Cliq XT i had to use the "rageagainstthecage" method and one my Huawei Ideos U8150 i used z4root, again just depends on phone model

Im not that experienced and wasnt able to follow the first root method suggested with the SDK and all of that. I tried superoneclick but it always gets stuck when mounting. Where can i find z4root?

but for the question at hand, when trying to root a cdma hero it "always" works
hence why the question was asked here and not in Android General forum

Install Market Enabler from market. Basically what it does, it changes the Markets Region, so you unlock apps that are not supported in your region.
I had the same problem when i tried installing Google+, i couldn't find it in market, and then i found out that Cyprus wasn't supported. So Market Enabler did the trick.
Cheers
Thanks alot, it fixed my problem
