I had a friend make the same mistake. I told him to replace this old phone, but he doesn't want to. Did you ever figure this out?
I have a sprint cdma touch diamond, and i got really tired of the stock so i decided to start played around with it. What is the best rom in your opinion available now? Right now I have the latest 7 version of Juicy which is pretty cool, but the keyboard is really laggy and it doesnt have sprint picture mail.

I like the Energy ROM, Or Culkulins
There is just a few ROM's listed there at the moment.
P.S. Don't frown on me sending bavman to my own web site, I think it will help.
I still like Mighty ROM 4 (final)... its WM6.1 and solid...

Just an FYI. OMJ's latest does have a Sense 2.1. He puts out excellent roms, and maybe more importantly is very responsive to questions and problems. Finally, he has made his kitchen available and several templates for those wanting to further customize.
Hi all,
I know we've got some great cooks here, and so I'm hoping one of them will help! I have been playing with ROMs since I got my Tilt2 (ATT) and I have been pretty happy with some of them, yet still not quite completely satisfied. Some come close to what I want, but all seem somewhat finicky with my ATT phone (my wife has refused to let me play with her Verizon Touch Pro 2, something about me breaking it
For me, the holy grail of ROMs for this phone would be:
A fast, Manila 2.5+, Windows 6.5 (or 6.5.3, if its rock solid) ROM with no frills or cooked in software.
A simple user interface, something normal but snazzy looking. If it could be like the original Verizon one that'd be awesome, if not the normal HTC would be fine.
Basically, I want a stripped down speedy version of the normal HTC look, but haven't been able to find it. I MIGHT be able to learn how to cook my own, but cannot currently spare the time as I'm in grad school.
If anyone could help, that would be AWESOME!
if u dontmind trying... try DA_G rom... its built for AT&T so your keyboard will work just fine its 28206 built and lite... alot of rom and ram space... no manila 2.5 so i was using SPB mobile Shell Pro...
Well, if this title won't catch peoples attention, I don't know what else to do...
Having been running Sprint stock 6.5 for 8 mos (3 last months with Titanium), I finally decided to bite the bullet and try a custom ROM.
I installed Mike's ROM of 6/20/2010 since a lot of people mentioned it as the stable and noob-friendly. I used it for a day and now I hate Sense even more then ever - it's just a tad faster with this ROM but still a lagger.
So, I am even more than ever set on using a Titanium-based ROM. What I am looking for first and foremost is speed and stability.
What should I try ? People suggested Vin ROMs but all his latest ones seem to be Sense-based. Should I just stay with Mighty (switched to Titanium) ? Is there a "top 5" list of Titanium ROMs for Sprint ?
I just installed energy rom for the first custom rom last week and I love it. So many things are better, and it's not been a minute's trouble.

just a heads up sprint touch pro 2 is a cdma phone so you would probably have better luck asking your question here --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=517
I'm looking for rom for a sprint tablet with overclock and everything working stable... any recommendations?
Found plenty of GSM ones but not really CDMA versions...
I read that I can't install other carrier's roms or radios or it will do loop resets.. is this true?
I've only ever been able to get rooted stock and the Honeycomb port to actually work. Supposedly Khasmek's rom/kernel works too, but I've never had any luck with it on my sprint tab.
I see. I'll see if I can get deodexed version of the honey comb rom so that I can theme it up myself.
I kinda wish there was an kitchen that I can get my hands on...
like how calk used to have it for winmo phones back in the days...
