Hey all,
I installed Metamorph on my Nexus One to install another Status Bar, but if i start the checks, it says me that i don't have enough free space on /system!
What can i do to fix this? I use the Stock 2.2 "FroYo" ROM pre-rooted from XDA...
I hope anyone of you can help me.
Thanks a lot!

hi, can someone give me a step by step process on how to make the genie widget transparent? i am really new to this so i need details if possible....
o i am running darch 2.7 KINGKANGSLAYER i added the king part myself...
Thanks,
Ethan
if you want to make both our lives easy a apk would do.... like so i can just flash it... (but i will need directions on how to pull the other one and such)
Can we get a mod to move this to Themes and apps section please =D?
Do you mean something like this?
Just flash the attached zip, and it will give you clear GenieWidget(new and weather), and Clear Settings.apk (Power Control Widget)
If you just want the GenieWidget clear but not the powercontrol, let me know and I'll get your a zip of just clear GenieWidget.
Cheers!
thanks a lot i really appreciate it!
Any idea why the power control widget is the only one that's clear for me?
I've tried reflashing. I'm also running the DarkStar port, if that has any affect on it.
Thanks

So wait your saying that you guys cannot mount the system with adb after you root? Doesn't sound right. Didn't anyone make you guys a new boot.img? Or am I wrong here.

I'm just themeing the SlideMEROOT2 ROM and flashing it...I've only had today to work on it, mostly I was just getting rid of all the blue...I have a red slide and all the themes for it have blue or some nasty brown or orange colors...so I spent all day replacing blue with red, pretty much the only thing left is the progress bars but that's coded in xml so as soon as I can get a generic 2.1 ROM to build I should be able to replace the progress bar file from that into the ROM...just gotta find time to work on it...

on a side note, i got the generic build going and my progress bar are red too! getting close to having a decent theme...still working on some things, but its getting close. next thing is getting red notification text and such, colorchange.jar wont work on SlideMEROOT, so i hafta go in and do it all manually file by file. workin on it!

I want to do some themeing without the actual coding part (I'm terrible with programming and such). If someone will send me the image files I can modify them. I plan on starting this weekend if anyone wants to collaborate. Please PM me if anyone is interested and I can show you some of my graphic design work.

Just get a copy of the rom you use, or any rom you choose, and start editting/replacing images...then resign and flash...if you'd like to look at some tuts, you can find them in the g1 themeing and android themeing sections...

I need a help. Could someone tell me where can I find a ROM for Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000 without the clock in the status bar? I found some threads about how can I get rid of the clock in the status bar but I can`t really do that. Every time I am flashing the file the phone will not reboot till the end and vibrating. I tried on many ROMs (stock and custom) but was not successful? Help please
Clock as in what sort of clock round clockface or the stock android digital time .
jje
Stock Android digital clock. Sorry for not being precise in formulation.
You don't need a special rom for that. There are themes in the Themes and Apps forum which don't have the clock. Black Android comes to mind...

Thanks. The Black Android is not working. It makes dialer and other apps disappear but clock is there forever. Others the same. I have used the flash files that can be found on XDA but the phone will not reboot (vibrating).
Why a developers of custom ROMs do not want to exclude the stock Android clock in status bar? Is it that hard or there is only me who do not want to have a double clock when looking on the screen? Maybe someone did it already but I can`t find it?
Very sad. Nobody knows what ROM can it be? :-(
every Rom has the Clock...
because it only could be in the same colour as the status bar to make it disaper.. D
to remove it completly would be very hard..
Someone made a standalone mod to disable the clock in the status bar.
I remember trying it out, then reverting because i actually wanted to see the time while apps were in the foreground.
Check the Themes & Apps section.

Resolved
Thanks to "azzledazzle" for help and to all XDA developers and users.
"azzledazzle" gave me the file for JPY ROM.
This is step by step manual (partly copy-paste): This will work only for JPY ROMs
First of all you need to be rooted and deodexed.... (for that I used http://romkitchen.org/ Thanks to DocRambone, Stefunel, and all others. Sorry if did not mantioned others names. I am not a proffesional and do not want to offend someone from developers). How to install custom ROM you can find in XDA forum as I did.
Let`s continue....
1) extract the JPY_services_no_clock.zip
2) put the 'services.jar' on the root of your sd card...
3) Open up root explorer (free in market, but I did it with Super Manager)
4) go to sd card and copy the 'services.jar'
5) go into /system/framework and paste the 'services.jar' (also at the top of root explorer make sure you are mounted (R/W) if using Super Manager (turn on root access from settings of the Super Manager).
6) reboot the phone and that should be it....
Thanks again to all developers and users.
would this work with JS7?

Hi,
can`t find information on how to change or replace the stocklockscreen (2.3.5) without using apps. I want to mod it the native way. For start, will it be possible the cayyanogenmod-lockscreen to replace the stock with that? How to?
Rom is rooted with CWM installed. ADB is working too.
Hope someone can help me, i googled but found pnly ways with using apps. And i tryed to find it myself but there is nothing like lockscreen.apk on my sgs.
I don't know how it's done, but there are those "10 Lockscreens" mods which I think are CWM flashable, so that would be a good place to start looking, I guess.
