I have German Touch diamond 2. Ten days ago I updated ROM to official 2.5 manilla ROM in english (WWE). I have Olix 1.83 loader. The installation froze at 8 percent and switched device to three color mode, but then it resumed and it finished successfully. Everything was fine until today. My device froze two times in last 12 hours. The device turns off and I cannot switch it on again. I have to remove the batery for few minutes and then I can successfully restart it. What is wrong? Can anybody please help me?

this is called SOD, common problem with 2.53 based ROMs, u can search for it coz it has been discussed a lot in topaz threads.

Hi guys,.. i have been trying to upgrade my P3600 over 2-3 weeks now but i reach the same problem always, and that is simply.... I have managed the RADIO Rom to 1.41.00.111, but when i try to update the operating system.. with... Lvsw 2.0.1.1 / Mary 2.0 / PDAVIET 3.00.07.09 ... everything goes far with the updating.. i can see the progress bar, it reaches 100%, the screen on my mobile goes black... and it says on my computer to follow the info on my mobile and close the update application.
Now at this time my mobile is totally black (shut off i guess)... i have waited for more than 5 minutes but since nothing happens, i have restarted the mobile with a soft rest... but after the rest i still have my OLD operating system....
What am i doing wrong?.... I have read through bunch of threads on the forum, but haven't seen anyone else whom have had this problem.. or is it simply that i should wait even longer time and the mobile should start up by itself?....

I've tried to update my HTC3600, by using the "WM6 Official - Any Device" from http://trinityguide.info, and it just doesn't work... I have updated Hard-SPL, and then tried to apply "Official Dopod ROM" ... the only thing it did was to revert my Radio-ROM back to 1.46.xxx (from 1.50.xxx i had before)...
But the OS was never updated to WM6... I have tried a bunch of different WM6 ROMs now during the weekend, nothing has helped... even tried some application to unlock CID (what is it actually ???).
The only thing I've managed is to update my own OS using the official swedish ROM (I've bought my HTC in sweden). And i've been able to update my Radio ROM to 1.46.xxx, 1.50.xxx.. as well as installing different HARD-SPL.
But i've so far not been able to install ANY WM6, or WM5 cooked ROM's .. so pleaaaaaaase help my guides... I'm starting to go nuts over this...

My HTC Diamond have some trouble: Every time I turn it on, it boot to splash screen and then restart, then go on splash screen and restart again, again, and again.It dont boot to Windows.
I am using 2.03 WWE ROM anh tried to reflash so many rom, both Rom ship and cooked rom but still no hope.
I tried to downgrade its SPL from 1.40 Olinex to original SPL as following thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2324837#post2324837
But not work, in tri colors screen is still 1.40 Olinex
So anyone pls help, I love my Diamond so muc, dont let it dying like this. PLS...
I do MTTY everytime i flash new ROM
well, has happened to me before, I just take out the battery and leave it out for couple minutes and then should be ok, try starting it when is on the charger, also hard-reset is always an option. I think that is softwware based problem.

My diamond also started doing this yesterday night, it was working fine until now. I have flashed it with Donsalaris rom which came out Xmas last year and its been working fine for over 6 months now.
Then yesterday night after a long chat it started to do this ??..
I tried taking out the battery still no good. I hard reset it and now works fine for sometime like a few hours to a few minutes and go into this restarting cycle again.
I'v left it on the table and out of the blue it will reset it selfs and start the cycle ?
Seems like a software problem but a hard reset should have solved it right ? But it only partially solved it
Anybody gott a clue as to what it might be ???

After months and months of testing I’m still having the same problem with my x1 phone:
Each time it is randomly freezing after installing a few apps on top of those that come with the rom itself. I tried to find out which of the apps caused the freezing, but did not get ANNY wiser from that. It seems to occur with random apps at random moments, after I installed more than 4 or 5 apps…
Last time I was confinsed It was GAlarm 2.5 (and 2.3) that caused the problem, to check I installed same apps as I did that previous time, but now without a Galarm:
I Formatted with task 29
Flashed Rom (infinite rom)
Performed hard-reset.
Tested several hours
Installed task manager from x2 (infinite has no task manager)
Installed on screen keybord from x2
Tested several hours
Installed HTC Album
Tested several hours
And I was happy! After months of testing I came to the conclusion that it HAD to be Galarm conflicting with this rom.
So next day, happy as I was, I went to my PC to connect my phone and to install the rest of my apps, however…. my phone ones again had died. And at start up it did not get past the sony Ericsson logo.
Anyone has any idea what is going on here??

for the phone to get stuck on the SE Logo i think it means that there is no ROM or the ROM files r corrupted because after u format using task the phone does the same before flashing any ROM
and as u can't get past the SE screen i guess u'll have to Flash a ROM or try hard reset
i'm not sure but that's my openion

Well it was a terrible mistake i made and i was quite sure this time it would have gone miles away( my kaiser)
i flashed my Kaiser for over 11 times in past one week
every time i flash with Ahmed Fakiry rom and tried to install different cabs ( downloaded from different sources, mostly xda-developers) my phone went on sleep due to bad factors( like once i by mistake installed QVGA themes of SPB 3.5x) to my Kaiser and in result its lost
then again same ahmed fakery rom flashed and i uploaded a battery saving tweak but same problem with flashed rom, gone and stuck with windows image after boot( no hard or soft reset seems to be working)
Well Lastly today when my phone was perfectly working, having 6.5 cooked rom Ahmed Fakiry with SPB shell and all basic required cabs, i was using opera 10. through wifi, surfing XDA-Developers, i saw iphones today and i hit the cab button and with in a whle it was on board
right after it was installed, working perfectly, i click settings, then my kaiser was hang, battery removed, soft reset, memory card removed, hard reset using soft buttons and stylus, etc, nothing seems to be working fine with my phone
at last again xda-developers forum....
so finally i re flashed my phone with boot loader mode and usb, same FAKIRY ROM, but again the same problem was commin.....my question here is why it happened again and again( i flashed it three times using boot loader, whereas i re flashed my phone using boot loader with Dutty official 6.1 rom and its working fine and phone was alive again
Can some one help me in this matter that if there is a crush on your cooked rom with such kind of issues, why this problem is occurring again and again and if now i wish to flash my rom again using sync( phone is currently having dutty 6.1 5.2.19716 UC to Ahmed Fakiry roms( 6.5)ahmedfikry wm6.5 23569 Tilt 3D UC light rom V3.....?
Please post your valuable comments and guide me in this regards and others like me....appreciated your response

WELL i again flashed and upgraded to ahmed Fakiry rom (ahmedfikry wm6.5 23569 Tilt 3D UC light rom V3) from old dutty 6.1
now its working fine
but waiting for advise from experts....
Hello all, I have Xperia X1 with firmware R3AA007 (about 5 months) and on friday 29.04.2011 this phone was restart unreasonably. After this I saw greel logo Windows mobile 6.1 only and that's all. So I taken off batterie and get back to phone after cca 10 minutes. Switched on phone and the same was happened. Green logo WM 6.1 and it's all. I loaded again this firmware and phone now working. But problem is that doesn't work stylus and nail (before problem everything worked). Now I can control only with my fingerprint but this is little bigger and everytime I'm touching on other place on screen. Could U help me please? Where would be problem? Thanx a lot for answers and help!!!!!
Did you try calibrating the screen again?
I tried everything. Can be mistake with ROM? What I'ld flash some other ROM?
I would try to redownload and flash the stock rom to exclude a problem caused by your copy of the rom.
