Hello,
i'm planning to buy a dual sim adapter for my tattoo.
I found two adapters, but they are both a little expensive:
Adapter 1
Adapter 2
Does someone has experience with these adapters? Or with another one, cheaper?
I just need something that allows changing the active sim without turning the phone on/off.
Problem with these adapters is, that you have to cut out the chip out of your SIM cards and put them into the adapter...if they dont sit firmly in the chip slots, you'll experience loss of signal all of a sudden...Oo
Also you can damage you SIM...badly!...it's somewhat risky...the first adapter you mentioned provided once the service to cut the chips out for you, but I think they don't do it anymore...
I didn't know we can use external dual SIM adapter. Thanks I'll try it today.

Since this device lacks the microsd expansion slot, I was thinking to add it internally. I don't know yet if it's possible, but my idea is to add it in the sim card empty slot.
Do you have any clue about it?
Let's open a "project"?
Here is the mainboard of the 7310.
The idea is either we find another part of the mobo like the one ready for the simcard, hopefully ready also for a memory card holder, or we connect a generic sd holder to the usb pin of the main connector of the tablet.
Here is another piece of information... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1118986
Thanks, very useful.
Well it should be feasible, it's enough to connect the usb pin, but there are some questions to be answered.
1) If a memory card is inserted will a device connected to the 30pin connector work? Or does work only 1 device per time?
2) Will this kind of connection work like a normal microsd holder connected to the mobo by default microconnector? I mean, will it use more power, will it drain battery faster because voltages etc..?
3) will it be useful due to the possibility to install apps?
It's important to have answers to these questions, but the operation is very feasibile.
Well, I'm thinking that this mod using the usb pin doesn't worth the trouble.
Usb needs 5.0v and it's too much. Using 5.0 continously drain a lot the battery.
Instead a stock 3.3v powered microsd, is far lower battery hungry.
The problem is to find on the mobo the pinout (if present) to connect a microsd holder.
Gt-P7500 is ready for this connector, but as far I saw on pics of 7300's mobo there's nothing similar.
It would be interesting to read the service manual of 7300 just to understand if the chip and the mobo are predisposed for such a connection although not present.
Internet is full of 7500 service manual... but something for 7300??
I've found this generic adapter, ready to be connected on the equivalent pins on the mobo. The problem is to find the schematics of 7300, just to understand where and if are the sd control pin on the chips (but I guess so).
I've been thinking of organizing my accessories into some sort of water/shock/dust proof case for easy sorting and accessing. I ran across these:

http://pelican.com/cases_detail.php?Case=1055CC
http://pelican.com/case_category.php?CaseSize=Small Case%&New=%
But they tend to look at bit industrial for my taste. I've got the usual stuff laying around: SD's SD adapters, Micro SD's, Micro SIM adapters, extra power bricks for Samsung and Apple Mobiles, USB cables, OTG adapter's, an extra MHL adapter, Apple HDMI adapter and so on...
I'd love to see pics of your set up or set ups, if you use ore than one.
I have a desk with a metal tray, upon which I sit my keys, my sunglasses, and my bluetooth headset when I come in. That is all I need.
Hi.
Can anybody tell me, is there a flawlessly workind dual SIM adapter (perhaps without cutting the mini sim card ) for the S5 which works with DSC 2.3 and CM7 Roms?
(An adapter, please no additional devices)
push?
So the other day i was wondering if there was a way for us to add microsd card to this phone which is specially needed for those with 8/128 variant
Because Rog 2 has 2 usb type c ports there are lots of possibilities, maybe we could use one of them to connect to a microsd card slot(if we could find a tiny microsd to type c connector)
or maybe we could make a case with a built-in type c connector and the ability to put microsd in!
as we know there has been some case models for some phones that have had a built-in battery that could connect to phone with an also built-in micro-usb/type-c port, or some other cases/covers that have a type-c connection and ability to connection controllers, like the Rog 2 kunai case that bundles with kunai game pads
My third thought was to find(or make) something like the picture attached below, a microsd adapter that can be bent and attached to the back of the phone, it wouldnt be that hard, would it??
any ideas or suggestions on this matter?
