Plz be specific from where did u download the official rom,which u said u tried to flash.was it from official i-mate club ftp site and what was the version of the rom u tried to install,cuz they don't have any upgraded version on this site apart from the last wm5 dated year 2006. i-mate is not offering any wm6 upgrade to any of its products.
secondly, which other rom u tried to flash afterwards?
as far as ur attached pics r,if u can reach to this screen than do not worry about the upgrade info,as it's sometime displayed and sometimes not,just hit the upgrade.
if it completes than it's alright,but if it stucks for a very long time and displays any error message.it means it has not upgraded.

ur phone's ipl/spl 2.16,it's a AKU 2 version,therefore check the rom with which ur trying to update shud also be aku2.the update rom shud be newer than the one already on ur phone.

can you tell what exactly is the problem you are having at present is it that:-
1. you are not able to complete flash,it stops and give some error,if so then what error it shows ?
2.RUU starts to flash,but when it comes to the screen where it verifies the updating rom's info,there you don't see any info,as per your first post,than you discard the update?
3. is the version of the rom newer your are trying to update with then the one already on your device
plz verify these ?

Ok,lets try this way out,try to do a hard reset,to perform hard reset :-
1. Press and hold the Comm Manager button and Voice Command button on the device,than
2.While keeping the two buttons pressed with one hand, and at the same time,with other hand,use the stylus to lightly press and hold the soft reset button.
the device will reboot and restart again,see if it starts to work alright.If still freezes at the splash screen,than I'll suggest you do this,it really sometimes help and I have solved my problem so many times by doing this :-
Reboot your PC, run disk clean on Drive C:\,delete all the Temporary internet files,Temp files rather check mark all the options in the disk clean wizard option and hit ok,this will delete all the junk files from your PC,now delete all the cookies in the internet options,after doing all this,switch on your phone and go into Bootloader mode(tri color screen),when there than connect your phone to the pc using usb cable but don't active sync your phone,cancell active sync if need be,when you connect your phone with pc via usb,look at the screen of your phone you will see a little usb shown at the bottom of the screen.
Now open the rom which you downloaded and execute the Ruu..,it will start to flash,let it complete ,it will confirm flash and reboot,it start now and work normal, I hope,it will solve this problem remember don't do anything else with the pc like browsing the web or reading e-mails,playing games or working on Microsoft office,don't touch you pc and phone while the rom flashes.
Well,there is another way also,but as you want the official arabic version rom on your phone,do it first as i told you above,if it works,good,otherwise we will do the second method good luck

ok, what is the present status of your phone ? what ipl/spl...? it shows in bootloader mode ?
as you posted in another thread that you tried to flash wizard_love_rom,but did not succeed,earlier you only wanted to upgrade to an official arabic i-mate k-jam rom.Now do you want to upgrade to any rom ? by unlocking the phone ? or just want your phone to work by any means ? if yes,then there's another option to get your phone working,I really hope so.Plz confirm what you want to do now ?

ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID
these error messages appear when you use the wrong RUU to do the upgrade. RUU will check if the Model ID and Language ID are compatible with the device.
Well, as I can think,you had an Arabic rom version OS 2.16.9.1 Arabic on your phone before and tried to flash a wwe version rom.the bootloaders verified and did not accept the rom.So a bad flash and splash screen got freezed,the only way is to flash and try to downgrade to IPL/SPL 1.xx and CID unlock the device and upgrade to another rom to start working, or flash the official stock Arabic rom to bring back the phone to it's default status,but the official rom you downloaded and tried to flash was of the same OS version didn't flash correctly and got splash screen stuck.Therefore,the only option left at present is to try and downgrade it to IPL/SPL 1.xx.The options are :-
1.Try to flash again button's rom 'CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe ' Which you already have with you,a couple of times more and see if it might work,
2.Otherwise download this rom from the link below and flash,hope it'll work :-

If successful,good,but if still fails,
3.there's still another option to flash the rom with replaced 'Romupdateutility' in the rom,which I'll explain how to do it later,

I'd bought my htc p3600 pro (black, free from sim-lock & free from any carrier) from London.
As advised by TRINITYGUIDES.INFO site I tried to do HardSPL with all the three available HardSPL files, but of no avail.
When the HardSPL's progress bar comes(on pc) it gives a message on my phone " Enterbootloader.exe....This may harm your device...Do you want to continue.." I pressed yes & the process stopped & gave an error on pc "Error 246 Device not responding" & on phone screen showed the bootloader with

I have used a lot the "search"-function and I have found a lot of posts which propose the same solution "restart the Rom upgrade another time". Ok I did it and my PDA works very well, but now I would like to solve the problem radicaly... How can I solve this problem? Should I use SPLexploit (I have found the guide on trinityguides.info) and then reflash a Hard-Spl?

Before flash manually enter bootloader. After start the rom update utility. (As www.trinityguides.info suggest). You will not get error 246 any more

Here is written to flash rom you should manually enter to bootoader. In this case, you will not have error 246.
Most of the people know this, so they have not this problem
Those who not manually enter bootloader can get error 246, and this way of flashing is not as safe as the manual bootloader way.
(because in this case you use the spl uploaded by RUU, not the hard-spl on the PDA)

When i connect my touch hd to pc in active sync mode, then shutdown device an run in bootloader (volume down and power button at same time) i get the tricolor screen and after a while i get the progress bar on my phone and on pc. But i stays on 0% and says 'update error' after a while.
please help

Hi Me has the trinity 3600 as a VPA GPS vodafone branding, and i get the same error message trying to run the bootloader and entering tricolor screen, ---> error 246 aber manually starting into bootlaoder and restatrting the romupdateutil.exe same error 260 no connention...
So you guys have a working version of the updating ?
And please remove all the links which are not working, linking a solve for the 246 problem, there are nomore links available...

I found a way to solve the problem 246 go in you mobile device, -->start -> settings-> connections ->USB to PC open this. Remove the hook @ Advanced networksettings activation! ---> click OK--> close
try again the bootloader etc, then on the tricolore reboot screen is shown USB in the lower white field and the bootloader can do its routine complete.
Have Fun with flashing the phones!

I just got a att tilt.. I have tryed to unlock it using the kaiser sim unlocker. At first it would just go to the load screen and it would say 0%... a white screen. so i looked for a posting with that. And i found this ------HardSPL will not install - WHITE SCREEN: SOLVED (UPDATE 01. March 2008)-----
on that i got all the way up to 95% and then I got a err message.. now all it will do is go to the load screen (white) and show 0% and then I follow the instructions.. and when I go to restart the phone it show the red,green,blue,white screen.. top left show

It shows you are using the 1.56 SPL, which is the Stock AT&T SPL.
Download the official AT&T 6.0 Shipped Rom here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/55298724/RUU_Kaiser_CINGULAR_WWE_.exe
Take out your SD card and flash this ROM. After you have a successful flash and your phone boots up normally, post back and we'll go from there.

You could try this
More specifically, might want to read this whole thread and search it for RUUNBH.
MTTY should be able to help as long as you use the proper commands.

But then my deviece rebooted and now it shows:

USPL was not working for me when I needed to use it to upgrade the ROM on my touch hd.
What I did was run it on Windows XP instead of Windows Vista and the device responded.
Install ActiveSync 4.5 on Windows XP, disable USB connection in ActiveSync settings, and connect PDA to computer via USB whilst the PDA is on bootloader.
Then run USPL.

Well the first try failed.
the phone didn't get connected to xp (using vmware)
So gonna try @ home.
I'm going to try this:
No connection, wait 5 min, than put battery back and preform a HR.

But going to try to flash the dutch rom.
Funny thing is sometimes it starts flashing but after 1% the screen goes black and back to home menu of bootloader.

Fire up MTTY and do an "info 2". It should give you the CID of the device - try and find a matching Ship EXE for that CID.
*Instructions for MTTY are in the Kaiser Stuck in Bootloader link in my sig BTW.

While loading I ran the dutch rom update.
And now it's flashing.

I tried USPL but gives a error that deviece is not responding
I tried several spl's, nothing hard spl, nothing...
Several coocked and shipped roms nothing...
Some cases it goes to flashing screen but stays at 0%
and some cases it goed to flashing screen goes to 1% and then gives the error...
Can someone help me?

in mtty, command: set 16 0
will fix it
riz157, try flashing with the original shipped rom the device came with. i had this problem a few days ago. it took a while to work out. the shipped rom did the trick for me.
Oh man
I think I also screwed up my HD. It is stuck on Loading... screen. Won't connect to pc. Can not flash anything to it. Restores ok but after reset it shows "update rom code error,please try again" and then next screen shows Loading... for ever.
Please help me guys.....

what if you dont remmember what was the original one =)
i tryed to delete the HSPL
by hardboot via SD ( LEOIMG )...
i got the same problem ...
with the message:
Upgrade ROM code error, Please Try Again.
1) i took out the SD from the Device
2) pulled out the battery 5 sec wait ...
3) put it back ... Push power button ...
4) on the exclamation mark screen ( after it loads )
5) reinstall the HSPL ...
and wm workes again ....
BUT STILL ....
how can i delete the HSPL properly and put a OWWE on my device.
