i used to run static wallpapers but i recently discovered a metal slug lwp. this thing is awesome and it doesnt really bog down scrolling like others..
Been using the silhouette wallpaper for a while now. A Street Fighter based LWP would be great though.
Starfield.
Nexus Revamped Pro.
Used to be Nexus Mod 2.0 but the dev hasn't updated for FroYo yet.
I use static walls these days. I don't like the little bit of slowness caused by live wallpapers and, to be honest, I don't really see the point anyway.
logcat and pixle zombies
my favourite is definetly pixel zombies, love when i am showing someone the phone and can say "theres a war going on in the backround"
worth the $0.99 if you ask me
The Samsung ones are pretty hot. I've previously used Grass, Green, and Winter Flock as well as trying out the Mario one.
starfield and galactic core are awesome. black just looks so nice on amoled.
I wish the Grass one didn't use a lot of CPU rendering the grass, I like the day/night effect it has.
I used a Fireworks one over the last weekend, got a lot of laughs when people saw me using my phone with it.
The Aquarium one is nice to show off, but slows things down pretty bad.

hi
i was just wondering if there are any pink floyd fans here....
yes
abso-freakin-lutely man...i know this is random, but i couldnt help it.
im a huge pink floyd fan
Personally i enjoy the Pynk floyd music in a nice DTS or THX Cinema room... dan god!!! but im not a fan
Well,
A true Pink Floyd fan would have to have at least these albums:
Animals
Atom Heart Mother
The Dark Side Of The Moon
Delicate Sound Of Thunder
The Division Bell
Echoes
The Final Cut
Meddle
A Momentary Lapse Of Reason
Obscured By Clouds
The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
Pulse
A Saucerful Of Secrets
Ummagumma
The Wall
Wish You Were Here
Works
... and of course, would most certainly have to have this album:
Us And Them: The Symphonic Music Of Pink Floyd
... that would be the true sign of a Pink Floyd fan.
The Wall is a classic favorite & Roger Waters will be performing the Wall (30 yr anni) on upcoming tour!
Very true, hope he comes to my city as two years ago
I used to be back in the days. After the 10 trillionth time I heard Comfortably Numb I could not take it anymore. That and I stopped smoking weed.
Though occasionally I will listen to their lesser known weird stuff, it reminds me of acid.
i prefer "shine on you crazy diamond" when i am on acid trip
i am also a Pink Floyd fan, but i prefer their newer stuff more than the earlier syd barrett years. My most favourite songs from them are:
- Any colors you like (Dark side of the moon)
- Learning to fly (A momentary lapse of reason)
- Another Brick In The Wall, Part II (The Wall)
- Run Like Hell (The Wall)
- Terminal Frost (A momentary lapse of reason)
- Summer '68 (Atom Heart Mother)
- What do you want from me (Pulse)
I'm saving up for the Roger Waters tour to take my wife. I don't know if he'll do another one, he's getting so old.
Pink Floyd is my ALL TIME FAVORITE!!
Just thought I would let everyone know that the newest version of Robo Defense now supports larger screens and much better graphics. This is my favorite game on my Evo but never fit the screen on the Gtab until now. I use Dropbox to copy my robodefense.bak file between devices to keep my achievements synced.
That is great to hear I love RoboDefense! Now only if Hex Defense would start to work.
Zoom
It is nice that they added a zoom function on the top of the screen too!
It's been awhile since I've played this game, looks awesome on the tablet. Thanks!
Yes, the beautiful game!
Relief 3d live wallpaper.you got to see this on the gtab. Its in the market
Looks real nice, but not a fan of the statues.
Sadly, this and all other live wallpapers really bog down my system and make the interface laggy. It's really neat and DOES give the 3D illusion.
Hi everybody. I'm very interested in buying this tablet, but I have read some reviews on Amazon where users say some 16:9 apps don't work because of this 4.£ screen.
I'm also a huge gamer, so can someone tell me if it's true and if you tried these 3 apps:
Springfield tapped out
- Blood brothers
- clash of clans.
I don't want to buy this tablet and then discover that I can't use my favourite apps/games
There's a simple solution, you simply use an app like rotation lite to force all apps to portrait mode.
It's what I do to force portrait apps to landscape on my S.
There's only one app (game) that I've had an issue with. Every other app I've used has adjusted to the correct resolution. The game is Wild Blood which I bought yesterday on sale for a buck or two and it reminds me of when I used to live in a Medieval Castle and slice fools up for fun and sport... ... ...decent game, just a "now and then" type thing. Anyway, it's really unplayable on the S2. Even the text and everything is centered down and to the right, and oddly when the gameplay starts the top half of the screen is entirely blank.
That is, however, the first and only time I've ever seen anything like that. Every other app/game I've used (many of which I also had on my Note 4) resizes perfectly. I am kind of curious about other Gameloft games though, because I deleted all of them when the permissions started getting out of control (I think it was Gangstar Vegas requesting "microphone" (???) that prompted that).
IMO the resolution isn't a problem or anything to worry about. If you have a decent phone and ever come across something where it's an issue then you're covered anyway. There are plenty of excellent games that are ideal for the tablet.

There is a slight glitch with Tapped Out at the moment, that it over-zooms slightly on some of the fixed screens. On the main screen it starts a bit more zoomed than normal, but you can zoom out by pinching. But screens like the friend town screen (the one with three Springfields side by side) are zoomed so that the left and right hand ones are half cut-off (but still selectable).
It's cosmetic (the game is still fully playable, indeed aside from the above it runs very sweetly on my S2 T710) and EA have been made aware of it via their forums. As yet it hasn't been resolved, but it's not a showstopper by any means.
Hopping onto the VR train again. Tried it out on a Samsung S7 Edge and it would overheat... a couple years later, I now have the Samsung Note 8 and giving it another whirl. Just curious what you guys think of must-have apps and/or must-see experiences for Samsung Gear VR.
I'll share some of my experiences:
- All the animated movies. They're all good and have the same formula of cute that just works, like how Pixar does. Rose, Invasion!, Crow: The Legend, Asteroids! are all pretty good and I recommend them highly.
- Gala VIP Shows. It's really just a collaboration of videos with artists... some free, but most you'll have to pay for. Great way to get into VR and see how good it can be.
- Epic Roller Coasters. It was cool at first but is kind of meh now IMO. Graphics are okay but you still get the fun of going on a virtual roller coaster.
- Angest. Highly recommended. Controls are easy and the game has a great psychologically-eerie feel to it but no jump scares. Graphics were pretty good and although there's not too much you can do with just a touchpad, it was just enough to keep you entertained.
- SpaceWalk VR. The gameplay is very limited, and the graphics aren't top notch, but this is still a pretty darn good intro to space VR. Very nifty!
- Shooting Showdown 2. There's not much here, but it is still a guilty pleasure of mine to fiddle with a VR shooting game. Very simple and works with the touchpad. I feel like I'm going to give myself whiplash each time I have to reload quickly, but it's still a lot of fun to play.
- Minecraft. It is worth buying and is the first VR app I purchased. There are two modes: one is just a classic view of being in a room with a "TV" that you play MC on (so what's the point?), but the real money is when you can stomach being IN Minecraft in a first-person view. I admit, the "classic" controls are a little nauseating but it is still a very, very awesome application of VR: placing yourself IN a game. With the nature of it being a sandbox game and Creative mode, you can do anything.
- Blade Runner 2020. Not bad, but not great. It's basically just a short experience and the graphics aren't fantastic. I wish they did more with this.
- Tomb Raider VR. Another short experience, but this one felt so much cooler. I wish it was longer.
- Conflict0. A short game, but being able to put yourself in a mech is pretty cool.
- Notes on Blindness. A unique way to show the world from the perspective of a blind man's point of view. It's kind of a short documentary but even if you're not interested in documentaries, I highly recommend at least giving it a bit of your time.
If you've noticed, most of these are free, and that's because I'm cheap. However, it would be nice to know what's worth buying. I heard "Virtual Virtual Reality" may be fun thanks to its cheeky humor.
This is cool! I like to play in VR games. I know that there is a lot of intimate games on SLR, https://www.sexlikereal.com. What do you think about this site? I know that this can become an obsession, so I look only occasionally. There are passionate videogames, you must register to confirm your age and get an account.
Nature Trek is a must have for me, totally absorbing, now on an s10+ and noticed much better graphics over the s8(+), even better than the quest. Netflix is good, keep wanting to put my feet on the damn coffee table! Bait is fun and therapeutic, would never fish in the real world, but enjoy this. Dead and buried is a good zombie shooter, Rush is great fun and also enjoy Ocean Rift.
