What is not working? Did you follow the instructions that are stickied in the dev section (how to install custom recovery, roms, etc)

yes mate i did followed instruction properly
when i flashed vulerable recovery.sbf using rsd lite the process was successful but when i tried to go to recovery mode the custome recovery didint ran and i was having the normal recovery mode..i think that the sbf file i flashed was not the one i need?? plz help mate i have trashed my milestone even further need to install custom mod like anything

It happened with me too. You do this-go to androinani (might be spelled wrong) page on xda developers, its in motorola milestone android development and then download open recovery from there. Then connect phone to your pc and first extract files from the .zip you just downloaded and then put them in your sdcard. Then boot into normal recovery and press apply update.zip.
See if this works. I had the same problem but now I don't have it.
Note that you download open recovery from the website given on the androidaini page only and then try.

Ahhh thnx bud...i figured out the problem....bootloader 90.78 needs a new revovery.sbf patched eith ramdld 90.78 nyways no m on cm6 finsll

i flashed clockworkmod recovery 5.8.1.3 touch, and i need to send my P970h to service.
how can i remove clockworkmod recovery 5.8.1.3 and come back to stock recovery ?
i love to read the forum its full in useful information, and its hard to keep track with all the great developers in here.

How To Root GT-I9305

Hi xda developers,im not soo good with phone but i have one samsung galaxy s3 GT-I9305.I need to root them and to install cwm recovery.Problem is i dont now how to make them.The Android Version is 4.4.4 - Baseband is I9305XXUFOA1 - Kernel is 3,0,31-3447006 [email protected] . no need to root if you want to install a custom recovery, just flash the preferred recovery and boot into it after flashing. If needed you can flash supersu via recovery to gain root access

this thread should explain everything you need to know. If you want to install a custom recovery, download the .tar-file for CWM here https://mega.nz/#!Y5ERVQyS!Z80pUYlthdxZKXmFCmDbPr0SuqOyGIxXO0wySDNkigY and follow the instruction in the linked thread.
As mentioned after installing the custom recovery don't reboot your phone. Otherwise your custom recovery gets overwritten with stock recovery. You need to boot custom recovery first.
