is there any way to get back the sprint voicemail and sprint tv apps?
have you tried pushing or installing the Apps from one of the 2.1 roms?

I have already upgraded to the EVO, and am going to be giving my GF my old hero. I am on Fresh Rom right now, and it doesnt seem to have the phone codes installed so I can activate it on her account. does anyone know where I can find a rooted stock rom, or a different custom rom that has the phone codes installed so I can activate this phone on another account? Thanks in advance.
Nevermind, I found what I was looking for.
okay so im on appalachian wireless with their version of the droid. i had a hero before and rooted it/ flashed roms on it and it would mess up the prl settings but i could still text/make calls. My droid is rooted and i wanna flash a rom would my texting and voice still work on it or would i have to do somthing to get it to work?
Are there any froyo roms that still have mobitv?....I cant find a apk that works with my att captivate....so i guess i need to go to a rom that still has it.
I previously had the hero rooted to Android 2.2 and now have a new phone. Now here comes the funny part...my mother wants my hero since I don't use it anymore. So I was wondering how I could put back the sprint's official 2.1 release because the phone being rooted won't let the "sprint guys" change phone numbers for my mom lol. Thanks in advance!
try to find a stock rom or i'm not sure if fresh lets you do it.....

i guess try this one.....
you could flash liquid sense or any sense rom (other than froyo sense) to activate, if you want to get rid of root all together go here and get the RUU for the 2.1 update and flash that from the bootloader

Click to collapse
Go to sprints website HERE to download the RUU
Run it, go through the steps and it will return your phone completely back to 2.1 stock
nvm I was beaten to it
So this is my first time using a non-stock ROM, and this might be incredibly stupid--but I can't find any information elsewhere.
I just switched to Cyanogenmod on my HTC One and now I'm trying to activate with Sprint it but I literally have no idea how. The only info Sprint has is to go through their "hands free activation" but that's only prompted when you use the stock Sense ROM, and I don't have any backups to that ROM.
Any ideas on how to get it up and running again?
