He has to input the correct APN settings for O2...
Just search the net for 02 APN settings.
Then go to, Settings>Wireless & network>Mobile networks>Access Point Names.
Input the corrects values in both sections.
Worked a treat thank you

You're welcome.
I recently got my vivid and when I got it the lte wasn't working so I found what I needed to change the apn and I copied everything verbatim and now my mms isn't working. I made sure everything was correct and even deleted the apn and redid it but still my pictures get stuck in a continuous sending loop. Any help would be appreciated. Here are screenshots of my settings, maybe I missed something?

Just do this...
1) go to your local att store
2) ask for an LTE compatible sim (if you have one skip to 3)
3) ask them to enable LTE on your phone...no you won't be charged extra, no your plan won't be changed...everything will be the same except you now have LTE (this can also be done over the phone)
4) use the stock (PTA) apns
5) enjoy LTE and mms
Again...nothing above will cost you money (well...I guess there's gas) you will keep your plan...no hidden fees or extra charges or higher cost for phone bill...EVERYTHING THAT RELATES TO MONEY WILL STAY THE SAME

I have all that done already. Just left the att and they couldn't figure it out

So you don't have lte then...your using hspa+ (which shows as 4g I believe) Its impossible to set up lte by your self...because att has to enable it for your number...you can set up mobile internet on your own but you can't set up lte on your own (unless you hack into att systems and change it your self )
Just call att and tell them to enable lte for you...then use stock apns and enjoy download speeds of over 20mb/s (assuming you have late where you live)

I have LTE and I got everything working. When I got the phone the apn was programmed only to run on the hspa+ to save battery life and so I just went and changed the apn and enabled the LTE again (i do have it where I live I get between 25mb/s to 38mb/s depending on time of day) but when I changed the apn my mms stopped working so I just decided to delete all the apn's on the phone and start over and now everything is working as it should. That also seemed to fix the random restarts cause I haven't had a single restart since I've done that though may just be coincidence

no data
Hello,
I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I am facing a similar issue (no 3g) and have not been able to resolve in a very long time.
I have the T-mobile original Galaxy Tab. I am using it on a different network (outside the US) though. I am running Sapir-10-20121207 (Android 4.1.2).I have tried both the eurotab (firmware P100XXJK5) and the t-mobile (T849UVJJB) modem.bin. With either firmware I get a cell signal but there is no data connection at all. Neither 2g nor 3g. It just doesn't get data. I double checked the APN info with the provider and it all matches.
I also tried changing the "APN type", but regardless of what I put there, if I go out of the APN setting screen and come vack it always changes back to "default, supl".
What could be the reason for no data?
Thank you.
Try newer ROM, and make sure your IMEI is correct.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using xda app-developers app
Thank you for the answer. Do you think it's the only option? I am really dreading re-setting everything up after upgrading to a newer version of the ROM. Or is there a way to upgrade while saving apps and settings?
Thank you!
Can anyone help? I am using an AT&T unlocked HTC One with Straight Talk sim, and after Kit Kat upgrade I can't send or receive pics or connect to WiFi. Get no help from HTC, and have gone over my APN settings with Straight Talk. Don't know what my options are to fix problem. Appreciate any help I can get...

Have you tried a factory reset?
Sent from my GT-I9305 using xda app-developers app
Thank you for responding. I was going to do that as a last resort. I was reading in forums that I need to root my phone. Something bout me having Straight Talk makes Kit Kat not work right. And that after root I need to put a couple apps from play store on my phone for changing APN. I have changed APN couple times, but they said the apps will allow me to access it differently. I am computer il-lit-rate, and don't have a clue. I figured I'd read all I can before going further. Thank you...

This has happened on a few VZW phones and the only way to fix is to flash a stock rom/reactivate. So... yeah.

I am not rooted if that makes a difference.
So I would need to factory reset and then get with Verizon to reactivate the SIM?

Go into settings then SMS then access point names. I use T-Mobile and for some reason metropcs was selected. Try to select the AP that fits your carrier

APNs are set by the SIM on Verizon, this is neither an option nor needed.
The APN setting that needs to be changed is within google hangouts

I wasn't using Hangouts, but I tried it. The APN was already set to VZW (there were a dozen APNs in settings, but all the same). I tried it on LTE, but still no dice.

It has to deal with the activation, i'm sure. This has happened to me once or twice on my N2 and S3. I had to reflash back to a completely stock FW, reactivate, and flash back. No clue how it works, but it sounds like it happens when activating the phone. If this happens, there might not be a fix since there is no VZW FW/activation/etc. I spent ages playing in APN and cell settings (the hidden one in dialer.)
Try this, send a text, let it hang, and then toggle LTE off and then back to on again. If it sends, this issue is most likely very similar to those other issues on Samsung.
