Overclocking

Is it possible ? I really want to speed this baby up to decent speeds. Ive used the kaiser tweak and i still find it slow.
Worst of all my friends make fun of it for being so slow ;_;

Hi,
Have you tried a custom ROM? i use dutty's lite 6.1 rom, and it flyus, 10 times faster than the HTC Rom's, even switching from landscape to portrait etc, takes less than a second. (with HTC roms, it usually takes 3ish)
Scrolling through the windows directory, and opening programs is alot faster too.
Worth a bit of testing before you cook your CPU.

Will i need windows 6.1 for it ...?
Can you also please link me to the tweak , and also to WM6.1 if needed?
I currently have 6.0 , Thanks
Doesn't exist yet. Read the sticky in ROM development for more information. This thread is closed, very redundant.

Super Fast TouchFlo 3D

I think I found something. I loaded Teksoft's SpeedBooster and increased "start" to highest and Bip to above normal, and touchflo 3d is supder duper fast. Mem stays at 51mb, but still so fast its crazy. Someone check it out and let me know if this is a valid boost or a smoke screen.

this has nothing todo with "ROM Development", in future can you please post this in that forum.
moved this thread ..!
But it does
It does have something to do with ROM development, I should have been crystal clear, what the question was that what I wanted to know from the ROM devs is what this software tweaks in order to create the speed, I could care less for the program, I want the ROM tweaked.
tks
would like to try, but what 'Bip' is?
Think this program only sets priority to certain processes ...
Hey, what do you mean with "start" ?
But I have to thank you.
I have Navigon Navi-System on my Diamond and it is really slow, now I checked it out with Speedbuster and it was under the "normal"-level
I pushed it up to above normal and Navigon runs now quiet fast!
THX !!!

anymore infomation about this rom??!!
More stable, less error on running application. GPS fix location quicker. Anymore wanted...?
I've been using this since 28/4. Very responsive, stable and fast (after tweaking with Advance Config).
Not a single hang happens. Other benefits are:
1) Opera is really fast and responsive.
2) No memory leakage problem. Memory usage stays more or less the same even after a few days.
Language
Guys what language rom is this. WWE? and guys i cant download from this link, can you upload to easyshare pls. thank you
Password required. What is the pw?
It's in Traditional Chinese. I just tried the link and it's strange that the link was serviceable and it didn't require any password. But anyway I'll try my best to upload it to other place.

Free Program memory for Cooked Roms

My stock AT&T shows about 54% used and 86mb free with no apps or Touch Flo running after soft reset
After launchin Touch Flo - 62% used and 70mb free
scrolling through the touch flo menu once and not launching anything - 66% 64mb
opening butt load of apps including Touch Flo - 90% 18mb
closing all apps - 60% 75mb
Here is the question. How does everyone compare their stock ROM to the cooked ones? If I open more than 3 apps, I start to get slow downs. I did remove as much bloat as I could and used memmaid to clean out old stuff. Which ROMS have the best memory usage?
Thanks for the feedback.
I only see one ROM with published memory stats. I'm really trying to learn here. Are there more ROMs with published results? Thanks.
I was able to get my Raphael with new ROMS and the performance increased. The memory usage went from 110mb used to 80mb.

Well its up to the cooks to do so. The best way to find it is to flash!

Mine will have the most free memory for obvious reasons. However, mine is Sprint only.

Well my New rom Cell PRO V7.5 beats that by far and it includes alot of good stuff from leo.
I use Energy ROM photon 10/21/09-21864 version.
47% RAM used with touchFLO after soft reset
51% with scrolling
using Opera browser, watch movies, play music. after 1 day about 70-75%.
even when opening lots of apps, including Google map and opera, still <80%
47% again after reset. I can go more than 1 week without the need to reset.
Seems like this Energy ROM uses much less RAM than your ATT stock ROM.
I have my first report:
Stock ROM on boot = 70mb free
to this ROM = 100mb free
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=585403
By the way, if you run Copilot Live 8 it uses 25mb running.

Request: Display regulator app

As all of you already know, there is a huge battery drainage on WP7 HD2 devices.
In windows mobile 6.5 there was a possibility to choose the display brightness between 10-100%.
Here you have only low-medium-hight, as result that LOW is too low and medium is too high .
Do anyone of you know such an app or is anyone willing to create an app to do it same as wm 6.5 and maybe post in in the windows phone marketplace?
Thanks
Comeon guys is it so difficult to make an app for more display light settings?
It would be useful for everyone and saving a lot of battery
