[Q] CyanogenMod 6.0 Stable Released - Anyone Trying It?

CyanogenMod 6.0 has been released and supports Samsung Galaxy S but I am not sure how it will work on the AT&T Captivate. I seem to remember reading that it should work a few weeks ago when it was still in testing but am a little skeptical about installing without confirmation.
Has anyone tried this ROM on a Captivate or T-Mobile Vibrant?

Should have looked on their wiki first.
I'm trying this and will let everyone know how it goes.

I was wondering the exact same thing. I have heard a lot of praises for this ROM in general.

Going to flash this as well.

I am shocked to see the mirror posted. They said it wouldnt be supported until version 6.1 (vibrant). Wes has a Vibrant, and from all ive read that was the galaxy s unit that was being used for c-mod. Although I think I do remember someone getting an I9000, cant remember who though.

There is no cyanogen for the galaxy s line yet. That guide has been available for quite some time (and seems to just be a template) and even remarks that there is no running version for the galaxy s yet.

[Q] i897 issue?

Ok either I am just not getting this or I am doing something wrong, I have looked over most all forums and just cannot find a working lag fix... if someone could help me figure this out id be much appreciative...my Quadrant score is currently 937 and for reasons I am sure I don't have to say I would like it up to the 2200+ range

You haven't looked hard enough, basically all the roms in the dev section have a lagfix built in, pick one and install. And please don't post help questions in the dev section.

I haven't found stock gingerbread rom for samsung galaxy s i9000 i mean the one that's on nexus s, so does anyone know if there is one and if there is, my next question is that does it work properly? Thanks! I am pretty much new here so sorry for my ignorance.

reading at least u did a good job to put it in one "basket"

I was trying to update my tab P1000N to gingerbread, follow this steps: put it in download mode, I opened odin, odin detect my tab, put the pit samfrimware that said, download the software 2.3.3 for my P1000N and add the file dbdata.rfs and gave start, the load started well, but when it went to load the dbdata.rfs gave me a big FAIL, then just try to refit the previous ROM, and odin could not. Then i close Odin, i reopened, detected my tab, try to mount the previous software again, and could not, then turn off my tab and try to put it again to download mode and now is unresponsive, do nothing! and I have fear! repair of these things in my country is VERY EXPENSIVE!

I played around with odin and lost facebook and twiter. Can not ota load them from anywhere. Fb.com says i have a vision.

are u rooted ? ? if so , using root explorer , go to system\app and delete them both and reboot and then install them from the market

Yes rooted. Checked all folders no Fb any where.

Yep and using Root Explorer.
Had to allow it through the super user app.
There is no shred of Facebook or Twitter on the Tab.
As soon as i can figure out how to load CM7 it should get really interesring.

Your phone seems to be Samsung Epic 4G, right?
you should use the roms posted in the following section
