Just a question for the group -
I have been running Myn's Donut package off the SD card for a few months, thanks to all the info and help available on this forum, with no problems at all. Suddenly a few weeks back, I stopped getting any calls coming through the phone. They route directly to the voicemail, and I'm unsure as to why. The phone still works - the phone rings when I reboot through windows. For some reason, the incoming calls only snag when I'm running android. I reinstalled the package and did a reset on the phone - all with no results. I didn't see any similar posts regarding this problem on the forum, so any suggestions would be nice!
Thanks for any help-

Hi All,
Something weird happened yesterday, my tytn II stopped working normaly.
I cannot make calls anymore and people calling me get my voicemail, although it shows full reception (t-mobile). The only call works, is calling my voicemail. I didnt change anything in the phone prior to this problem.
Also the battery is dropping down very fast. Like 50% in 5 hours without using anything...
I putted my sim in another phone, it works fine, so the problem lies within the phone. I hardresetted the phone but the problem remains...
Anybody had the same problems and/or knows how to fix this???
I have an original HTC tytn II on tmobile network.
THanks!!
Jelle
found comparing problem here, probably same problem:

Any help is welcome, also for the other users with the same problem!
Thanks!
same problem
Hi,
I also have the same problem you write about. It also happened for no apparant reason. I notice that I can make calls to other mobiles that are close to my phone in proximity... odd?!
I've sent an email to HTC ... waiting on a response.
I have started getting the same sort of problem. When I try and make calls - it just won't connect. Sometimes a soft reset works - but not always. People cannot call me and I get messages about missed calls and voicemail messages.
It's starting to make my Orange TyTnII virtually unusable.
Suggestions?

Allow me to introduce you to my friends the comma (,) and the period (.).
Yikes...
sorry, was in a hurry
sorry was in a hurry when i typed this.
Now,
let me introduce to you the "Shift" key; sandwiched conveniently on both left & right sides of your keyboard!
Back to the issue,
I'd attempt a complete 100% wipe, including going back to past FW that you didn't have issues with and go from there. Alas, I'm not quite knowledgeable in this particular aspect of the G1.
Lets just hope you aren't missing a particularly urgent phone call.
Ok, Other than my grammar.
I got thedude 1.5 cupcake running.
My issue is my sister-inlaw has verizon and is unable to connect to me.
She gets no ring but I do; Then I am able to hear her but not vise-versa!!!
I didn't think my Grammar mattered when i was having an issue and wanted to get my post up ASAP so #@$% you very much for the help!!!
Sounds like a network-network issue rather than your phone being rooted. Were you able to talk to your sister-in-law fine before you rooted your phone (if you even did)?
network to network
Yes up till I flashed the radio I had no problems. After flashing I have many connection issues mostly with incoming calls. I have no problem calling back who ever calls me; Just
With incoming as far as I can tell. I know the network is flawed but i'd like to have the incoming working again. As of this post I'm running the dudes cupcake 1.0 themed with ba class 6 8 gig with 7000 m split ext2 rest apps to sds and 188 apps and latest radio via jf updater. Thx for the help.

Use the NBH file.
NBH
I've used rc29 NBH. The one to root, not sure what other one to get or use.
I've also fladhed the radio back with the jf 33 radio file. Still no luck! No incoming calls, people who call don't hear a ring but I do I try to answer and I can hear them but they can't here me or anything. I love my phone but would like to use it for calls! Thx
unroot your phone and talk to t-mo about it. when i first read the issue it seemed like it was only one person who couldn't hear you so i would have said their phone sucked, but if no one can here you then the odds of everyone else's phone sucking is pretty slim. try unrooting to see if it helps. also did you check the baseband ounder "about phone" after each radio flash? might have a problem there.
p.s. to those worried about capitalization screw off, but for future reference commas and periods are good
So, I've had a G1 for a while now, but ever since I updated my CM to 4.2.3.1 (and eventually installed EnochX theme) that my phone has had some problems regarding messages.
Either my friends receive my messages with a half hour delay (give or take) or I don't receive messages from them.
I've tried re-flashing my radio image (btw, could someone tell me if this is the correct procedure? I hope I did this the right way: just went into recovery and chose my radio image update zip), but to no avail.
Any suggestions?
Thanks to all.
PS: To answer my first poster, T-Mobile wouldn't be the answer because I bought this from the UK and am now using it on Vodafone Portugal.
Well T-mobiles been out tonight so that could be part of the problem
i had the same problem. i switched over to senseHERO and the problem is gone.
Hi I'm currently running Froyo from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...09493&page=603
it runs great until someone calls me. It freezes when I answer the call..is this a ram issue? I haven't tried texting or other messaging. I recently ran Gingerbread from the same thread and it froze after trying to run google maps, after which i couldn't get haret to run again.
I did a hard reset then installed froyo.
I have a HTC Warhawk (topaz) running WinMo 6.5
plz any suggestions?

Actually its not working anymore....It happens when I get a call from my brother, but whats weird is that his girlfriend (who also uses android?) can call me just fine. He has a regular cellphone with at&t (same company as me). He says that first it connected but then goes to my voicemail in google. (I have google voice installed). Is it a google voice support issue?
heyo FIXED IT BY INSTALLING GINGERBREAD....done
NOT:::::
I can now make calls, but I can't receive them. All incoming cals go to my google voicemail for some reason even though the voice mail is set up to be my carrier and they call me with my phone number not my google voice number.
I've found other forums such as PPc say that certain task killers will stop incoming calls and such so I'm going to uninstall it....cross my fingers
Okay update:::
I have uninstalled advanced task killer and receive calls...it just freezes the phone after 9 seconds of being connected.???!?!?!?!?!?
Is this a rooted issue
Please someone answer me.
Fixed sorta
Okay, got it all figured out, put my sleep mode = 2 or 4 and that fixed it, also underclocked it to save some battery life I put it on 450MHz instead of 528MHz
Unfortunately the GPS seems to be the new problem hopefully thejokah and gang will improve upon this soon.
Thanks guys you're doing great.
Hey guys, Basically I live in Ireland and bought my friends nexus 6 when he got a new phone.
It was working great and I rooted 5.1.1 and when I saw The (only android 6.0 available) marshmallow update available on NRT I dirty-flashed it, after seeing a thread on reddit saying dirty flashing to marshmallow hadnt caused them any device defects
Had no complaints until I tried to call my sister today (admittedly the first call id made in the first two weeks of owning the phone) and it said "Sorry you don't have access to the service"
So I played around with some reboots and sim reinserting and was surprised to see that when I changed to 2g Mode, It could make the calls! Really strange, is there any chance that the marshmallow image released on NRT would've had bands specific to US carriers?
I can make calls via whatsapp for the time being I guess Lol, but if anyone could give me a headsup as to what I did wrong ( or even a solution) Id be pretty grateful!
Thanks,
Nick
wipe data/system then flash again. you should never dirty flash between 2 different android versions. and dont listen to anyone else, i bet they do have issues.
Thanks for the help but sadly this didnt work for me at all!
Was playing around last night after I reflashed and I went to system apps and on seeing telephone and phone (two seperate apps , normal?) I disabled 'phone' for a second and could place a call successfully over 3g - but obviously with no dialer interface whatsoever because the app was disabled. Ive rooted and custom flashed alot of my phones but this has me puzzled
I had this problem on a previous phone. What happened is that it was stuck on LTE only. I know this phone has volte, but try messing with mobile connection
