I bring you 3 tweaks for the status bar area of your Droid. These are installed with MetaMorph. I want to thank haledroid for allowing me to change up his Wireless signal theme.
These were tested on a Droid 1, make sure you do backup before installing and again, these are MetaMorph themes

New 3G signal meter for the status bar area. the top row shows E,H,G signal in blue and 1x signal in yellow and 3G signal in green. If all grey then connection is present for any signal.
The top color is inbound and bottom color is outbound for row 2 and 3
Download -3g signal arrows
Next is the new Wireless signal meter. This will show the status of the Wireless signal as shown above for signal strength
Download - wireless signal colorful
The last tweak is the Colorful round battery indicator as shown above. This will show different colors during discharge and charging. The screen shot also shows the other meters in use as well.
Download - colorful battery
I downloaded wireless signal and tried on the Incredible. No love. Any suggestions on how I might get it to work? Tried applying several times, tried slower time setting in MM but nothing. It looks awesome, would love the modification. Thank you.
I dunno if the colorful battery icon is suppose to be this way, but on my phone it stays solid green 100%-50%, then yellow 40%-30%, red 30%-0%. Charging it only shows red, so at no time does it look like the picture above with the gradients or with blue anywhere. Is this how its suppose to be or is something not right on my end?

Id love a large battery bar that stretches across the entire today screen. Not just tiny bars and tiny percent signs or large battery icons that display no information. Does anything like this exist? Thanks!

Alternatively, u can try magicbutton. It has an option which allows you to distance the battery bar at the top of the screen in a discreet manner
apologies..typo error- "display" i mean
iLauncher from SBSH also offers a complete indication line for the battery (or other stuff)...
Tell us what u finally did and if u like it plz

Thats why there is an EDIT button.
I have been using "Batti 2.1" for more than 1.5 years on WM5 and WM6 devices. It has been very reliable and very small in size (~ 100 kb). It spans across the Top.

yeah i'm with steel77. batti is a very useful program. it allows you to not only choose the colour of your battery bar, but the height in pixels, percent graduations and low and critical power alarm points. all that and it stays on top in all applications. this is what you need!
wkTask also has an discrete and nicely blending bar, and is the best task manager i know (MUCH better than MagicButton which uses quite some sys ressources) .. oh and it's free of course

Wow Batti 2.1 is a kickass program for a battery bar!

Im using pbar for a while now , and i really like it.
Its a really nice program , great alternative for htc x button.
Made these for myself but thought id share there basicly very simple data icons and battery icons for in the status bar. Just thought i'd explain how they both work (kind of) so for example let's your on a 3G connection when just connected and no transfering data the whole '3G' is just grey when downloading data the bottom part of the '3G' is black and other half is grey vice versa for uploading and up&down. Data icons done, G , H , 3G , E i will do wifi and signal strenght soon also
now to explain the battery the batter when 100% the 'b' is completley green
80% turquize 'b' with a little bit greyed (missing from the top)
60% aqua 'b' with a lil bit more greyed
40 yellow 'b' with more greyed
20% orange 'b' with more greyed
10% red 'b' with most greyed andflicks round the edge for illusion of warning light
EDIT: sorry no data being recived/sent in any of screens

Thank-You it should work on most aosp roms and most froyo from i tested on cm6
I've been checking around for a few days with no luck, but i'm looking for just a simple black theme for the cell signal strength bars, not the wifi bars. I want them to disappear over the black status bar background so it needs to be a pure black or maybe just blank PNGs? Compatible with CM9(ParanoidAndroid)
Thank you so much for your time!

I'm not too sure about what you're requesting. Just blacking them out wouldn't work. You'd still have the grey that is visible when you lose signal strength, bars, etc. The only ROM (that I know of) that has the ability to actually hide the signal (data) bars is AOKP. But note, there is a blank space where the signal bars are supposed to be when they are hidden. If I could, I'd pull the source code from AOKP, take a look, and make a flashable zip file of a mod for you. But I cannot, for I'm no developer. I'm pretty sure someone on this forum would be willing to help you, you might not be the only one who wants this.

Thanks for your input.
So I was messing around with the settings, I knew the option to hide the signal bars was available in phone mode but not in tablet mode.
1. So first I hid the signal bars in phone mode
2. Then changed it to tablet mode and what do you know it worked hah
Does anyone else notice that when using Wanam Exposed that it messes with the bars in the notification area? On my phone its reporting 5 full bars with a -95 signal. My dbm in status is fine, its just the bars. It should be showing 3 bars and its showing 5. Not a big deal, but I am wondering if anyone else notices this?
Anyone know of a way to get rid of the bars and just have it show the -dbm value instead? Thanks

i would also like to know how to get DBM to show in the status bar!
Bump.
Mine also shows 5 bars at -90. It doesn't bother me either. If you want the dbm displayed, download xblast tools from xposed. It will make your signal display as -95. Hope that helps

yeah i found it shortly after my first post. But thanks for posting for all others! XBlast has a somewhat difficult UI. To get the Dbm in the status bar...
go into xblast -> status bar (should be the first option) -> then icons (not an intuitive name) -> mobile signal type -> text
and reboot.

Thanks. This is exactly what I was looking for.
I have two problems with the notification bar on my Edge 20 with Android 12 Stock ROM, which are extremely annoying!
The bar is hidden on the home screen. It only shows up when I'm in an app. When I wake up the phone, I don't even see if I've got any messages:

Iif I pull down the bar, the clock disappears. Extremely tedious, for example, if you write to someone via the bar on WhatApp and then don't know what time it is and have to close the bar again:
Is there a way to fix this?

I believe that certain 3rd party launchers have the option to hide the statusbar clock if there is a clock widget already placed on the home screen.
I use Nova Launcher, but haven't found any coresponding settings.

I think Power Shade resolves your problem
