Hi
How is it possible that android firmware doesn't support delay for forwarded calls? I'm 3UK and to set delay for forwarded call I have to swap simcard to another mobile (Htc HD2) and then set it. I have checked 2.1 and froyo 2.2 and is the same problem. So how can I do this with Galaxy S and froyo (JPC)? Cheers
And what about other android phones? or it is just SGS without it?
I notice the same issue too...

Now that I have updated my Bell I9000M to Froyo, my call log/history is showing each text i send and receive. I receive 100's of texts a day, if I want to call back a number or someone who called me earlier, I have to search thru all of those to call back easily. (well it used to be easy in 2.1)
Any idea how to filter this list better then the option of ONLY received OR dialed calls? I want both in there if possible. If not, guess I'm stuck with received calls only lol.
Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S i9000 Android 2.2.1 with the following ROM versions:
PDA: XWJS5
PHONE: XXJPP
CSC: XXJP9
The problem is, while using GPRS, I am unable to receive any calls/SMS. I know that 3G networks fix this problem, but I'm in an area where I only have EDGE.
I was previously using the Nokia 5230 and never had this problem with it. Any tips? Maybe a different Modem/Phone ROM version that can fix this?
Any help would be great, even if just to tell me that there's no way around this!
Thanks,
JB
No one? Help please!
i have the same problem with my sgs
im on 2.2
i cant recive voice call but i recive sms while i connected to gprs
have you guys tried speaking with your operator about this ?
I remember there used to be a setting on my last nokia symbian phone whether to prioritize voice over data, didn't see the same on i9003 yet.
Need urgent help. When ever i try making calls or receive calls the other person gets a lot of noise from my side . Its very annoyoing. i have tried updating the firmware and os . No luck
Galaxy S (orginal tmobile UK) on xxjpy 2.2.1

Hi I'm currently running Froyo from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...09493&page=603
it runs great until someone calls me. It freezes when I answer the call..is this a ram issue? I haven't tried texting or other messaging. I recently ran Gingerbread from the same thread and it froze after trying to run google maps, after which i couldn't get haret to run again.
I did a hard reset then installed froyo.
I have a HTC Warhawk (topaz) running WinMo 6.5
plz any suggestions?

Actually its not working anymore....It happens when I get a call from my brother, but whats weird is that his girlfriend (who also uses android?) can call me just fine. He has a regular cellphone with at&t (same company as me). He says that first it connected but then goes to my voicemail in google. (I have google voice installed). Is it a google voice support issue?
heyo FIXED IT BY INSTALLING GINGERBREAD....done
NOT:::::
I can now make calls, but I can't receive them. All incoming cals go to my google voicemail for some reason even though the voice mail is set up to be my carrier and they call me with my phone number not my google voice number.
I've found other forums such as PPc say that certain task killers will stop incoming calls and such so I'm going to uninstall it....cross my fingers
Okay update:::
I have uninstalled advanced task killer and receive calls...it just freezes the phone after 9 seconds of being connected.???!?!?!?!?!?
Is this a rooted issue
Please someone answer me.
Fixed sorta
Okay, got it all figured out, put my sleep mode = 2 or 4 and that fixed it, also underclocked it to save some battery life I put it on 450MHz instead of 528MHz
Unfortunately the GPS seems to be the new problem hopefully thejokah and gang will improve upon this soon.
Thanks guys you're doing great.
i have galaxy tab sgh-t849 (tmobile) and i've installed the Euro firmware and modem switch. which means i either have hspa with no call functionality, or edge + voice.
does anyone know if there is a way to have both voice and hspa at the same time?
Thanks a lot !
use Skype to make your calls and set Skype up so that the receiving phone views your phone number instead of the Skype issued number. same thing effectively. If you can port your number over to Google Voice even better.

yea, i've though about that. but it will cost $$ to buy skype credit and seem like google voice doesnt really help much either.
thanks for the advice tho.
