[Q] Asus RC TweakIt Bluetooth for WM - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Themes and Apps

People who have the R.O.G. series of motherboards from Asus, can use a bluetooth application, called R.O.G. TweakIt, that enables a bluetooth-enabled device to overclock and monitor a PC over the BT link
There is a version of RC TweakIt that runs on WM 6.1 and 6.5.
My motherboard is a Rampage III Extreme, and I have installed RC TweakIt on my Kaiser (custom WM 6.1 ROM). The bluetooth link is properly configured, the application starts, but refuses to work correctly.
Has anyone with as Asus RoG motherboard had any succes running RC TweakIT on a Kaiser? If so, what's the trick?
thanks.

Is This Possible

Hi guys,
I have a touch diamond (with Telstra rom) I need to find a way to downgrade my bluetooth drivers on my device. I can hear you all asking is this guy deranged, why would anyone want to do that. Well heres the reason, I have an igo bluetooth keyboard possibly one of the greatest gadgets that has made my life a tone easier when using email. But the drivers that it has dont seem to work with my device as it does not recognise that i have bluetooth at all. This keyboard has worked with my touch dual (20key 850mhz) but not with the diamond. Is there a fix for this.
Thanks
Rather than downgrading your Diamond's bluetooth drivers, have you tried upgrading the bluetooth keyboard drivers instead to the latest available version ?
I have an original Stowaway bluetooth keyboard. I downloaded the WM5 drivers from:
http://corporate.igo.com/support/do... Support/PPC5/En/dr/Think Outside ppc5 En.zip
and the keyboard works perfectly on the Diamond even though it is running WM6.1
Good luck
Thank you that worked great!!!

Broadcom Bluetooth Stack For X1

Can Anyone Help Me To Find An Working Broadcom Bluetooth Manager Stack For My Xperia?
any wm5+ version would work
I'd suggest you search the forum with those keywords
but to tell you the truth I haven't come across any braodcom stacks
since wm2003SE so not 100% sure there are any but haven't really looked that hard
Out of curiosity, what functionality are you hoping to gain by switching stacks?
will
i tryed hard looking for keywords using google and i have seen many CABs but they didnt work because of the license,
and sonus i think that Broadcom Bluetooth Stack its much more professional than the normal ,i think Broadcom Stack has much more bluetooth plugin`s than the other plus you feel free when using it
so anyone have a idea where i can download it free and it must be for wm 6.1 or 6.5
There was a working cab to change Dell X51v MS BT stack to Broadcom. But you probably need some hacking in order to make it work for other device. Broadcom stack has more profile but also has it's own problems (e.g. system volume control is not working over A2DP). Do a search on TP2 forum (since it's using broadcom stack) and you will find out.
Why would you want a Broadcom stack? I spent 2 months trying to get a Microsoft Stack on my A696 which only supports Broadcom. It was a frustrating and fruitless exercise, though I did manage to get an upgraded version of Broadcom working at one point it didn't work very well and didn't do anything my old version didn't do already. None of the Microsoft ones would run at all though, and I tried just about every trick possible.
With the Microsoft Stack you can use fun things like Bluetooth Mice and Keyboards - something not yet supported by Broadcom stacks. I'd stick with that imho - its quite fun and useful
That search to try to get a bluetooth mouse to work with my A696 PDA is why I'm registered as pdamouse...

It might help solve the disconnect issue with WM devices and several handsfree devices.
I just tried one of the WM 6.5 Roms on my Kaiser (TYTN2).
It will still disconnect the headunit in my car (Kenwood DNX8220BT) after a call is finished. I was hoping WM6.5 would improve the Bluetooth stack.
I also have an Experia X1 which is exhibiting the same issue

Not wanting to came across as a seller, but have you heard of Teksoft BlueInput?
They're almost there!
How do I know this? I'm the one who asked Teksoft to build such a a program!
Been using several HID devices with my MS bluetooth stack WM phones, last years. Even a Logitech diNovo Mini, a "small" keyboard with touchpad.

TP2 Bluetooth drivers for the TP (Raphael)?

The Touch Pro (Raphael) has had bluetooth problems for a long time when connecting with certain vehicles (in my case an Altima with the nav system) - history of the problem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=346970
It sounds like (from the last page above, as well as other threads around the web) the Touch Pro 2 comes with bluetooth drivers that fix the issue. I see that HTC also issued an update for the CDMA Touch Pro's which may have solved the problem, but unfortunately I've got the Fuze (GSM).
Does anyone know if it's possible to load the TP2 drivers onto the Fuze, or if anyone has created a package for that?
I have a similar problem but it is with using RSAP (sim access profile) in Audi vehicles. I know someone who has upgraded to a TP2 and the problem is fixed so i would like to know if this is possible.
Is the bluetooth stack part of the rom or something embedded in the device?

SE bluetooth profile for title transmission

Hi,
I don't actually own a SE x1 but recently bought a MW600 bluetooth headset which should display title information when playing media files. This feature is available on SE phones (as I've already tested) but doesn't work with other phones (such as my HTC Touch Diamond running a custom WinMo ROM).
Since the X1 is running WinMo, I believe that there should somewhere be a special protocol extension which transmits the track info to the headset. When I pair the headset with my Win7 desktop it is as well missing one device driver, which might be the protocol as well.
Is someone aware of this extension and could uncook it from a stock X1 rom? I would be very pleased.
Thx in advance
afaik, no windows mobile app natively supports this feature, but there is an app called smartwatchm (google it and you'll find it.. yes, don't forget the 'm' at the end) you can install which will activate this feature for WMP. There are other features as well but i stopped using it because it was too buggy for me.
thx for the tip. just tried it, but my device is not supported. But maybe in the future. I'll keep that in mind

nook color + GPS over BT using windows 6.1,6.5 phone

Hello to all of you.
I would like to share some information for people interested in pairing winMOBILEphone to nook as GPS provider.
I am using this setup:
Nook color: ROM - Phiremod 6.1 -stock kernel
- Bluetooth GPS Provider app from the market
WinPhone: HTC TYTN2 - Kaiser: ROM almost any, tried several 6.1 & 6.5.
(also tried on Xperia-X1, HTC HD2, Touch Diamond2)
- aplication for sending GPS over BT: Franson GPSgate
Run GPSgate as server, set it up to sent over BT. no problem to pair with NOOK, run some aplication like GPS test to initialize the GPS device on the phone. Then you should see on the nook in Bluetooth GPS Provider app that is recieveing signal.
Hope this might help somebody.
Thanks, I may try this out later.
