After installing XXJPK my phones product code has changed to kor.
I came to know that only after reading other threads.
What difference does it really make if I keep that as it is?

Is there any way to tell where my note came from or is it to late? I've already updated to Kl7. When I received it it was in a language that I didn't understand but I navigated through well enough to change the language to English.

I also have the same question. I purchased it off the internet, and wondered which country it was imported to from Samsung originally.
Attached is a photo of the sticker on the back on my phone. I figured "Fabrique en Coree par Samsung' is French?
Look at the last 3 digits if the software version then cross check it with the master list of stock ROM in the development thread. Mine was KKA so its from Switzerland

Real quick. I searched the forums and couldnt find out how to unlock the LG Thrill P925 is there any specific method. All I could find was how to get internet working thanks
Yes please. I want to unlock too. I don't wanna pay first for a code that may or may not work.

I heard you can call at&t and get an unlock code

HaHA you sure can. Just got two of em with an obviously bogus story about me and the wife goin do some specialized training in Europe. Now I gotta get custom carrier! Lol

I didn't even give them a story. I went online and did a support inquiry and said I need the unlock code. They asked for the number in the phone and the next reply had the unlock code.
I've heard some trashtalk but I personally like at&t. I'd keep em if they weren't so frigging expensive.

One month ago I bought a note n7000 on O2 UK, I bought through www, cellunlocker, net an unlock code,
They sent me the codes, unlock, network, defreeze, ect....
I tried with GB the four methods they say, and inpossible unlock. Later I tried with ICS, and just the four method ask me for the unlock code, but when I introduce it, the phone says unlock not succesful.
I went to a unlock shop and after 5 hours, they return me the phone, because they say, they can't unlock the phone as well. They don't know what kind of problem to unlock it has the phone.
Anybody with the same problem? Because I don' think that my phone is the special one of Samsung.
Any help will be grateful.
It might be easier to get o2 to provide you with the unlock code

First wrong section
Second if you have invalid imei get your money back
Changing imei its ilegal and we don't discus about such things here...

Sorry dude, it's obviously a dodgy handset, return it, or claim as a dud purchase. You can't restore imei's legally without operator agreement.

shut up idiot
My N7100 comes up as K770 Cybershot on one database and on another it comes up as an N7100. It could be an error in the database you are looking at. Is your imei when you dial *#06# the same that is listed on label underneath the battery? If not I would try to get your money back. If they are the same contact Samsung Tech support and see if they say it is correct. Now if your imei was changed but it still works on the carrier, don't worry about, you have already been screwed so just make the best of it. If the carrier catches on, they will just turn service off on the phone. It's not worth the effort for any phone company or government agency to pursue legal action for one phone.
As for Dudley Do Right, chill out. He mentioned that his imei was possibly changed, not asking how to change it or explaining how to change it.
Notice this post is 2 months old.

man, are you really going to help him that way?
Anybody know what these model numbers are. I'm supposed to get a replacement device from moto but for some reason it mentions that model. I hope I'm not receiving the wrong device. Does anybody know about this?

I found this from an older thread. They mentioned those model numbers in there. Hopefully that can answer your question
