"Mirror mirror on the wall, who has the most useful links of them all?"

AND AS ALWAYS....I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOU DO TO YOUR PHONE AND NIETHER ARE THE PARTIES THAT CREATED THE WORK I AM LINKING. THANK YOU.

Just a quick peek reveals that some of these files' MD5 hashes do not match the original. Download at your own risk.
Dude, if you are going to rehost, triple, quadruple check the hash values, or people will think you are trying to infect them with something.
My recommendation for the mods is just to sticky this entire thread.

Its ok you're not being an ass, thats actually a very legitimized request. But as of right now I'm not sure...we'll see how this thread goes for a while. If it proves to be useful, and doesn't get trashed by a bunch of flamers then I will update it in alphabetical order...along with the newest dowloads/links.

I have adjusted my font. I don't think that you have any ill intent. However, if I were you I would edit the original post to point to the original files.
As it sits right now, the files that you are hosting are NOT THE SAME as the original files.

You are so very welcome! As that was the benefit I intended to give everyone.
OK first things first.:
Download some sort of MD5 checker. Personally, I use DigestIT 2004 http://www.colonywest.us/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=56
You can download the file and then compare the MD5 hash value with this program.
Make sure that the MD5 hash of the file that you host is the same as the MD5 hash as the file that you post to your re hosting site.
This ensures that the file that you are hosting is the same as the original file.

Actually no. there were two different links of that. I had the original releasd by J_rodd a long time ago, but I will update with your version to be on the safe side, but the one I have did and still does work. So for anyone who has downloaded it already please do not be alarmed.

First and foremost let me say that there are some GREAT ROMs out here already. SkyRaider has always been my daily runner, but there were a few things I found myself tweaking regularly. In the spirit of "you can never have too many options" I have put together a custom ROM based on SR3.3.2 with his SP2 release baked in. Additional changes are listed in the changelog below.
I take no credit for this ROM. All the hard DEV work has been done by others. I just took what I liked and put together my own.

This is the older 2.2 base. This was a ROM I put together a few months back. I am currently putting some finishing touches on a new ROM based off of Skyradier's latest build. I have added/changed several things, including the TouchWiz launcher.
I hope to have a link up shortly along with screenshots.
Thanks for the update...

B) I am close to releasing the updated one. I have it flashed to my phone and have been using it for a couple days. There are just a few kinks I would like to work out before releasing...

Hi Paul
Thanks for the quick release.
Quick question. What is insecure boot and what is deodexed? I've only flashed a few roms before, thanks.
Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App
My early ROM is a stock ROM - this is optimised, deodexed for themers and will be getting all the usual extra MCR stuff.

hi, very good rom, thank you.
Only one question; is possible have different screen for phone home display and locked phone display? i can set only home display
No. Actually if you look more closely, you could see that lockscreen doesn't have background image at all.

first I want to thank you for this awesome rom
I've had cyanogen mod 6 on my legend before and I'm much more satisfied with this one, so thanks.
BUT there is one major problem -> I can't connect with my mobile internet
has anyone else experienced this?
GladiAtrix for OLYFR_U4_1.2.6 v1
(Replacing Adeo)
Since designgears has left the Atrix community, I'll be taking over development of the Adeo rom. I've updated it with a cleaner installer that incorporates aRoot into it. This is good for anyone who doesn't want all the extra elements of GingerBlur, or are running 1.2.6. This has everything Adeo v0.2 and aRoot had, with a streamlined install that should help eliminate some of the issues people were having with ADB not recognizing the phone.
This is only for AT&T phones running firmware version 1.2.6. If you have 1.5.2 please go here: GladiAtrix for 1.5.2
Come chat with us!
Features:
Standard Features
Deodexed
Reboot Option/Recovery
Removed power options header
Ad Blocking
Unknown Sources checkbox
Preferred install location (internal, sdcard, let system decide)
Optional Features
Root
Tethering APN
Sideloading
init.d support
Installation instructions:
Read the instructions all the way through before starting
Read them again and make sure you understand them
Download the file from the link below
Extract the files to any folder
Connect your phone with USB debugging, set USB mode to none (unsure if this is required, but I always do it to be safe)
Run INSTALL.bat
Follow the on-screen instructions for rooting, sideloading, tethering APN, and init.d support, they are all optional.
Confirm installation of the ROM
Wait PATIENTLY for it to finish and reboot your phone
Read disclaimer below
DISCLAIMER: I've only tested this on my device. I ran it twice to be sure, once with aRoot already run, once without, both on fresh SBF reflash. I am not responsible if this bricks you.

Thanks for taking over, Glad we still have some devs left.
Thanks. Good job.
Just flashed it works perfect. didnt see any problems
Just FYI, I forgot to remove the 'rem' statement from the first line of the batch file. Everything still works, but if you don't want to see all the stuff it's doing in the background (gibberish to most people), find the line:
Code:
rem @echo off
and change it to:
Code:
@echo off
it's the very first line of install.bat.

You're on 4.1.57, also called 1.57 or 1.5.7. All three of those are the same thing. This script will not work for you, as it's only for users on 4.1.26.

Finally made a new test version very much after the fact:
Notice:
This one is a test version, it is a unified zip for all dell devices.
It REQUIRES CWM 6.0+ or TWRP 2.2+ (for the S7/S10) to install.
It is not compatable with streakmod. (for the S5)
As a bonus, I made it so it includes the permissions file so anyone using that can also use the Dell Stage 1.7 widgets from the market if they wish.
The widgets themselves are not actually bundled, download them off the market if you want, otherwise you dont need to do anything.
update-Gapps-ICS-20907-b1.zip
Contents:
Gapps: 4.0.4-422743
Market: 3.8.17
Supports neon and non-neon devices now (ie S7/S10)
missing text2speech voices from previous versions
Things I'm still missing (ie they're very out of date)
MarketUpdater
OneTimeInitialzer 4.0.4-338691
com.google.widevine.software.drm.jar
If nothing is broken (due to Gapps), I will finish preparing Gapps Opt/ICS.
I've been able to seperate better (I think) the optional files from the required ones.

I finally got it straight thx.
So are these gapps supposed to be more up to date than the goo.im package. Or is there a different benefit?
They're half a year newer, and are unmodified.
The goo.im ones are deodexed repacks, these are straight out of donor roms.
The latter part doesnt actually affect anything, it's just because I'm OCD on liking my apks unmodified whenever possible (and reasonable)
google talk isnt included in this? and google card works for our device?
Gtalk isnt included, it's normally included in the gapps-optional package.
Reason I havnt included in this release is that there's 2 varients, tegra2 and everything else.
I'll likely finish up the optional package and release that next week.
I'll be updating gapps for 2.3/3.2/4.0 (and mabye 4.1) soon.
I havnt been getting much in the way of feedback, if I did I would likely be more consistant in my updating of this.

Only issue I had was the install. Using CWM, it appeared to install but didn't but did from TWRP.

1 request.... and totally greedy on my part
Would you consider creating inverted gapps packages? The inverted apps use less battery... perhaps slightly but still better non the less. Also, from an aesthetic standpoint, darker images and backgrounds blend well with ICS and up
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Sorry, but that's the oppisite of my long term strategy: My endgame is to have unmodified and verified good files for everything.
you can simply overwrite the original ones if you wish, and it'll flash your modified version
What color is the invert one? from my understanding: white is good for lcds and black is good for oleds.

I always have a black inverted setup on my devices. No worries mate, I understand there are gapps packages around I can flash on top if/when need be to satisfy my liking for appearance. As I said, greedy request. But I like the close to official as possible approach and if I get a package with modified apk's that proves to play nice... I will share my findings. One I am thinking of off the top of my head is called JusTun Bean (JB inverted apps) which comes as a quick flash .zip or in an aroma installer. They've worked across all my devices pretty well. A quick search in xda will show links.
I apologize if my statement about battery life being improved may not be accurate, I kind of just assumed it was better for one screen type... it was better for all. My bad
Thanks again for the packages
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
I cant actually confirm my statements, but from what I know:
oleds generate light, so less light = less power
lcds have a backlight, and they block light, so less blocking = less power
Just like I said though, there's nothing keeping you from simply replacing the files in the zips with your own customized versions.
You can even redistribute them if you have permission from the original modder.
(if you do though, keep it in the apps subforum as it falls under theme modding)
Updated HC-Opt: added gmail, gmail isnt available on the market for HC, and only HC
Edit: It turns out that some of the apks are marked as backwards compatable to previous versions of android.
If there are any volunteers on 4.0/CM9 willing to test: i'm going to make experimental versions that use apks from 4.1 that are marked as being able to run on 4.0.
(some of them from stock 4.2 are even marked compatable as far back as 2.2, but i only need 4.0 testers as I dont have any live devices with it)
Needless to say, the ones made for 4.1 are newer, and it would simplify the update zips (not to mention it might have more features)
Did initial test on running apks on earlier versions of android: they dont work, it's likely the manifests are not tagged correctly.
Any future versions for 3.2/4.x will move gSearch/gNow/gVoiceSearch into the optional bundle, as they're not really required components.
You are still recommended to install them though if you do use them: gSearch/gNow/gVoiceSearch need to be placed into /system/app to integrate into the stock launcher (ie the special search bar widget) to function.
Simply installing it from market will allow it to work, but it wont tie into the stock launcher.
There might be a new ICS gApps version soon, depending on how things pan out
GoogleEars (google sound search) is apparently available on the market.
Future versions of gapps will remove it as it is already available on the market.
Edit: I will also be examining GoogleTTS closer, it seems that the language synthesis data can be downloaded from within the app. If this is the case, I will remove the langauge data and the user can simply download whichever one desired. There is also the fact this would remove the necessity of making sure you have the latest language data (though I do not expect that it changes that frequently)
