Normal day to day and business travel I use my 1.9TD Xantia estate, does about 45mpg on vegetable oil.
Fun car is my Xantia Activa, 2.0L CT, 150bhp, can handle 0.94 lateral G (perfect for roundabouts), but only does 20mpg on a good day. The V6 version tops the moose test.

When I was in university in NY, I used to drive a 1995 Toyota Camry.
That car lasted about a year. I drove recklessly back then and almost got myself killed in an accident. The Camry was totaled.
For about 5 years, I drove a 1997 Ford Taurus. Adopted defensive driving habits. Led to zero-accidents and generally less stressful times behind the wheel.
I moved from the US after graduation so I gave the Taurus to my cousin. He completely wrecked it after a couple months. Sigh...
I'm looking to move back to the US in the next few years. Will probably get some sort of compact SUV. (I'm now married and my wife is expecting twin boys in Feb.) Perhaps a Toyota RAV4 or a Ford Escape.
I drive a Toyota Tacoma - Double Cab 4x4 2007.
Also a Honda Civic 2008.

Bought the 140bhp diesel because it accelerated better than the 2.0 Petrol, and I couldn't afford the insurance on the 3.2 V6!!
But the main toy is the 1996 Yamaha Thunderace:
Spookily, this is 140bhp as well, but goes rather better than the car does!
Apologies for the pathetic pic of the bike, realised when looking for one I haven't got a decent pic. Have to sort that out this summer!

I don't know why the above poster claims we have no super cars this side of the 'Pond' .... But i have seen a local Maserati MC12 and a Lamborghini Reventon' in Vancouver during the Olympics. Lots of Gallardos and Merci's .. F430's seem common around town now .. haha . well not uncommon .. but i have seen at least half a dozen around my city.
I can walk to a Ferrari/Lamborghini dealership from my office. I see way too many of the things around here.
I saw some kind of Ferrari like a year ago around here. Like 5 years ago I saw a Gallardo. On one street, theres an R8 I see every time I drive by. Its kind of in the Audi dealership lol.

I did not say there are no super cars over here. The OP asked for pictures we have taken, I posted 3 cars that are not everyday cars (at least around here)
My statement was those 3 do not fall under the "super car" classification. The Viper and M10 are exotic "Muscle Car" and the DeLorean is just exotic.

No pics, as I didn't have a phone with camera on it for a bit. There was a Lamborghini that shows up now and again at my son's school. Also some higher-end Mercedes. Occasionally see a Bentley around town as well.
Only odd if you consider that I live in a tourist town of around ~6k people.
..............
A couple of cars from Cannes. I've also seen a Bugatti Veyron (but didn't have time to take a pic of it ), Lamborghini Gallardo/Murcielago, at least 86 Aston Martin DB9's, and overall the badest freaking cars in the world. so, since there's 0 people here that would actually know who i am, or recognize my screen name, i figured i'd share this anyways since it's a huge thing for me and my family.
in 1980 i started bmx racing. now, my oldest son has been racing for 3 years and now my 5 and 2 year olds have started racing this year. at the beginning of this year, i was asked to be a part of a committee in building a large indoor racing facility about an hour away from our house.
we planned, we built and we opened october 15th.
what we built was a national pro-am track, a super cross track and bike shop under 1 roof. we will have week long training programs for kids 8-17. we will have weekend clinics for training, hold regular race weekends and will be open during the week days for practice.
it's been a long year and a lot of work, but it all paid off opening day when we had nothing but great reviews of the track from riders.
we still have a lot of work, and we are currently closed again to repair some roof sections. right now, i am designing the network for the building and we will have login so when riders arrive, they can login to the network, which will sign them in for racing and charge them the race fees. making registration simple. we will also have large monitors to display race info as well as live cams setup at various sections of the track to broadcast on the monitors and eventually live stream on the internet as well. i'm hoping to have all of this done by the time we reopen in a couple of weeks.
anyhow, here are some pics of the building and from opening day

That's a great achievement! It must have taken a huge amount of work to set up.
There were two BMX tracks near to where i grew up and i spent all my time out riding mine. I have to ask, did you ever ride a Raleigh Burner or Silverfox, way back in the halcyon days of your youth? So I just bought my FIRST car. My First Vehicle was my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee it had 78,000 miles in Oct 2008. I was 16. Well Friday I`m now 21 I went to a dealership and ending up Leaving with a BRAND new car! My Jeep had 188,127 miles on it at time of trade in. I just really been wanting something with Better Gas and I do LOVE the car! I got a decent deal a Brand new 2014 Kia Soul. But once I took my stuff out of my Jeep Ive just been emotional yes I know I`m not afraid to admit that about My Jeep when I left. Don`t get me wrong I LOVE my new Car its Amazing! But the memories I`ve had in my car mostly the last 4 years and Just being inside my Jeep I`m missing :/ If I could had the extra $2,700 which I got on Trade in I`d just keep it and or buy it back from them to have for Hauling trash & When it Snows.
Anyone ever run into this issue? and How long did it take for things to get better?
I post here a lot and this is my first real off-topic Post
Not at the moment I sold mine, I had the car for almost 10 years. Went away with a new Ford Fiesta.
My first kiss was in that car.
I went to school and later to college with the same car.
I got my first job interview with it.
Got my first real job with it.
Had lots of fun, including skidding off the road when it was real slippy (managed to steer is to safety, drift style, lol).
10 years without major repair.
Until my new car broke down (after 4 years). I thought, new tech are so unreliable. That when I missed my old car.

It has 210k milleage(Hes been driving this car for 8 years since i was a kid) and keeps this car because it has alot of memories. And he says new cars with all those technology makes the car repair expensive while old cars are cheap.
I dont know why doesnt he sell this ****. The car is dirty from inside and old.

Are you spending too much time downloading ROM's, and not enough keeping fit?
Generally, a lower heart rate at rest implies more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness.
To measure your heart rate, simply check your pulse. Place your index and third fingers on your neck to the side of your windpipe. To check your pulse at your wrist, place two fingers between the bone and the tendon over your radial artery — which is located on the thumb side of your wrist.
When you feel your pulse, count the number of beats in 15 seconds. Multiply this number by 4 to calculate your beats per minute.
Use this chart to see what your RHR should be for someone your age:

Mine is 60BPM, which for my age is excellent. What is yours...?
67. I shd èxercise more
70
According to Runtastic (Why waste time counting it yourself when both your Note 3 and S5 can count your heartbeats? ) 67 beats per minute, which is fine for a 23 year old woman whose only excersize is running after public transport whilst lugging about a 25kg backpack.
Nobody so far in danger of prematurely popping their clogs, so to speak! That's good to know. No athletes either though!
By the way, Pro Cyclist Miguel Indurain, who won five consecutive Tours De France had a RHR of 28BPM!
