does anyone know how to add wallpapers into adw launcher so when i install the .apk they are in and ready for selection. I know that in the res files their are small and large images of each wallpaper but when i go to add or remove other wallpapers they just show up as blanks
Yeah, kinda wondering the same thing here....Anybody?

Can you explain what you mean. i really don't get you. do you mean auto switch wallpapers? there are some apps for if you search you will find it. i never used such kind of app so i don't know how it will work with ADW
Yeah, nobody has answered this because I presume nobody understands the actual question..
You change Wallpaper the same way you do in every launcher, long-press on the background or the menu button.
i'm making a rom, and in adw launcher apk there is a folder, it has wallpapers, but only one. (wallpaper_adw.jpg)
my question is: how can i put more than one wallpaper visible to nexus one in that folder ?
i say in the folder drawable/hdpi there is a wallpaper_adw.jpg, and you can see it in the menu for wallpapera, can i put other wallpaperss in that folder that you can see in wallpaper menu?
I think its better if you pm the developer. If you look in cm roms you will see that there isnt special section for adw wallpapers.
If you want to make a rom maybe you can start making it on cm?

I've flashed to the latest Phoenix ROM and actually love the default wallpaper. The problem is that I was toying around with ADW Themes and accidentally replaced it. Now I can't seem to find it anywhere in my phone.
It's not in any of the long press / wallpaper folders nor could I find it in app/launcher.apk. It seems silly to reflash the ROM just for the wallpaper plus there's no guarantee that I'll do this again while tinkering.
You can find it in the themes and apps section in the phoenix/ff thread or in the rom zip in the system/framework/drawable-hdpi/default_wallpaper.

Awesome, managed to hunt it down in the framework folder. Is there any particular reason why it's not included in the default wallpaper area? IMO it's the best of the lot.
The default one at first boot is inside the framework-res.apk.
If the dev has included it inside the wallpaper picker then it's inside the Launcher .apk.
wallpaper back to stock
you don't have to download anything if you want revert back to default wallpaper simply put in or apply a live wallpaper then after that press home and go into settings in application and click manage application then click running application then find the live wallpaper app thats running open it and click force stop now you'll be back on your default wallpaper...enjoy
I downloaded a 1280x800 wallpaper on Google images but when I go into gallery and press set picture as the picture is way to big and I can't fit the box around the picture..
Download Wallpaper Slideshow from Market. Use a file explorer program like ES or Root Explorer and make a folder called wallpapers. Move your wallpapers into that new folder and use the program to point into that folder. That should fix your problem.

i can't find the app I searched for wallpaper gallery on the market but couldn't find it
Grab a copy of wallpaper wizard from the market. I had the same frustrations as you before I found it but now life is good

I edited my post. Follow those instructions.
MultiPicture Livewallpaper is a really good option to control your images and set full wallpapers. Its free on the market.
See ya!

I found out about this recently
I found those programs to slow down the xoom a lot. Scrolling through homescreens goes jerky etc.
In the end I wrote my own livewallpaper that just sets a completely static image as the background at full resolution without any cropping. When you turn in portrait it uses the center third of the image.
I think the issue with the other apps is on every frame update they appear to reload the image so it is acutally doing full screen animation but with the same image all the time. I made my wallpaper only reload the image when the orientation changes.
It's pretty buggy at the moment as if you load a massive image it will force close due to lack of memory. Also the wallpaper picture doesn't reload until you change orientation. If I get time to sort these bugs I'll put it up on the market.
Matt.
Hello, I have a question as I change the default wallpaper on the go launcher.

I use Go Launcher Tablet edition, what works for me was to get the ICS Google Gallery APK and move it to System/Apps folder using root explorer; then change permissions to rw-r-r and from the gallery set the image that i want to wallpaper, depending on what apps you have installed, there will pop another request for the crop app, use the same Google gallery in case it shows other apps.
good
It worked well, thank you very much.
Alternatively, you can download the app Backgrounds HD Wallpapers

I am currently using Go Launcher in order to get all the pretty, pretty themes. I wouldn't mind ditching GL if there were some app that would read a GL theme and apply the wallpaper and icons to Touchwiz. There's an app that will use GL icon packs but normally you don't find a GL theme's icons available in an icon pack. I can certainly copy the wallpapers from the theme files, that's no problem. There's an app that will (hit or miss) pull all the icons from a GL theme, but they aren't in a pack after pulling them out. Any advice on how I can accomplish what I'm interested in doing?

The only way to use those themes are with the corresponding launcher.. Go, Apex, Nova. I've been using Nova for years & would never go back to touchwiz. If you're rooted you can install xposed framework to use a theme engine module, but I haven't seen any modules tested for the S5 yet.
