[Q] I have a big problem. Plz help :/ - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've got a very unexpected and disruptive problems.
Noticed yesterday that Odin no longer find my phone. When I went into the download mode and connect the phone it pops up a windows message, "USB Device Not Recognized". Everything worked just fine until yesterday.
I've tried to install the drivers again without success.
I have also reinstalled Windows, but even then, without success. How should I do? Something is very wrong with my phone :/
Another problem is that I cant do something in the recovery anymore. Some signature is missing. Same thing with Clockwork.
Dont know what to do anymore. The only thing I can do is root with Super One-Click.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Btw, I have done factory reset. Many times

My phone has a blackscreen after JPK update

I'd like to start of saying I've read almost every thread regarding this and I understand that there's a good chance that my internal SD is permanently blown up I'd just like to establish some things here that may put me in a different boat.

I just want to be clear ...
So I last night I flashed JPK, PDA/MODEM/CSC with 512pit installed latest oneclick lag fix 2.1.1, SGS tools and other basic apps. Was running perfect all night except that RAM seemed to be eaten up easily.
Then this morning Advanced Task Killer Froyo Beta started acting up. So I tried a reboot and then I got this black screen issue.
Tried reflashing JPK again. Just successfully flashed JH2 but still the black screen.
Recovery/Download mode work. With 2.2 recovery mode I was getting SDCARD connect errors on screen, but since JH2 I don't see them. Tried wiping cache partition, and factory reset. Still black screen. I've tried without external SD and SIM and just recently with external SD.
In this JH2 recovery mode "update media, finished" and Apllying MultiCSC works properly too. When in recovery mode, Kies tries to recognize it, but boot/blackscreen I get nothing.
Is there anything else I can try? I have read through this whole thread, but it's a lot to read and understand. Anything with ADB? When in recovery mode ADB shell returns a device not found

Currently it's back on JPK for the time being and using ADB I can finally get it to recognize there is a device, but it says it's offline. What does this mean? Does this mean that it wasn't in debug mode when it crashed? Or something else? At this point does this help me at all. At one point I did get internal and external drives to show up in my computer, but I couldn't acess them. As if they weren't mounted. Actually, that's how it's behaving now.
Can anyone think of anything else for me to TRY at least? I don't want to give up just yet. I realize all signs point to bricked but I just want to try a few more things.
Any tips are appreciated.
Thank you very much

[Q] Unknown device after SmartFlashTool error

Hi guys,
Well, I was using V28A until the last 30 minutes. Then I saw that there was an update so I thought "Let's try it". As usual I decided to use SmartFlashTool but after 30 seconds, it said "connection timeout" and since that moment I'm trying to get my phone recognized but I only get a "Unknown device". I tried also in my father's computer to install freshly the needed drivers, then tried KDZ Updater (using the trick to be able to use it), SmartFlashTool - even though the phone wasn't recognized - without success.
Has someone any idea ? I let it in S/W Upgrade mode, being afraid of not seing it boot again.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the inconveniance.
EDIT 1 : My phone was getting so hot I decided to keep out the battery and then put it again (I was ready to give it to repair being angry of losing my phone - and... it booted as if nothing happened ? Then I went again into S/W Upgrade mode and it was recognized. So... what went wrong before ?
EDIT 2 : This time it worked ! But I would like to understand what caused that "temporary" error because it had erased something before setting flash adress (which failed). Or is my phone kind enough today because mom's birthday ?

[Q] CWM not working. WHAT?

I have a problem.
I downloaded another ROM on my LG Optimus 2X. Installed through CWM as a hundred times before. But during my first run he reported the error. And I can not do anything. Just a black screen. But... it happened to me a few times before.
The first idea was to restart and reinstall. But, with all the saints, I can not run CWM. Everytime when I press the volume down and off, nothing will happen, just back off. Why?
The second idea was to run through the computer, but there is a problem with non-genuine software installed and then terminates the process.
Probably I did not get rid of the problem with using the phone ... I hope that there is a program, which again put into operation the phone and then I can do it myself.
I read the forum, but I have not met a similar problem.
Thank you for any help.

Encryption Unsuccessful Error

I recently encrypted my phone. It worked fine, but it was causing some issues for me when I tried to transfer pictures to my computer over USB, so I tried to disable it, but afterwards I got an error that says 'Encryption Unsuccessful', and my only option is to 'Reset phone'(which does nothing).
I've done a lot of searching but have been unable to find anything that has helped me resolve this issue. The phone was not rooted. Is there any way of fixing this?

Bad looking brick. Device stops and keeps restarting at recovery screen.

So... I found my old XT890 laying around in my house and i decided to pick it up to see if it works.
I turned it on and immediately appeared an OTA update, so i went there and downloaded it.
When i installed it, the phone restarted and is now looping on the recovery screen (Android system recovery <3e>). I tried factory resetting it, wiping every data to see if it solved anything, but it didn't work.
I can make it to the fastboot menu by using the volume keys, but no option actually seems to work, only "Switch console [NULL: null]" that changes to "Switch console [default: ttyMFD3]". Wondering if that does a thing.
I've tried some solutions from threads here, but none of them seem to work on my phone. RSD Lite looks like it cannot recognize anything, and drivers and "unbrickers" does not work on me too. (Am I doing something wrong?)
Is my phone recoverable? It's the second time I update a phone via OTA and it loops on the recovery menu.
Facing a similar issue, death by OTA update, did you find a solution?
