On My XP computer i was able to flash mine and my fiancées phone's in the correct way then when i went to do my friend's in the exact same way it KDZ updater crashed near the end so now the phone is stuck in boot loop. All i can get up on it now is DOWNLOAD MODE but every time i try 2 re-flash it the computer loses connection with it. I've tried every possible way available here and over at Modaco but haven't had any joy. Does anyone have any idea what could possibly be wrong?
I haven't a clue how i got it working but think it was somewhere along the line's of taking everything out of the phone and plugging the USB in so it turned on itself. Instead of the phone booting up it came up showing a pic of the phone to show to put the back cover back on and was able to get the drivers to work then. Hopefully this will help[ other ppl!
try to set it in download mode and reflash
Hey thanks for the reply but i had already edited the bottom of the post to say how i got round it so hopefully it would help others. Thx anyway.
I've got a very unexpected and disruptive problems.
Noticed yesterday that Odin no longer find my phone. When I went into the download mode and connect the phone it pops up a windows message, "USB Device Not Recognized". Everything worked just fine until yesterday.
I've tried to install the drivers again without success.
I have also reinstalled Windows, but even then, without success. How should I do? Something is very wrong with my phone :/
Another problem is that I cant do something in the recovery anymore. Some signature is missing. Same thing with Clockwork.
Dont know what to do anymore. The only thing I can do is root with Super One-Click.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Btw, I have done factory reset. Many times
Hello,
I was previously using LG True version 0.6 ROM but wanted to go back to stock.
So I used it via the NVFlash way, half way through it putting it back to Stock, I accidentally unplugged my device thinking it was finished, now my phone won't boot up. Whenever I try to re-flash it with NVFlash the CMD auto shuts off with a message I can't read since it's that quick at shutting off when trying.
I have tried restoring via Smart Flash but that doesn't work (Tried holding vol down & plugging in but doesn't populate anything).
My phone won't boot.
I've tried re-installing the NVidia drivers, same issues.
The NVFlash gets the different stages before failing (Usually it gets to the point where my phone goes into S/W Upgrade mode, then fails)
I cannot get into S/W Upgrade mode to restore via Smart Flash as nothing happens.
Device manager picks up the phone as an NVidia USB Recovery device.
I appreciate any help as I'm lost without my phone.
Step-by-step guides are preferable since I'm new to flashing etc.
The phone is in download mode.
You need to find a way to send the rom to the phone, so the phones downloads the rom again and starts working.
Try pm'ing Paul over Twitter.
This is fixed now.
Unsure why, but trying a different USB port enabled me to use NV Flash and now booted up fine.
Thanks anyway guys and sorry for wasting your time.
Hey everyone!
So i'll try to explain my problem. I have an ascend p7-l10. I had flashed lollipop, but ran into some problems so I wanted to revert to B609.
When I tried, I made a few mistakes and I'll sum up the problems I have right now.
-Phone won't connect to pc
-Phone only boots in 'failed to start' mode
-phone doesn't charge in 'failed to start mode', 'bootloader'
-Recovery is broken (only force flash works - it is the stock recovery from B609)
-Battery level is below 15%
I've allready given up hope and went back to my ohh so very slow samsung galaxy i9001, but if anyone can help me in any way. I would be soooooo freaking thankfull!!!!
My best regards to everyone

I had something like this, when I tried to go back to stock 609 after using My-ROM.
Then I had to flash the B121 boot, system, userdata, recovery1, recovery2 (if exist) and cache. Using the VOL- & Power button when phone is connected to the computer.
Now I am stuck on B121, can't upgrade, can't flash custom recovery, can't flash B133, every update.app get a fail result, but at least, it work!
You have to think in emui Version...
Use the transition packet to rollback. Iam online with my phone please use the search.
Look @ my editet Text...

Well THE biggent probleem is (atleast I think), that my battery is below 15% and won't flash because of that. The phone won't charge anymore either...
Flash the Boot and recovery img of the newest Version (via fastboot) that was okay on your phone (i think b609 was it).
Then charge the phone (dont Start it up, try it to charge complety powered off or try to go into fastboot or recovery mode and charge)....
After that, try my first post.
PS: i flashed @ 8% ...
....results?
I tried what you said but the phone won't connect to a pc in any way. The thing that's confusing me the most is that the phone does start whenever I plug it in to any kind of power source but after that it stays on but, doesn't charge...
Thank you for your help 'till now I really appreciate it!!
Ok, so I've got a little update. I got the phone updating the transition package (first file), atleast partly. I held down volume up+down and connected the usb to my pc. It starts updating but, when it comes to 100% it gives an error: System update failed (again). The pc gives a notification that a device has connected but it just says: usb-device.
I hope that with this information anyone can help me get my phone back to life! or atleast out of it's coma...
Thanks in advance
Edit: it doesn't directly give the error but stays at a 100% 'till I disconnect the phone from the pc and then gives the error
Soo, for the people who are by any chance willing to help me, I have some more information. I think that the force-update isn't working because there is no recovery or a faulty recovery installed. Besides that the fastboot mode is somehow broken and won't connect to my pc in that state. Every time I try force-update it went straight to software update failed, except for the p7L10_isreal_4.4.2_emui2.3_B135. With that rom it went to what I believe is the recovery, but then it said validating updating package. After that it shuts off and went to the force update screen with system update failed...
After 1,5 month of trying everything I finally did it!! Thank you 87insane for the help you have offered me! and I really want to thank tinyXperia for his reaction in the Q&A section (not even my thread) but, his method worked like a charm!!!! Phone is out of it's coma (thankgod). Really weird that I had to flash B800 transition package but it did the job.
Thankfully the thread can be closed.
Hi, I'm having a complete disaster today having tried to go from the latest stable Chinese ROM to a global ROM.
I understand that I need to unlock the bootloader, so after a fair while managed to do this. It didn't work on my PC but it did on my wife's. I really should have given up then. Sigh.
I think this unlocking did work as the developer settings say it's unlocked and when the phone boots up (when it did boot up) there was a little unlocked graphic at the top of the screen.
At this stage I thought all would be good. I have downloaded the MiFlash tool (2021.2.26.0) and the ROM below.
Mi 8dipperstableV12.0.2.0.QEAMIXM10.0GlobalDownload2020-11-23
I'm certain that I have the Mi 8 (and not the lite or other version) so this seems like it should flash?
After having to download a fix (something to do with drivers) I can see my phone in the Flash tool and can select the folder with the rom (before the fix any refresh would just cause my phone to say "any key to shutdown"). So I can click "flash" and keep everything crossed.
But, it doesn't work. Initially it seemed to progress but after about 10 minutes, with the status bat at ~95%, it gives a timeout error. I think - though I'm losing track - but I could still boot my phone up at this stage.
I did this a few times and the same thing happened. Then, I got a worse sounding error "Missmatching image and device". I kept trying and got this or some other instant error that I didn't note down.
After this my phone wouldn't boot up, it just goes into recovery mode. I do note that it I press vol up and power I get the option to connect to some windows app (this doesn't work) but curiously if I try flash from this state I get the same issue as above (it seems to work slowly but then times out).
So I'm at a loss and have a broken phone! Any suggestions would be very helpful to say the least!
I'll add that at the moment the phone is stuck with the fastboot logo on, so I can't even turn the damn thing off. I can try but it just boots up again into this screen :-(
Geeze, on about the 20th try the flash tool just hung so I yanked the phone out and now it seems to have worked. I'm keeping everything crossed right now!
Display fastboot logo, maybe it is not bricked.
"It didn't work on my PC but it did on my wife's. ". I had the same problem when I unlock the bootloader. mi 8 not work well with usb3.0, suggest you use your wife's computer with usb2.0. OR patch you PC registry of windows 10 with attached bat file.
Are you a Chinese ?
