I set a path to .kdz file, everything starts, and i get this:

you dont need windows enable i use the english version and dont need windows enable well i dindt need it but sure i will @ it gonna update 2day cuz rooting on 1.6 and 2.1 are diffrent so need to fix it also a2sd found out sometimes it crash

The rooting method for the 2.1 os was found out by me :

You are using other people's findings as your. You create an exe from these jobs.

Guys, this is the version of the app that was free on the market. I believe the developer is now charging for an updated version of the app. I can't remember the thread, but I got this apk from someone who posted it here. So it's warez in one ROM, but not another? Not trying to sound like an ass, but it's hard to understand that logic. Anywho I have removed it, to make people happy...

When it gave a su request you chose "always allow" right?
but it doesnt ask me dat
Is your phone even rooted?! If it's not, the app won't work and you will need to use the SDK to take screenshots using DDMS.

nope have not fixed it yet. seems like its a original dev phone but it came boxed brand new. in the mean time, the data sync does not open
and
system update gives the error - com.setting error or something like that..

However Gapps is not an .apk file. You need to flash Gapps with the help of a recovery ROM & for that you need to have Android SDK installed. If all this is latin and greek to you; you should visit here

I would also suggest you to go through ROM Bible sticky in this section.
Alternatively you can unzip gapps file and look for marketUpdater.apk in system>app folder and install it manually. I have not tried this method ever but you can give it a shot; it will not brick your phone.

I am familiar with flashing and customizing windows mobile but I know android is entirely different from that. I hope someone can provide the video tutorial.

I dont think theres a video out there, tho theres alot of guides around, trust me its really easy rookies do it without ant problems u just need to fallow every step.

Regarding the DonPanda's video, I didn't clearly understand the KDZ updater program part as the program was in russian, and also the rooting part. It will be very helpful if you can provide a close up of the various task that we will need to do in the "handset". I couldn't follow anything that you did with the mobile.(I'm sorry to tell you that I am so dumb in android.) And thank you guys for the nice support.
More over I just want to know whether flashing custom ROM can brick the phone? What all steps should I be careful in that case?

First u have to download the ROM u want to install. The ending of the file is .KDZ like an *.exe but.. ye... .kdz
After u download the .kdz file, put it in a folder where ever u want. Start the Windowsenabler.exe from the .zip-file in that thread.
Second start the KDZ_FW_UPD.exe and choose the in step 1 downloaded .kdz file during pressing the "folder open" button.
After u did this, and ur phone has "Debugging mode" active (Settings -> Applications -> development -> USB Debugging [Check]), pres the field with the many "??? ? ? ? ????? ?????" twice.
The .kdz (ROM) extract itself and install ur costumrom on ur device.

After the new 2.1 Android is installed, reboot ur phone, reset usersettings to fabric standard (Settings -> Privacy -> reset bla).
Download This file, extract to anywhere, connect ur phone via debug and start the "root.bat" file.
Ur phone restarts shortly and vuala, ur device is rooted.

Well, there is everytime a basic risk while flashing ur device. No one can say "ye, it will work for u" or "no, please don't do it!"
Normally the public product works on every Smartphone. As i said - normally.
In percent under 3 %, but... 3 % is much.

U cant do anything. When u'r phone finally bricks, its broken.

Reason being that WhatsApp is showing Incompatible on all custom roms i install on samsung focus ....
Cant install from Marketplace please some1 help me out.

I tried to download whatsapp xap using Phone7Market today. It downloaded the file succesfully, but something seems to have changed, I can not open the file as a zip file any longer, not using 7zip, not by changing the file-ending...
Did Microsoft change to encrypted apps yet?

Yes and yes.
Microsoft enabled PlayReady on all XAPs from the market now, they're encrypted. They did update the devices for this - Mango added support for PlayReady. So far it was just not turned on in their server side.

looks like Neonode N2 has "Windows Mobile 5.0" not "Windows Phone" OS.

I am one of the extreme noobs you hate, and I hate doing this to you.. but I couldn't find another way then posting for help..
Here's my problem..
I recently got a Kaiser, with a 8Gb SDHC card,and wanted to install Android for it.. I read all the guides, and thought I could manage myself..
I choose a Haret version, to see how the Android works, and then maybe later do a Nand version ( all you guys keep telling its the better choice ) .
I choose Scoot_CyanogenMod_7.1.0_RLS3 android version first.. but as i couldn't install it.. i downloaded a Incubus26Jc's version Super Froyo RLS15 version..
I did all the guide said.. downloaded atools, started it choose the device, resolution and the version... ( i didnt know what to choose, Develop or Stable version, so i tried both ) .. On the panel type , i choose 2 .. On key map i choose Normal .. on FStab i choose Partition 2 on all the tabs.. I did all the steps in rom mix .. downloaded a haret.. In boot scripts editor I choose partition 2 again, checked the Install system, Fix permission, clear Davik cache and Use SD partitioner.. Divided the sd card on two partitions.. Saved all the files.. And tried several times.. And I still cant install the freaking android..
Maybe my problem is i dont have a working brain.. i dont know..
Anyhow.. if anybody wants to help me.. please give any advice ..

I don't see startup.txt and haret in your directory
Your partitions "system" and "data" are at the same place
Haret is there, i forgot to take a pic after putting haret in the andboot folder.. I'am using haret-for-kernel-2-6-32 version btw..
What is a startup.txt .. i haven't seen that step in the installation guide ?
And I didn't realize that system and data should be at different places.. I thought I should put them both in partition 2.. Where should I place them ??

I don't use partitions, so no help on that case specifficaly.
startup.txt is what makes your phone to boot... u need it!

Ok guys, so after reading this forum for some time, I managed to install Android, using NAND.. and I'm very thankful for all the help i got from this forum.. but, i have some problems.. Some applications ain't working, or they are reaaaaly slow.. like Viber, Skype .. and some other more demanding apps.. My question to all you guys that are running Android on Kaiser is : What's your experience with it, and what's your setup?
Maybe Kaiser is just to slow for some apps, and only solution is to overclock it using Rogue tools, or to find the optimal set-up ?
Anyway, i'm running My Modified Fresh Froyo Release 20-2-2011, with clemsyn's kernel.. and my radio version is 1.70.19.09.

Dude, this phone is 5 years old, u gotta understand and Viber, Skype! those are some heavy apps
Well, my kaiser is real smooth, with launcher pro, it's delicious But calculating takes a while, like opening apps, sending messages trough the internet, playing games...
I'm running same radio, same rom, and kernel...well that kernel's old! use liquid's kernel! It's the newest one on the atools! BUT for this you need to make a androidupdate.tgz or .tar just go into recovery and after installing the system install the update

Don't forget to make the androidupdatet.gz or it willl say it failed! Didn't you use that kernel on the SD? Cause if you did, you also had to apply the update
