I just recently updated to 2.2 Froyo and I can't install clockmod at ALL.
I literary spent 3 hours googling and trying to solve it but no luck ...
Anyways, everytime I try to "update" my phone to install CM, I would get this error:
"E:failed to verify whole-file signature"
"E:signature verification failed"
I tried everything, renaming the .zip, using different version of CM, ect.
Note : I tried using ROM manager also, it doesn't help at all :/
Thanks and appreciate the help .

Yes sir.
I used SuperOneClick root and everything went fine..but I guess it won't hurt to re-root it again.

doesnt matter. unless you change your kernel or flash back to stock, you CANNOT use clockwork mod with stock 2.2

Nope same link just started a new thread for discussion. Out skating at the moment but ill have threads on themikmik and rootz when I get the chance
Download hangs bad around 70mb. Just letting you know.
Edit: Nevermind, flying now lol.
lol the name "runnysense" doesn't sound too appetizing ;D
Tried flashing and it aborted. Said can't open (filename)(bad). redownloading now and trying again.
Good job wd. Just take my thread info if you like. Im pretty much down and out right now.
Damn...I might be late to pick up the pizza!
FYI guys, don't panic if it reboots on you before saying done. It did that to me and I then noticed there is a reboot at the end of the updater-script.
That was after I tried reflashing it thinking my phone had a hardware glitch.

Put it in the root of your sd card
Yet again I must say YOU RULE WD!
Does this Rom have the Quick Launch Widget?
Sorry guys I rebooted the recovery and it is installing now. Thanks.

oh ya this is probably your problem why it keeps aborting!
Anyone have any bugs to report? Would anyone compare the stability of this to the Bliss rom?
Also, the wifi module included is for the wrong kernel. Use the bcm4329.ko in the attached zip file. You can replace it before flashing the rom or push it.

ROM Manager doesn't support Note if I recall correctly. Reboot into CWM Recovery and do your backup from there.

Rom Manager doesn't work in Note. That's why there is another app in your app drawer if you would have used CF root kernel by chainfire for rooting. The title of the app will be CWM. You can backup you rom through it and do many more functions. Uninstall Rom Manager from your phone! it wont work as desired.
Hit thanks if it helped!
So after hours of searching i found out I can just flash an update from the recovery to root it.
All of the updates that I've tried have given me the error
"E: signature verification failed"
Can anyone give me any ideas or upload the correct file for me?
p.s. I can't super one click or anything cause the usb port doesn't work on my phone :/

Look at TRusselo's signature. He has a work around that doesn't require usb if you have some experience with root explorer.
