Below is a posting I just found in a newsgroup. The prices seem to low, like below dealer cost -- though I don't know what a dealer pays for smartphones. I emailed the address, and was told I could have a TyTn II for $320, including shipping -- brand new, factory sealed box. Something about it doesn't seem right. Has anyone heard of these guys? The email domain is some web-hosting place with free email. The guy requested my shipping address, I provided a fake one -- he then emailed back stating they only accept payment via Western Union, and that he would 'have the shop-keeper make my shipping label right away'. Sounds like a scam to me...?

when something sounds too good to be true it's often that it's
not just not true but also a fast way to loose alot of money fast
and possibly get cansor or get killed or abducted
I don't even know where to begin with this one. First of all I don't know many people who use UPS, FedEx and DHL. Normally companies will stick to one or maybe two and create an account with the courier for improved discounts, working for rogers we only shipped using FedEx and used UPS on occassion to send reports. Also I know some people's english is not perfect but if your making a sales pitch I'm pretty sure you would check over to fix your own grammatical errors. I've actually started to see quite a few of these posts around the web and at one point one of these "wholesalers" was selling the retail version of the HTC Advatage before HTC even released the model.
Just to piss em off I'd suggest putting through an order of around 5000 phones just to mess with their emotions.Act real professional and ask for just one first just so you can see how long it takes. Maybe you'll get lucky and the loser will actually think you're going to send him the money and he'll send you one phone for free. Longshot but its worth trying....lol

I found many people selling it through "second hand" stores in our country. Try to do the same with google focused on your country area with keywords / sell HTC s730 price / of course in your native language (sell, price).

So you want someone to sell you 2 phones that retail for around $500-550 new for the price of one? The European model has only been out for a few months and AFAIK not picked up by networks yet.
I think you need to either set your price higher or wait for network upgrades to filter on the market. It's when people get 'free' or heavily subsidised phones they don't need that second-hand deals start becoming attractive.

Sure hope thats each, unless someone got theirs for free no one would sell two for what they payed for one, and if it was a pre - prod unit...
but there are not carreer like vodafone, o2, cingular that sell it for a contract? and sameone that coul resell it? i know it's possible and yet done
Did you try my recommendation? I found the second hand phones (one month old = warranty) on 500 dollars level in CZ. I think that in your country you will find the same. There are many people disillusioned by RAM, ATI drivers, GPS lacks.
For a new phone such as this, you'd perhaps be better off trying on ebay
Do not forget that price on ebay is sometimes "penalized" by paying also the TAX and VAT to your custom.
My S730 is brandnew and im already so fed up with it.
Im going to sell it on ebay in the comming days.
I will also post the link to the auction on this forum for you to use.
It means that you are not satisfied by s730 and you will switch to different producer? As f.e. jocky.d? If yes, I have some favorites.

Well my favorites:
Asus P750 - although it has only 64MB - the free memory is about 20MB, the phone is handy sized
iPAQ 614c - very cheap, little bigger
I-mate 8502 - qwerty keyboard
All models are on the market only few days.
I've only had this thing since last week and I think I'm going to return it. The memory leak is horrible, not to mention there isn't enough of it to begin with. If I browse to a non-mobile url using IE, the browser closes since there isn't enough memory! The keyboard is slow and if I type fast, misses letters and I have to go back. A few times I have placed calls and they route through the speaker phone even though I haven't activated it and the entire phone locks up. Don't buy this phone, it sucks. I should have bought a Tytn II, at least then I would have working GPS.
I was after something a little smaller but with features.....
I liked the size of my old C600 but obviously you get more the bigger you get :s

The original touch pro hasn't dropped much in price in the UK, it's still around 500 pounds from Clove. The TD2 is cheaper!

Wow! Bejeweled 2 for WinMo is seriously high priced! $10 friggin dollars for it on WinMo. I payed $1 on iPhone. I payed $5 on WP7 and got the Android version free. Then to put a cherry of crap on top of it all, I Googled Bejeweled 2 for WinMo and saw a site with a coupon that brought it from $10 to $3. I bought it and it turns out to be the PC version instead of the WinMo version.
This is one reason among a few why WinMo failed. The price of decent apps and games were way too high.
If anyone knows of a better...legal...price for this on WinMo other than $10, give me a heads-up.
