I'm considering buying a n1 because my g1 just broke and t mobile doesnt offer any good phones except the n1.
I heard the first batch of phones the buttons were sometimes unresponsive are the new phones fixed?
What about the multi touch when crossing the axis was that fixed?
and how bad is the 3g problems that people seem to have is it a big issue or only happening in some phones?
T-Mobile has plenty of alternative smart phone choices, and the Nexus isn't even sold by T-Mobile.
The buttons were called unresponsive because that was before some people used the phone enough to realize that the touch responsive area is just slightly above where the symbol is, others were referring to the glitch that sometimes happens where the screen is unresponsive or touches registered somewhere other than where you tapped the screen.
The multiouch problem comes from a problem that the clearpad2000 has, and exists for all Nexus Ones. This is most likely not going to be fixed in future models.
The 3G issue is more prevalent in some radio versions than others, and more in some areas than others. Some report that the problem can be fixed with an update while for others the problem persists.
I know its not sold by tmobile but it can be used on tmobile which is what i have. And to me I think other companies are getting android phones while t mobile is getting mytouches.
But the only thing having me 2nd guessing is the 3g issue. other than that I heard its a good phone.
Just be prepared to return it if you have any problems. I love my nexus and have no issues, 3g is rock solid and I'm on a fringe area of coverage. But I use ATT. Majority of complaints seem to come from t-mobile versions.

Hey guys, I currently own a myTouch 4g which I love, but I'm thinking about giving it to my wife and picking up an HD7. I love Microsoft's new OS and the phone itself, but have a couple reservations. First, I'm worried about the reception issues (death grip) that people are talking about. Anyone on here experiencing this? I'm also worried about the quality of the camera and the fact pictures come out looking pink. Does anyone know if it is going to be updated in the future? How are all of you liking your phone's otherwise?

there's an issue with reception? News to me...having had my HD7 for almost a month now and experiencing no problems at all with reception I reckon its an invention of the media (or Steve blow Jobs himself) to try to weaken the public perception of WP7s. Just because iPhone 4 is crap doesn't mean they have to trash others as well. But I digress... As far as camera quality...its a phone. Its not going to plop out perfect pics but they look pretty nice if under the right conditions. The 720p video recording is the same, under optimal conditions it looks great. The pink thing should be fixed, I'm pretty sure I heard it was a problem on the HD2 and HTC fixed; don't quote me on that though. As far as everything else about the phone...its amazing (excluding the missing features coming in Januarys update, already dubbed "WP8" by Chris Walsh), quick, smooth, never laggy or glitchy (cough Android cough) and is honestly just a joy. I've always been a phone hopper (mostly WM6 & BB) but I could definitely see myself staying the course with my HD7.
There are no antenna issues simply because the antena is on the lower back case and trust me the phone being massive it's pretty hard to squeeze that case even if you do it intentionally. However, if issues do appear it really might be an overall faulty device or some weak coverage.

Hey, a Romanian. My wife is from there and still is a Romanian.
Hi I have an HD7 and no problems with reception at all .. its on o2 UK.
camera is average, takes better pictures in daylight like all other 5mp camera phones..
But you will like a lot of the features of WM7 and guess some of them you will downright Hate
But still its fun and the screen is the best for browsing .. you definetely wont need to be on your comp all day
Hopefully by next year with the updates and more apps we will be rocking...
I think you will like it
i dont have the deathgrip issue although i do have a problem sometimes in my home but that is because it is very rural where i live but all in all, its a great phone
and i havent noticed the pink hue yet
Thank you so much for all of your replies! I think I'm going to pick one up today. I'll let you guys know.
So I'm about to get a Nexus 7 for Christmas, my other android device is the Tmobile LG G2x which I had since it was first released.
Anyway, I came to the Nexus 7 forum to read up on my upcoming device, lo and behold I see threads about tiny miniscule flaws like screen lift, screen flicker, crackling speakers when the volume is turned up etc. and many new owners returning their "flawed" devices in for a "perfect" one.
This gave me flashbacks of how it all started for the LG G2X. A lot of people found "imperfections" with the device and blew it totally out of proportion, and because one person posted a thread on what he percieved as a flaw, everyone else started to succumb to the power of suggestion and noticed these "awful flaws" too, and decided they were gonna return it in hopes of getting a "perfect" one.
We all know how this turned out. LG G2X started to get a bad reputation, even though it's still one of the best most powerful dual cores out. It was well ahead of it's time when it was released and had huge potential, but all the so called "flaws" brought prospective buyers to google the G2X only to find links to threads of "my G2x has this and that flaw", persuading people to think G2x was an inferior product when actually, those reported flaws were over exaggerated, just so the owners could return it for a "perfect" one.
My point is, how can you justify returning a brand new, mint condition, Nexus 7 just because you feel a .000001 mm screen lift to the left side? or because you turn up the volume on the speaker and hear some crackling because you're about to blow the speaker when you can just lower the volume?
I've worked retail before, and when customers return a product claiming it's defective, the store writes it up as one, get's full credit for the product and even though it's 100% functional and flawless they are required to trash the product. Imagine how much money you'll make ASUS or Google lose and then they'll cut their losses and withdraw support for a great product, just like what happened to the G2X.
Come on people, don't go looking for flaws where there are none....
Totally true!
And of course it's also the fact that no body opens a thread to say "my n7 is working perfectly"
In my case, my N7 it's perfect and have never noticed one of those "flaws". The only thing, truth be told, it's that the speakers are "weak" in comparison with other devices, but that's not a flaw, it's a characteristic. Saying it's a flaw is like saying that the camera is a flaw because it's not an 8mp HD video recorder cam.
People should enjoy the devices instead to go looking things to complaint about

I agree, i just noticed i have a screen lift on the let side and so does my friend. I pushed it back in and everything's fine. Its so minor (literally less then 0,2mm) that I really couldn't be bothered to go trough warranty for it (I also got it as a gift from UK and it would take months to get a new one). I had a screen lift on my previous Galaxy Spica, that was some screen lift it was well over the housing, it was annoying, but it didn't affect the touchscreen.
Also the speaker is small, I haven't had a device that wouldn't crack at high volumes, its not made for that. Again, if you're not happy, spend twice the amount of money for iPad. People forget that this is very cheap device for its performance and of course it comes at the cost.
I really like my N7 its fast and light. If you're thinking of getting one do so, don't let perfectionists with light case of OCD change your mind.

i know exactly where your coming from.. idk too much about the g2x but my phone is a lg spectrum... first and last lg ill ever buy.. build quality is horrible... the one im using now is my 5th replacement.. the first only got data signal.. wouldnt call or text... the rest have all had bleeding on the edges of the screen.. plus lg and vzw tortured us about the ics update.
ive had my nexus 7 for a couple weeks now and i love it.. my only dislikes are no sd. and the fact that 4.1 and 4.2 put your files in different places.. other than that.. my N7 is the best device ive ever owned
Yeah. Another device where (especially initially after launch) bad user reports or bad reviews blew a bad rep out of proportion is the Acer A700. I have the device, and it's a really fine, really good working device with a gorgeous screen and great connectivity. Show me another device that - for 399 Euros! - offers that much!

I' m not sure about screen lift (don't have one) or crackling speakers (don't really care about built-in speakers). But I'm sure that screen flicker is a rather annoying issue, and it's bad for your eyes, too. This is like looking at an old CRT monitor @60hz, or even worse.
Actually, I do everything I can to keep the device. I've already bought Nvidia Prism toggle and Lux auto-brightness, none of which helped the issue. I also had to root and re-install my brand new tablet just to try these apps.

The software of the G2x was a train wreck. Random reboots galore made the device almost unusable without a custom rom.
Nothing like the G2x IMHO.

Yep, quite a few issues on the software end, not so much hardware which is rare as a lot of LG products don't last hardware wise.
I do understand where you are coming from though OP. PERFECT N7 here!

+1 on a "Practically Perfect In Every Way" Nexus 7 here.
Only things that make it imperfect is actually the software and not being able to run Java with Android....
Hardware it is "Practically Perfect In Every Way" aside from missing a rear facing camera....oh wait, I have a Nikon DSLR for that job.....
Glad to be rid of my O2X. The Galaxy S2 craps on it, nice thin form factor and not a chunky brick like the 2x.

I agree with the whole over exaggerating minor flaws, but comparing the nexus 7 to the g2x not so much.
I had a g2x and actually sold it and went back to using my single core galaxy s 4g because the g2x was far too unreliable to use as a phone.
I now have a 32gb nexus 7 (flawless) and a gsm galaxy nexus and love both of them. Sure my gnex has a bit of purple tint at minimum brightness, but I would of just thought that's how the screen is if not for all the complaints.

Perfect example of horrible support and bad rumors killing a great phone. Hardware was the best of its time but crippled by premature software.
Seriously though, it was pretty bad.
I can't even remember anything bad about it except it had screen bleed... and its bad software.
LG blamed Nvidia but Asus didn't have a problem keeping my Tegra 2 Transformer updated like twice a week. It had more software updates then Google's own Xoom.
Damn LG. I'm still iffy about LG devices that require updates.

I had a g2x and it was fine and even better with a custom ROM it could play any game and most games if not all were compatible but it was that phone that made me a flashaholic and we all know what happened all the developers got a galaxy nexus or galaxy s2 and we were left with settling for no longer updated GB Roms or the broken ics roms, I tried to learn how to build Roms but too hard for me, the nexus 7 on other hand I went through 2 before finding lucky number 3 without a major screen lift trust me the first was a moderate squeak when touching the lifted side then the second one was extremely bad and my third one was very light not even there really but overall I loved the device from the beginning to keep it instead of getting a refund

Totally agree. Mine has backlight bleed but I really don't notice till the screen is totally black and still it minimal. I too have a g2x and loved it. But now because support is dropped for it it sucks a bit because everyone returned it and now things like Bluetooth and SOD because LG did a half assed update to shut ppl up. I figured out how to stop the SOD and don't really use Bluetooth often anyway (it does work in stock but I don't care to go back). Sorry form the bad typing its 4am here and I havnt slept yet lol

While I can appreciate the OP's intention, I would have to respectfully disagree with his method of thinking.
The reality is many electronic devices have legitimate defects. To say that we should not discuss them or post threads about them is asinine IMO.
I feel this way for two reasons:
1. The user base on XDA is a fraction of the general public. And a minute fraction at that. To insinuate that a few overzealous posts could possibly hurt a giant conglomerate's business (all of these companies are huge in both the cellular and other markets, with the exception of a few smaller companies) is amusing. There is no way people discussing the flaws of the Nexus 7 is going to "hurt" Asus or Google. There is even less negative effect on companies like LG or Samsung because they are in so many markets.
2. Considering the above, the very small impact that these product criticisms have are needed to show mfg's that we are paying attention to the product quality, even if they aren't. In addition, we are going to raise awareness to others who may/may not purchase their product(s), and it may even end up in an Android news blog. This tells them that they can't just shove crap down our throats and expect us to praise them like some idiotic fan boy. This is needed to force them to adhere to stricter quality standards.
Just my two cents. Btw I love my Nexus 7. Carry on...
I think the issue, as the above post says, Is definitely a QC issue. Asus's motto is "Persistent perfection" which I have pointed out to the Asus techs in the service center here in Taiwan many times :victory: as I have brought in the various failed devices they have sold me over the years. I would like to take this argument to the next logical step. The screen lift at the outset means that the frame and screen are not joined correctly. The posts I've read say the bonding surface is only 2mm wide. This means that the device will likely have much worse separation issues as it ages. Yes, these gadgets weren't built to last millennia, only the life of their battery, which should be around two years. Two years wear and tear, a few drops later, will this device become unusable? Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you...Live by the sword, die by the sword, etc.
Agreed with this thread entirely. The Nexus 7 did endure some teething issues than cannot be denied (my original n7's screen had a constant grey wash over the screen i.e. blacks displayed as light grey :good But I had a great RMA process and my replacement has been perfect ever since.
The N7 did have screen lift but it was revised with revisions. In the early models it was prevalent because of the way it was manufactured.

No need for the italics
Just my 2 cents here but I can't agree with this thread.
If a company is producing inferior quality products then the market will punish them for that, and rightly so. People pay hard earned cash for these products and if they rattle or have screen lift they are well within their rights to complain and return (the reason we have warranties) the product.
(I have a Nexus 7 and it's perfect btw)
This is one of the reasons Apple is a revered brand name among so many people, their pursuit of quality.
However I don't think the Nexus falls into the above category, it just had some teething problems. Also, judging by how hard it was for me to find one in stock there's no worry about it falling foul with customers.
Hey guys I'm about to buy an HTC One .. I'm a student and it took me a lot of time and hard work to get the money ... I need an honest advice from you guys plz
1. What's this problem with the Camera having a purple/pink tint ?? Is it a wide range problem ? A lot of users have it ? Or just some faulty devices ?
2. I heard that it overheats a lot .. is that true ? And if yes then when exactly does that happen ?? Games ? Or just excessive use ?
Thanks in advance to everybody who will answer .. much appreciated !!

Hi,
1) I (we) don't really know, software or hardware issue... , I have not this issue personally (HTC black), maybe take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317507 for more info...
Even after updated to Android 4.2.2, custom kernel, etc... I never had this pink tint...
2) No overheating here... It's clear that play an heavy game while charging and yes your One will overheated..., ambient temperature plays its role, overclocking too...
Browsing in 3/4g in sun or while charging is the same thing (even without sun/charging LOL, same thing for all phone with a beast of CPU), quadcore at 1.72 Ghz, simple... It inevitably heats but ther is a different between heat and overheat.
There is a difference between the "overheating" you feel and the real temperature of both CPU/battery checked by an app. Without any real temperature report the overheating is subjective... With stock or custom kernel I never had temperature issues.
In any case there are some overheating protection (thermal throttling) and with a custom kernel that allows some thermal settings, you can increase the thermal throttling so less heat... and even undercloked/undervolted and that can help a little...
Maybe I'm lucky and I speak, maybe, only for me, but I have no issues as above for my One (black HTC One from June)...
EDIT: ok it's not about the HTC One, but generally about overheating for a quadcore (S4). It's about the LG nexus 4 known for overheating:

After all that it depends of your usage, the One is an awesome device (I came from a Galaxy SIII and I've always my Nexus 4), but depending of your use maybe there is better. I think about pictures... In lowh light the One is far better than a Galaxy SIV, but in "normal" use... Maybe not. It's like the screen, the "formfactor", the "overlay" (Sense vs Touchwiz), etc...
I think I've been around, at least for me

My sgs3 would get to 125° on the regular with the same situations, the HTC One got to 122° so far. No camera issues for me either. I say go for it, play with it for a while heavily in the conditions you're used to and make your final decision before having your 14 day (or whatever it may be for you) grace period gone.

I have no issue with the camera so can't comment on that.
The phone frequently feels warm in your hand and that's because of the aluminium body; this acts as the heatsink for the internals so the heat is transferred to the body which is actually a benefit you don't get on a plastic body. Although it can feel warm/hot in the hand a check of the temperatures will show it's well within safety limits. It can overheat doing things like gaming whilst charging or running a nav program whilst charging but in severe cases overheat protection will kick in to prevent damage.
I have a camera with purple tint issue and it is not because of heat.
Until now the issue is not resolved by HTC. Some users got a perfect camera when they bought it, but a few months later their camera became defective without any reason.
So, if camera is a main point for you, you better rethink again. Also don't forget to check after sales service in your country. In my country, it is terrible. Been waiting camara's part for almost 3 months, still no news.
You can also check purple tint thread in this forum for more info.
I have this phone for a couple of months now and I am satisfied with it but there are some things to consider.
1. The issue with the camera is difficult in a way that it is subjective, and it takes a little bit of trying to replicate. So there might be guys saying they don't have it because they simply haven't noticed it. However looking at the poll in the widely know post about that issue, clearly tells me it is a general thing, even taking into account guys that deny it. Our best bet now is that it is due to sensor overheating.
When I first saw that thread myself, I have tried what the guys were saying. Was covering the lens, was shooting dark photos and I came to conclusion that mine camera is fine, but it either grow on me or the sensor got damaged over time as now I can clearly see the issue.
2. I am using GPE rom on it and while it is very nice and all, now when I think about it - the phone is as good as the software on it. If I was living in the US and could buy Nexus 4 for that cheap I would definitely choose Nexus 4, and then with saved money update to another Google device. Here in Europe the difference in price between Nexus 4 and Htc One is not that big. That being said, if you are going to use GPE rom on it and value your money, Nexus 4 is a better option in my opinion.
However if you want better specs and want a device that will last you a little bit longer then Htc One is perfectly fine.
3. If you are not going to use GPE rom but the stock Sense one then I gotta tell you that it is very solid. It is so much better than TouchWiz that this is crazy.
4. The quality control at HTC seems to be low. If you want a perfect device with no gaps with no recessed buttons, with the display that is perfectly aligned with the rest of the body, prepare yourself that this might not happen on the first try.

Much appreciated mate ! Was really helpful !! I think I'm going to wait a little bit .. just to see how HTC is going to react to the camera thingy

Hi there,
It does "overheat" but still stays alive.
Also when u make over 500 pictures in a very short time (I did 5x 100 quick burst shot pictures) my phone heats up very much and I get that big purple dot. Goes away quick after cooling my phone down.
I also have not experienced any problems with my camera. I guess the ones that have a camera that's okay don't feel the need to comment on that thread, making it look like almost everyone has it.
And yes, it does get warm at times. It shouldn't get any hotter than, say, a Galaxy S4 (same processor, but slightly higher clocked), but it is possible that it's easier to feel because of the aluminium design. If you wouldn't feel the warmth, it'd mean all the warmth stays inside the device, which in turn is bad for the processor.

You can also check purple tint thread in this forum for more info.

can you plz tell me where did you buy your phone from and when ?
Hello all! My name is Terence, and I've been dealing with Android devices and rooting for years now, so the first things I always look at when I'm searching for new devices are the Dev community, and the AOSP scene. Right the the device I have is the LG G2, and while its an amazing device, flashing ROMs (or hell, just owning the device in general) is a lot like playing Russian Roulette with the display. What I mean by that is, there is a known problem with this phone where permanent black lines would appear on the right side of the device, with no real explanation so far. At first, people thought it was because of flashing certain ROMs, or the phone overheating. Then people started vetted screen damage being just on stock. And I am one of those people with screen damage. So I started thinking, I can either get this fixed for $130, or search for a new device. I've found a good condition HTC One M7 for $150. My question(s) to you is, should I do it? Is it worth it just to buy this particular device? Are there any crazy issues such as my screen damage that pops up? I know the One isn't quite as good as the LG G2 on paper, but I'm not really a power user like that. I just love me some AOSP ROMs, and there's work being done on Lollipop, which is also a huge plus. Thanks for your time and answers!
I've never used the G2 so it's hard to compare, but I like my m7. The only crazy issue that pops up is that pictures taken in the dark can get a purple hue to them. The consensus seems to be that it's caused when the phone gets hot. Since I usually don't take pictures at night, it hasn't affected me much. As for the developer scene, we have some great developers here still. I can't think of a single ROM that was not created/ported to this phone. Also, HTC is still actively developing for it, so that's a plus.

I would go for the G2 simply due to the combination of performance, battery life, and awesome bezelness it provides.
The purple hue is actually a VERY widespread manufacturing defect. Sending the phone in for warranty repair fixes it - I have no idea how much it would cost without warranty. And really, the camera isn't all that spectacular even in good conditions. However, HTC seems to be committed to providing a great UX, with their Play Store apps, timely updates, and Dev support.
So it comes down to this: would you rather have a mediocre(honestly, that's being generous) phone with great dev options or a great phone with mediocre dev options?

I think that is a rather harsh.
Frankly if you are going for a used m7 which doesnt have a camera issue I think it is a very good choice to have because frankly this was awarded the best phone of 2013 and we will officially get the lollipop. Sense UI is one of the better additions as opposed to the rest

The thing is, the whole reason why I'm even considering doing this is because of the G2's seemingly random problem with permanent screen damage on the device, which I will upload a picture of. People have gotten their displays fixed and either had black lines again straight from boot, or had everything be okay. I simply do not want to waste my money for a fix, so it'd probably just be better to get a new device altogether.
Maybe what I'll end up doing is fix the screen sometime in the future and then end up selling one of the devices, depending on which offers me better real-life performance and has a better development scene.

I did mention that HTC has really developed quite a rep for being Dev friendly and providing a great UX and timely updates.
However, they put WAY too much effort into making this device good looking and feeling (I'll be honest, this is, to me, the single best looking and feeling device ever built. Including the M8 and every other phone I have ever seen) and not enough into making this a good performer. The camera took the worst hit of all, along with battery life.
However, the G2 seems to have its fair share of problems. It seems that the tiny bezel may be the cause of those broken LCDs. The m7, however, is a solid phone, and will physically never fail you. It was tested to be one of the most durable devices out there.

These are the two things people ding the phone for and I understand why, but for me, the battery lasts at least a day with bad reception and two days with good. I do admit though that I'm not on the phone a lot, but I can usually get 3-4 hours of screen time. As for the camera, I've taken some really good low light pictures with it (see attached for my favorites, one has my wife and mini-me in it).
I think that HTC one is meant for people who want all rounder phone. Its not the best at any aspect but is very good in most
LG is meant for people who actually do benchmark tests and compare numbers. Count the number of pixels. etc
Its focused on power users.
But Frankly i think smart phones these days are over powered anyways. I mean do you really need a octa core phone to play flappy bird?
I use HTC because its comfortable and friendly and good looking its not the most powerful one or with the most number of megapixel but it works.
Well I ended up getting it, and I'm... Well, I'm slightly disappointed. The phone is definitely smooth and fluid for being an older device, but what I did NOT know was how damn small this thing was. I really can't even type too well with this device because of the screen size. And I have he purple camera bug as well, but luckily for me, I actually don't use the camera too much, and all definitely points to heating issues, because once the phone cools down, the pictures go back to normal. Speaking of heat, this phone gets HOT. Like, hot for no damn reason. I could simply just have the screen on for two minutes and it'd already start cooking eggs. Which leads me to my next point. Battery drain. Holy Christ this thing doesn't know what it wants to do with it's battery. I could be at 15% then plug the phone in, reboot to recovery to flash a different ROM, then suddenly I'm at 52%, then I'll drop down to 36% after just setting up all of my apps.
In conclusion, I've come to terms that this device isn't just for me, and I will be selling it to fix my G2 screen.
You have a defective device lol that's sad because I honestly love my m7 and I don't feel the need to upgrade yet. My old m7 had horrid battery drain and the speakers blew put but my second one has been running smooth on stock for 6 months now (old one was 6 months but I dealt with those issues for about 2 months) . My battery life still amazes me. I love the size the form factor and the hardware keys. Honestly the only deal breaker for me is no SD card slot. I'm no where close to filling up 32 gigs but I like having the option for on the go pr0ns and what not.
Another major problem is the camera. I've come to the conclusion all m7's have the purple hue problem and its very annoying. I can't send nice pics unless I use the flash but sometimes it gets white washed its OK I deal with that fault because everything else is perfect especially the 4.7 inch 1080p. I was lookin to upgrade to the z3 compact but its only 720p

Nothing about that sounds normal. I have an M7 and I have no intention of upgrading until "the next big thing" arrives. Maybe silicon anode batteries. Or lytro cameras that can do live HDR and supersampling.
This phone is really solid, and I can't imagine anyone actually hating it. Maybe you need to calibrate the battery by running it down completely then fully charging it (without turning it back on)?
And hey, 4.7" is perfect!
I dunno, choice is yours. Fixing the G2 sounds great, whatever.

You have a defective device. I did advise you to ensure you have no issues with the used phone before getting it
That device isnt meant for anyone I guess.
If the price is too good to be true I guess it really was too good to be true unfortunately for you
Nice to see y'all came to the same conclusions hahah. The g2 is a great phone none the less so you should prilly stick with it.
I also love the "wow what phone is that?" When I lay it on the table

I'm a fan of HTC and I only buy their devices but not some of there craps. I bought a used HTC One m7 4 months back and I love it. Its solid, slim, easy to handle and excellent quality. It has very slight pink tint issue or almost not. I haven't had problems while taking photos day/night so far. It has ST sensor. Only problem is green tint when flash is turned on but I believe its software issue and will be fixed soon. Apart none of the issues I have that you have stated. I play Traffic Racer, Turbo Racing 3D and even Real Racing 3 for hours but the device will be hardly heated, Thanks to aluminum body. It is having CM11 official Nightly and I always update it.
Battery life is at-least 1 day on heavy usage and 2 days on light usage.
LG G2 has 5.2" whereas HTC One M7 has 4.7 so a difference of half inch makes you feel HTC One M7 is small. I did not had problems with typing but I think you have bigger hands so you need more then 5" of display or a note. Still bigger mean difficult to handle daily and its the reason we call smartphones for small devices and note for bigger.
Used devices will never be 100% working conditions unless seller is trusted. Sometimes seller hide the issues and sell it to get best price, so you have to be careful.
I never really post much but I do have to agree that if you do a little work this has been my favorite phone to date. I have viper one for my Rom. Took some time learning getting customized the way I want and have kangaroo kernel for double tap to wake.
I hate the sleep button so the screen wake was my last hurtle. Battery could be better I guess. That may be a sign how much I use it though.
I tried the Moto x for a while and it's a really nice phone however with my setup I'm not looking anymore for a while. Gave the moto to the wife.
